  • How we can change the tech.name of attached doc. recieved by broadcasting

    Hi all,
    After broadcasting the Workbook/report we are getting as attachment name with system defined name like u201C WORKBOOK_4DY3APLGXP0YJFBC251NOVDDFu201D by default in to the user inbox.
    Can we control this attachment name to come with actual workbook/report name what we are broadcasted actually?
    What ever we are giving in subject line & detail mail description in u201CText u201C tab of broadcast setting we are getting the same in subject & description of mail respectively. Itu2019s fine.
    But the problem is that the attached broadcasted doc. name is coming with as different as I mentioned in  below mail.
    Please revert back if you have any inputs

  • What is proper syntax for using PassBack in a Report page select statement

    In my select statement I reference the passBack function using:
    onClick="javascript:passBack()"
    In my Page Header I (Typically) define the passBack function as:
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    function passBack(passVal1,passVal2) {
    opener.document.getElementById("P2000_CABLE_ID").value = passVal1;
    opener.document.getElementById("P2000_CABLE_LABEL").value = passVal2;
    window.opener.location.reload(true);
    </script>
    But I have never used the passBack function from the Select statement before and cannot happen onto the proper syntax.
    The Page Items I want to pass are:
    1. :P2004_CABLE_ID
    2. :P2004_LABEL
    I want to pass them to:
    1. :P2000_CABLE_ID
    2. :P2000_CABLE_LABEL
    Can someone please help me out... Again?
    Thanks- Gary

    Let's assume column XYZ has both numbers (1), and letters (any alphabet).
    I have a case statement on SQL to turn any value that's not 1 into 0, then I am getting a sum of that column.
    I am also grouping by Row A, B etc to get aggregated sum of column XYZ for those group.
    Now on Crystal Reports function, I need to sum up values under column XYZ for all the groups.
    If I try using sum function like below, I get an error stating:
    "A number field or currency amount field is required here"
    (sum({Command.XYZ}))
    So I thought if I can use a case statement to change the non-numbers to 0 prior to sum that will probably resolve it. But I could not get the below case statement to work either (Error: A string is required).
    SELECT {Command.XYZ}
       Case 1:
          1
       Default:
          0;

    I am using OSX 10.9.5 and Outlook Web App for emails. When I download an attachment it replaces the space in the file name with %20  - how can I change this?

    Click on the below link :
    https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
    Step 1: select Mac OS  X 10.6-`0.`0
    Step 2 : Safari and FIrefox
    Then click on " Download Now"  button.

  • When downloading a file, only the first word of the attached file is included in the 'file name' field, not the entire file name, as it used to.

    Regardless of filetype, only the first word of the file is filled into the "Enter name of file to save to..." dialog box. I'm set up to 'save file' in the FF Options > Applications tab for the basic MS and Adobe files. To successfully use/find the downloaded file, I type in the remainder of the file name. Have I overlooked an additional setting? Running FF 18.0 on a Win7 PC.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
    *Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

    A possible cause is that the server sends a wrong response header.
    The server may not comply to RFC 5987 and sends a wrong Content-Disposition:attachment; filename header.

  • Setting up the File Name of email Attachment from Received File Name

    Hello All,
    I have to send the Received File in attachment to an Email if there is any exception. Here I can attach the file, but I cannot set the file name of attachment as the Received File Name. Is there anyway of doing this without using custom pipeline component.
    Here I am using the Orchestration and SMTP Adapter.Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    It might work if you use a custom pipeline component on your send port and in the Execute method populate the MIME.FileName property of the body part.
    Something like:
    public IBaseMessage Execute(IPipelineContext pc, IBaseMessage inmsg)
    string filename = inmsg.Context.Read("ReceivedFileName", "http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2003/file-properties");
    inmsg.BodyPart.PartProperties.Write( "FileName", "http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2003/mime-properties", "filename);
    return inmsg;
    You can take reference from similar post here
    SMTP - Setting attachment filename
    Anther good article with MIME is here
    Setting attachment filename with the SMTP Adapter
    For MIME case your SMTP message construct statement would be like below
    multipartMessage.MessagePart_1= InMSG;
    multipartMessage.MessagePart_2="This is message part2 as a string";
    multipartMessage(SMTP.Subject) ="Email From Dynamic Port";
    multipartMessage(SMTP.From) ="[email protected]";
    multipartMessage(SMTP.SMTPHost) ="yoursmypserver.com";
    multipartMessage.MessagePart_2(MIME.FileName) = "Attachment_Name";
    multipartMessage(SMTP.SMTPAuthenticate) =0;
    Thanks

  • Files always download as "attachment.ashx" instead of the file name and file type that they actually are.

