Properties panel (for Content Types) not showing when creating sharepoint based document

Hello,
I've created three Content Types to populate when creating a new Budget document. The problem I'm seeing is that my pc always opens the Budget doc in Word Online and the properties box does not show. When I create a new Budget doc with my test pc, where
it always opens in Word, the properties box does show the three Content Types.
Is the idea of Content Type and the properties window supposed to work in Word Online?
My pc is Win 7, Office 2010 and IE 11
My test pc is Win 8, Office 2013 and IE 10

Hi Jimbo, they don't work online. You should change your library settings to open documents in client program.

Type not showing when opening pdf in Illustrator

Here's a strange problem that I don't recall having seen before.
I have a pdf file with diagrams of cupboards and tables with measurements. Everything looks o.k.
I open it in Illie (CS3) and everything shows up except the type. It is point type and only the points are there. I can drag over the type where the letters should be and there IS something there (coloured black according to the Color palette) but no recognizeable letters. I tried copying the type from the pdf and pasting into Illie but still no luck. I have the font (Syntax Roman) but the only way I can get it to work properly is to type the text in again manually. Any ideas please?

InDesign created this PDF and made the font a CID Identity-H font (not opentype, but similar in the respect that it has many more characters)
I am not an expert on this topic so you may get a better response reposting this here or in the acrobat forum with a new topic (eg: converting PDF CID fonts to .ai).

Excise and ***. Valsue doen not show when Creating a Sales Order

Hi SAP Gurus,
I am creating a Return Sales order through VA01 with reference of Billing Document which was earlier giving error of 'Copying from sales document type ZSFG to ZREV is not supported' that was resolved by going through the available threads support. I have done it through VTAF.
Now system copying the records and showing the material and qty but when we doube click an item and then go in Condition tab it is not showing Assesable Value, Excise amount and CST where as it was showing Freight Amount.
Please advise what wrong we are doing.

Check the pricing analysis in condtions tab what it says ?
If only taxes are not copied then check the UTXJ Condition records , if it exits then go to VK12 check the validity periods of the same.

Flash content does not show when playing from server

Why doesn't the url for a page not show when I open a 2nd firefox window?

Whenever I open another Firefox window, the address bar is blank. If I type in an address, it'll navigate to the site but all subsequent sites will not be reflected in the address bar.
Also, why is there an orange "Firefox pull down menu" always on these secondary windows?

Does the problem occur when you run in Firefox [[Safe Mode]]? If not, then see the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for help finding the cause of the problem.
On the orange Firefox "pull down menu" menu, do you mean the [[How do I get the Firefox Button?|Firefox Button]] that replaces the Menu Bar (at the top left of each Firefox window) or something else?

A picture that was saved in a word document is not showing when I open the document in Pages. Is there a way to recover the image, or a specific type of file that Pages only recognizes?

My professor posted the course syllabus online and at the time, I was using OpenOffice. Whenever I opened the document the image would show perfectly fine, but I switched over to Pages because it had a template I know one of my professors wants a project to be done in. When I opened the same document in Pages to see if it would look the same, the error box popped up and said the image could not be imported and there was a blank box where the picture should have been. My question is, is there any way that I could somehow get the image to show or was it saved in a format that Pages doesn't recognize?

Open the document with Open Office. Select and Copy the image. Paste it into Pages.
If that doesn't work,
Open the document with Open Office. Select and Copy the image. Launch Preview. Press command-N (New document from Clipboard). Save the Preview file as a PDF or JPEG, as appropriate. Insert that in Pages.

IP address not showing when creating Network Session

Hi,
Odd one here. I have been having issues with CoreMIDI lately. To try to rectify I deleted my existing Network Session 1 from the Network applet in the Audio MIDI app. This has been working fine with lots of iPad based synths except for one app (V-Control Pro) but having tried all other avenues to fix my problems I deleted the session.
I created a new session and enabled it but where it used to show the IP address of my Mac Pro i.e.
192.168.254.4:5004
The iPad used to show up automatically in that window and I could select it and click connect and all would be fine.
Now it only shows the bonjour/AD name of my Mac i.e.
crapple:5004
and the iPad no longer shows up until I either open a CoreMIDI app on the pad or I open MIDIBridge on the pad
question 1: Why does my IP address no longer show up?
question 2: Has MIDIbridge "hijacked" CoreMIDI on the pad so that it will only appear on my Mac Pro when it is open?

Hi Jason,
Possible answer to Q1: I don't think Audio/MIDI setup ever shows a raw IP address unless you keyed it in yoursel once upon a time. Given the IP address range you quote is dynamic, the iPad's IP address could change over time, I'd suggest you are safest using the bonjour name of the iPad to connect from the Mac (when it is visible - see below).
Answer to Q2: No, MidiBridge hasn't hijacked CoreMIDI, but you need at least one CoreMIDI network aware app running in order for the network session to be activated on the iPad. MidiBridge is one such app and since you generally would start it and leave it running in the background will keep the session active for you.

Highlighted PDF text not showing when Placed in InDesign document

I'm trying to create a document using ID4 to compare two PDF's, an original PDF and a revised version with the changes notated using the Acrobat Highlight tool. When I Place the highlighted PDF into the ID document the highlighting is not imported. Am I doing something wrong? Is this feature not supported? Any assistence would be greatly appreciated.

Properties panel for masks not working

The apply, disable and delete buttons on the properties panel for masks does not work in PSD CC. Is this a bug or do I have some setting not set correctly? If I want to apply a layer mask I have to drag it to the trash in the layers panel then make a choice on a popup menu. They worked in CS6.

I don't know exactly what is going on with your friend's system, but the instance you mentioned of Applying layers masks, was actually a safety error trap. i.e. Do you really want to trash this layer mask or do you want to Apply it before deleting it.
In CC the Adjustment layer, and Masks share the same Properties panel, so you have to have a mask selected to view the masks panel. It all works sensibly IME. As I said above, you were coming at something a bit left field. That's not necessarily wrong. Whatever workflow works best for you is best for you, but there might be better ways to do things.
A lot of us rail innitially at changes to apps we have used in a certain way for many years, but IME they always turn out to be for the better once you get used to them.

Before you connect any device to a new library go to the Devices tab of the the preferences panel via Edit > Preferences (Windows) or iTunes > Preferences (Mac) and ensure the box next to Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically is ticked. You can now safely connect the device to your computer without the danger of media being automatically deleted or overwritten.
To get all your content off your connect your iPad to your new computer.
Then use a 3rd party piece of software to transfer your content

Yep. You need to touch the sleep/power button once to silence the ring, and twice in order for the call to go directly to Voicemail.

I got rid of my earlier error as I was using the conatinerRenderer tag in the wrong way. It should have been

Now I get to display the my edit content; But I still haven't been able to get rid of the top default portal banner that appears on my edit page. It has the default logo gif and the link to the home page.
I can now put my own form and <input> types, Just need to get rid of the default banner now.

Hello,
I recently updated my MBP to Yosemite and installed sketchup on it.
The preview icon of my sketchup files are not showing when in thumbnail. But as i increase the size of the icon from thumbnail in viewoption i.e from 64px x 64px to 124px x 124px it shows. So my icon is shown as blank without any app logo. Also when i change my view from thumbnail to coverflow or something it shows. Otherthan thumbnail everything works.
So where is the error in it?

Try the standard fixes:
- Rest. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. - Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
