Property panel

Sorry I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this, but I didnt find any better place to ask my question, please be kind :)
I'm developing a swing application using the Sun One studio CE and I need some kind of 'properties' panel just like the ones that are in the S1 studio interface (when doing GUI editing, its the right part of the frame where you have 'properties', 'other properties', 'events', etc..).
Since the one in the editor is so well made, does anybody know if I can find similar code to re-use it in my application? Or maybe if you know of another source where I can find such property panel that I can re-use, please leave me a link.

Problem with Property Panel

WinXP Sp3
In CS4, the Property Panel at the bottom of the page shows
the second row of
CSS buttons, partially obscured. Is there a way of fixing

We are having the same issue with the Remote Panels. Occasionally when a user using remote panels releases
control of the panel the LabView program crashes with an Error 1 code at some of the property nodes.
Some of the property nodes are writes and some are reads. Which one it errors on differs each time.
We are currently using Labview 8.2.1. The program was originally written in Labview 7.0. We did not
have this problem in 7.0.
I have been progressively removing some of the "offending" property nodes, but LabView just errors out with a
code of 1 on a different property node.
I believe there is a bug in the NI code for the remote panel somewhere.
If anyone knows a good workaround I would appreciate it.

Property panel is grayed out

I am in the early stages of learning DW CS5. I'm learning how to create a new CSS rule/class.
But after I've set up my new rule/class in the CSS Panel, I go to the Property Panel to enable the new rule,
but it is grayed out. It is inactive. I can't do anything with it.
Does anyone know why this is and how to fix?

Edit: Never mind! I was in Live View!

Try hitting the Escape key. If this works there was a modal dialog open off screen.

Create and Register Custom Property Panels

Is there anyone who worked on "Custom Property Panel" in Webcenter? However, I have tried something using the following link but it seems not working.

Why doesn't DW CS4 show complete property panel?

I've just switched over from "Brand X" to Dreamweaver CS4. I am running a 1680 x 1050 resolution monitor with Windows VISTA Home Premium 32-bit OS.
The property inspector panel only partially shows the left sides of the "Title" and "Target" drop down lists, so there is no way I can select an item from the drop downs. How can I fix this?

Capture Excel data to batch rename Text BTN symbols property panel

Sorry for the simple question I ask. I am CS3 and will be CS5 soon.
In case we build the iphone menu icons with Fireworks, 20 icons per page for 11 pages(totally 220 icons)
Since the icon name are all in same style, so I make a Text BTN symbol and use it repeatly and just change the content.(in the Text box of the Properties panel)
Now I have a Excel data file, but I have to copy and paste the name all manually for 220 times
Is there any method to batch rename/imput the symbols(Properties panel)?
by the way, I tried to use data-driven graphic wizard to merge the icons graphic slice file with xml data file.
it works but not easy to do as I may have 1000+ icons in a project.

Spry Menu Property Panel Disappearing

Hello,
I have an issue I've been unable to figure out. When I add a
spry widget such as an accordion panel or menu bar, there is a blue
box up top. When I click it, I get the properties panel which
allows me to edit the menu. I have noticed after time, the blue box
goes away and I cannot retrieve it.
It seems to be happening when I add a right frame.
Anyone know how I can get this panel back with frames?

URL Property Panel NullPointerException

Is there a way to have the effect in a panel ???

Using the effect in the property panel is very powerfull, but
very annoying when you use more than 4 filters.
So is there an extension to have the effects list ( or as you
call "Live filters" area) out of the property panel ... in it's own
panel ?
Can some FW master (like John dunning or senocular) help me ?

Why is my properties panel empty on photoshop cc

Upon opening my properties panel it is empty. The tutorial I am doing shows the property panel with adjustments ie. Curves. How do I fix this?

Go to the top menu and click:

TimeBalance Property EPMA

hi,
I am trying to load account members via ads file & I am able to import all the members successfully except for the Time balance property for those accounts. When I have successfully uploaded the members I went into application library in EPMA & I don't see any time balance property on right hand side panel under planning as a drop down selection for those members. However if i add member manually I do have that option in property panel. Below is my ads file

I did try to put all the columns in the ads file. When I edit the profile & try to map my properties from flat file to the application properties available I only see the following options:

Still I am missing a lot of properties including Time balance to map to . Not sure if we need to enable these properties from application side to have it show over there?

Properties panel still a major issue - so is overall CC interface

Hi, I have just bought into the whole Adobe CC apps things after years of working with CS4, 5 and 5.5 and remaining compatible with most of my clients, few are taking the leap to CC right now.
Anyways, I am extremely disappointed in the interface, and completely amazed that the Properties panel in Dreamweaver is still ridiculously underwhelming.
Case in point, the URL field.
Why has this field remained limited to just 30 characters when the Property panel extends the full width of the screen and is completely empty from the walfway mark over to the far right?
Can't remember the last time I had such a simple URL it even fit in there, mostly dealing with enewsletters with externally-hosted content... need hard URLs that are lengthy, this limitation adds too much time to my work and is annoying beyond belief.
In addition, all CC apps now leave a hideous solid background that covers all other apps, and the Finder, this to me is reverting back to 1998 standards, not Mac OS X standards at all.
Are the recent Adobe CC apps all Windoze ports? The dialogue boxes look hideous, the progress bars, etc, etc. all hideous, nothing like the slick CS4 look that was a major improvement over previous versions.
And in any dialogue box you have to tab through every single option in the dialogue box... what?
I used to love Adobe apps, I use them daily, several hours a day. Now I just don't want to have to deal with them.
Please Adobe, what happened? Tell me you're working on fixing these issues and making these apps usable again.
Right now I'd rather become a manager and not have to look at InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Dreamweaver ever again.

Hi David, thanks for the Application Frame tip... although in InDesign [the app I use most] it is also in prefs which was confusing, isn't in DW's prefs, or Ilustrator's or PhotoShop's... but the interface colouring is... the inconsistency here is annoying. There are so many issues leftover from previous versions of these apps which I have pointed out to Adobe that it's disappointing, having "upgraded" to CC and not finding any real improvement. I remember when apps moved a full version they were exciting to use and explore, just not happening any more with so much room for improvement - I could understand if the apps had everything needed and were the absolute best possible... but not the case, truly disappointed, could have stayed with CS5.5. Thanks.
PS - that form you pointed me to is the one I used to file the request - and they replied it wasn't a bug it was a feature request, even though the title of that forms states "Feature Request/Bug Report Form" Weird.

Properties Panel Problem

I just installed PSE 10.0 over PSE9, and I have a new problem: the Properties Panel doesn't remember its location. It's docked in the Task Pane. When I close the Organizer and then reopen it, the Properties Panel is in it's previous location, and not the location that I've moved it to.
How can I get PSE10 to remember the location of the Properties Panel?
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit.

You need to click on the "Undock" icon, then the location of the Propertied panel will persist between sessions:

Properties panel not "sticking" CS4

Somehow my property panel is "loose" and not sticking to the bottom. Here's a screenshot if that helps. How do I get it back in place so it's not floating and it stretches across the bottom of the working area automatically? Thanks so much in advance!

I've had this problem, too—with the Properties panel, the Tools, or the Document window. Once they get moved by hand, they never seem to coordinate with the other panels properly.
My only solution has been to reselect a default Workspace (from the upper-right of the screen, or at the bottom of the Windows menu), which resets the panels.