    Since I have installed the new version of Firefox (version 8.0), every single file I download is downloaded as "attachment.ashx" and won't open. I have to change the name as well as the file type in order to open the document.
    This happens regardless of if I'm downloading from email, from a website, etc.. All of the files I have downloaded also have already been named and had file types appended, but Firefox is changing them every single time. I have never had this problem before using the same sites and downloads.

    Please hurry up with a solution! This is causing havoc, as I cannot open any attachments at all! It defaults to Adobe Photoshop, and then I get an error message that it is the wrong type of file. These are all Word docs! I can't get my work done! Is there some kind of work around that I can use in the meantime to open these things?

    Make sure that '''''Print to File''''' isn't selected in the native print dialog box ''(see screenshot below)'' middle-right, and make sure your Printer is selected at the top of that dialog box.

  • When I try to save an email attached file, the file name is automatically convertied to "attachment.ashx" although the correct file type is recognized. How do I retain the original file name?

    This problem occurred after the most recent update to firefox 8.0.
    After right clicking on the attached file, I click on save link as.
    The correct file type is recognized. However the file name is converted to "attachment.ashx".
    When I rename the file, it downloads properly and is opened by the appropriate program.
    However, I should not have to rename each downloaded file.
    In particular, this is happening with Word files and with Scientific Notebook (.tex) files.

    Cor-el, thank you for your advice. I was able to navigate to my Profile Folder and I deleted the mimeTypes.rdf file. I then closed Firefox and restarted it. The problem was still there, and I found that the mimeTypes.rdf file had been re-created.
    I tried your second suggestion, but the files you mentioned were not present so there was nothing to reset.
    Any other suggestions?

  • Why does the file Name for file attached with Annotations "Attach File" (paperclip) become Unknown when Comments are Published?

    Our company recently purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XI for the purpose of using it for shared electronic reviews.  We are using Send for Shared Review created in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, and all the Comment tools work as expectedexcept the paperclip in Annotations.
    When a Word or Excel or Image(png,jpeg) file is attached using the Annotations paperclip, the initiator can initially see and open it. But after Publish Comments is selected and the review file is closed, the file "Name" changes to "Unknown" (although the Description has the correct file name and extension).  The Modified information is Unknown, as is the Size and Compressed Size.
    When the review file is then re-opened, even the initiator cannot open the file, although:
    The file location is marked with the paperclip within the document.
    The file name is shown in the Comments List with the initiator's name.
    In the Attachments list (the paperclip beneath the Thumbnails and Bookmarks) the Name appears as Unknown, Description shows the file name, Modified is Unknown, Size is Unknown, and Compressed Size is Unknown.
    The file Name cannot be edited, although the file Description can be.
    We have followed the procedure described in the tutorials but cannot figure out how to troubleshoot this situation.  Since this feature was the reason for the purchase of Adobe Acrobat Pro IX, we would any help. Please don't leave out any basics since we are all new users.
    We have several people with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and the rest have Adobe Reader XI and it is a Windows platform.  Can someone please give us some advice how to get this feature to work as described?

    FYI Rave,
    There are some other forum entries with this exact same issue...:

    Verizon Chat advises pdf attachment non-download from AOL email is a software problem and directs me to Apple Support. I see "can't access cellular data network" in an instant before the file's icon is replaced by the file's name. In Inbox three emails in a row show there is an attachment. My iPad 3rd gen. runs 7.1.

    You have Acrobat Pro on your system. It will try to open PDFs, and of course it will fail. You must uninstall it. Then, you will need a PDF reader. So install Adobe Reader. That seems quite simple, but perhaps something is wrong. If anything goes wrong with these two steps (1) uninstall Acrobat Pro (2) install Adobe Reader, then please let us know the details.

    Hi,
    Im trying to upload a file in my custom OAF page, I need to read the file that iam trying to upload and need to display that name.Currently its displaying as "view"

    DataObject dataobject = pageContext.getNamedDataObject("AttachData");
    String s7 = (String)dataobject.selectValue(null, "UPLOAD_FILE_NAME");//

    Till this point, s7 is printing correctly (i,e what ever file name im trying to upload its displaying correctly).
