Propagation not picking up new db link password

Hi,
I recently changed the password of the streams administrator (strmadmin) and realised after a short time that the propagation process failed at the other site because the password of strmadmin is hardcoded in the database link when the link is created:
CREATE DATABASE LINK db.site2
CONNECT TO strmadmin IDENTIFIED BY strmadmin
USING 'db.site2';
I dropped the link and re-created it using the new password and found that the propagation process was still failing. I left it to retry a few times with no success.
I bounced the database and propagation suceeded!!
Is there any way around having to bounce the database? My customers will not be happy with a database outage each time they change the strmadmin password.

I faced the similar issue while testing the streams.
What you need to do is stop the propagation and again start. It will resolve . No need of bouncing the database.

Currently we are in R12.1.3 with DB 11.1.0.7 on RHEL 5
Suddenly Standard manager is not picking up any new requests actual and target are same but pending requests count reaches 1533 also conflict resolution manager actual & count is same but pending requests count is 219.

Schedule and Items program is not picking the new Billing lines created PN

Hi Gurus,
I am using version 11.5.10. I am populating the data into Property manager billing lines of lease thru API.
Once the Lines are inserted I am calling the Schedule and items program to for authorizatio.
My program is not picking up lines created thru API, I am trying copying the same line and inserting in billing tab and it works fine.
Looking forward to your suggestion/solution....

I don't know but I think you call of the Schedule and items program is in a new session.
Then you must commit the data before you call the Schedule and items program

I have deleted my icloud account as it would not accept my new email or password but now it is asking for my id and email and says it is incorrect

I need to update my phone and it will not accept my new apple id and password. I have changed my apple id and password recently to a new email address. How do I update my phone when I can't get passed the id bit? Thank you

Thank you for your reply but I sorted it out by turning my phone off and then on again and it seemed to update itself so I could put in the apple ID. However, it's really not easy to negate the iphone and change emails which is unavoidable sometimes. If anything like that happens again I now know that there is an icloud website at least. Anne

Jtextbox Not picking up new value

Guys, i am trying to fix a bug and havin no luck so far.
I have a
JTextField cell editable that is within a table and that in panel, etc
it has a keylistener on it. The setValueAt does not seem to work.?
Basically what happens is that when I edit the value in the box and fire a submit event, it picks up the old value already prepopulated rather than the new one i put in.
What going on? How do i fix it.

Just to say that this works when I click into another cell before I hit submit .
But when I hit submit directly after editting the cell i want to update, it doesn't pick up new value

[Solved] grub-mkconfig not picking up new kernel

I compiled the linux-lts kernel from source today, woohoo! First time compiling from source. Fun!
I followed the Kernels/Compilation/Traditional - Archwiki. No problems at all in the Build Configuration and Compilation & Installation steps. The issue is that when I try to add the new kernel to grub.cfg
# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub.d/grub.cfg
it does not pick up my new kernel. Here's the contents of /boot:

lullllzlzl. Oh man, I'm not even going to deprecate myself here, or make excuses. To be perfectly honest, I'm glad it was a typo and not a real issue. I can't thank you enough for pointing this out. Gladly marked solved.

IPod resynchs when A LOT of unchanged songs, does not pick up new playlists

My 60 GB iPod classic crashed big time, requiring me to reset it and reload 10K+
songs. (I only use the iPod for music.) The reloading process was of course a
slow and painful one, with perhaps 10 or so interruptions where a file could not be
read. But I could always pick up again. Now, it seems that all songs but one have
loaded from my iTunes library to the iPod. (I keep getting a message that the iPod
cannot be resynched because there are two songs with the same name or some
such thing. Any idea what that is?) Anyway, it keeps chugging away and finally
says synchronization is complete, okay to eject. So I eject, wait until the do not
enter is gone from the screen and detach the iPod. BUT, none of my new play
lists are there. So, I reconnect the iPod - changing nothing in the folders in
iTunes - and the iPod resynchs again, deciding it needs to reload something like
1000 songs. At first I thought maybe the time on the iPod was bad, but I checked
and that was okay. So, I am at a loss as to what to do next and would greatly
appreciate any suggestions.
One other aside question - if this iPod is permanently fried in some way,
could I just buy another iPod, hook it up to my PC, and load it with my iTunes
library. I would like to think the answer is yes, but I wonder if there is some
serial number tracking or something that goes on.

Later found some other commentary on the -69 errors and disk recovery. The comments were helpful, but my 5year old iPod was beyond hope.

Problem with views -- not picking up new records from table?

I'm having trouble with some of my views and I can't understand what is wrong. I have a table that contains three months of data. The view references the table, but only picks up the prior two months of data. When I query the table the latest month's data is definitely in there, and I've checked and rechecked the view and it looks OK (besides, it worked in the past when I loaded the 2nd month's data without and changes). Can anyone suggest anything to look for in terms of why this latest month of data doesn't show up in the view? What is even stranger is that I have some other tables that contain 3 months of data and those views work fine and are identical except that the table and view names are different (obviously). Why doesn't this pick up those rows above? it seems obvious to me that there are records with upload dates on 08-may-2007 BUT when I run it as above (which is how I run it in the view) they don't appear. What am I missing????

Apple tv does not recognize my new icloud id

I had to change my icloud ID and password. Apple TV does not recognize the new icloud ID/password after signing out and signing back in, I rebooted/reset, still nothing. I reopened home sharing too.

After much trial and error, I solved this. I logged out of icloud on my MAC, and since I had already signed out of icloud on the apple TV, the apple TV finally accepted my new icloud id and password. Apple tv also wanted me to input my password via the TV and NOT the remote. So.....apple ain't lyin' when it says to sign out of all your accts on ALL devices before changing any apple IDs or passwords. Let this be a warning to anyone in the future so to save you much time and frustration

Check Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on both your iPhone and your iPad to make sure that the following are all true:
(1) you have selected the same Apple ID on both devices,
(2) you have the same entries checked under "You can be reached by iMessage at:" on both devices,
(3) you have the same entry checked under "Start new conversations from:" on both devices,
and
(4) that the entry checked in #3 is one of those checked in #2 on both devices.
When you say it has affected your iCloud account, what effect has it had?

Updater does not accept my new password

I have changed my password yesterday as Adobe warned me to change it via email alert last week. Now I can log in to my account with my new password without any problem, but am not able to update any apps via Adobe updater. The updater does not accept my new passoword. (The log in box just shakes to reject) I have Creative Cloud running under the Mac OS X 10.7.5. Could someone help me?

SDM password not picking

We are not able to login SDM using RemoteGui.sh . previously we were able to access same password. But now its not picking.
Can any one help where is the problem and how to resolve .

First check if your SDM is running or not?
You can also reset the SDM password to login.
follow the steps as mentioned:
1. Goto SDM directory:
cd C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\SDM\program
2. execute the following (just copy-paste)
sdm jstartup "sdmhome=C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\SDM\program" "mode=standalone"
3. execute following line (replace "password" with your new password for SDM)
sdm changepassword "sdmhome=C:\usr\sap/J2E/JC00/SDM/program" "newpassword=password"
4. sdm jstartup "sdmhome=C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\SDM\program" "mode=integrated"
5. start SDM StartServer.bat
Then try to access using new password.

iTunes will not let me backup and sync to new phone encrypted password?? I've never set a password for my old iPhone 3gs but tried my old Apple ID sign-in passwords to no avail. I've simply sat here so frustrated....my husband sync'd his new iPhone 4 no problem, somehow the checkbox shows Encrypted password and I'm at a loss on how to change this/find the password and transfer my old backup onto my new phone so I can use it. You are referring to OFFICE 2010, not Windows XP or 7.
And which version of Windows do you have?
NEVER begin before you have a backup, ideally one you have tested and know works.
You don't really install Boot Camp, the Assistant is a partition tool utility.
You may just want Office 2008 for Mac.
If you need Office for Windows, perhaps run Windows in a VM like Parallels or Fusion.
Buy some backup drives and start using TimeMachine for one backup, then weekly backup with SuperDuper.
IF there is now a partition for Windows, all you need is to buy Windows, and I would recommend Windows 7 Home Premium (retail) which is about US$149.
Has nothing to do with free space. Office 2010 isn't to boot from. In fact, you can copy the disc to a folder (1.25GB) and run SETUP from there.
