Prorated Charges are UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

I had a smart phone plan with 450 minutes and 4 GB of data with unlimited texting for a while. Last month I downgraded to a standard phone plan with 450 minutes, no texting and 75 MB of data. I only used a total of about 320 minutes last month but because of the way you criminals at Verizon do your billing to take advantage of your own customers, I now have almost 90 minutes charged to me as overage charges. This is ridiculous!!!!!! I never changed the amount of minutes I was using and because of the way Verizon split it charges and "prorated" the first half of the month they only allotted me 230ish minutes and since the bulk of the 320 was in the in the first few weeks I now owe due to overage charges. I refuse to pay these ridiculous overage charges!!!!! I never changed my amount of minutes and never used over 450 minutes. This is downright ridiculous and Verizon is just scamming their poor customers out of even more money. I am through with this garbage from you guys at Verizon.

Sounds like no one backdated the plan change to either the beginning or end of the billing cycle.

You can't tell which device a purhcase was made on, but if your family members each have their own iTunes account to which your card is linked then you can check the purchase history on each of those accounts via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes - that should have 'purchase history' section with a 'see all' link to the right of it

Freight Charges are created as Separate Invoice not within the line items

Hi Folks,
I have a peculiar problem here :
I will assign the freight cost to the items that are getting shipped during shipping either to the lines or to the delivery,
I Ship the line and create autoinvoice master program.
Expect that one invoice is generated with the lines that is shipped with the freight charges included in the invoice.
But there are two invoices generated with line items on one invoice and freight charges on the other.
We have a setting where in the freight charges are shown as separate line in the invoice.
This issue cannot be reproduced at will. This is happening in some cases only...
Any pointers towards it...

I compared the item line and freight line in the RA_INTERFACE_LINES_ALL table....i see the following differences.
1) Shipment_number for item line is 2 and that of freight line is 0
2) Line_id is different for both
3) original_gl_date is populated only for the freight line.
4) customer_trx_id is different for both the lines.
I see since the customer_trx_id is different the invoices are different.
I think how did this populated differently..
I tried creating a test case wherein trying out same scenarios given in the point no.1,2,3. The system is generating one invoice with item and frieght in one invoice.
If the issue is with only customer_trx_id different. This field is an autogenerated sequence RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_S.nextval. How did this populate different sequence for item and freight lines?

When creating a return by copying an order tax and charges are not defaulting?

I have created a Return by copying sales order. But tax and charges are not defaulted from original sales order. Please note unit selling price is 0 for this item. I am using 11.5.10.2 version.
Sales Order: 143674
Item: UT1
Quantity: 2
unit selling price: $0
Tax: $0
Charges: $0
Calculated price flag: Freeze Price
But Return created as follows by using copy.
Return Order: 6678
Item: UT1
Quantity: -2
unit selling price: $0
Tax: -$5
Charges: -$20
Calculated price flag: Partial Price
Your help will be highly appreciated.

At sales order form, you select Action > Copy
Change the order type to your "Return transaction type"
Go to Line Tab
Change the line type to Return type, enter return reason.
Save
This creates new RMA order.....this way this should copy the original tax amount.
For the Charges part, check in the modifier definition whether "Include on Returns" is checked in the Discount/Charges TAB.

If you did not purchase anything, the charges are not yours.

First-Logon Times Are Unacceptable in Windows 10

So far, we have found several issues with Windows 10 Enterprise, but our biggest issue -- by far -- is with the time it takes to logon a new user for the first time. This was also an issue in Windows 8.1 and is also the reason we largely skipped Windows
8.1 where I work.
The time it takes for a user's first logon is too long, even when we disable the "Show first sign-in animation" setting. I work at a large community college where employees and students frequently bounce from one computer
to another in the computer labs, often never using the same computer twice. They login using their domain credentials.
With new 7200 RPM hard drives and relatively new computers, it takes approximately 160 seconds for a user to logon the first time. With a new SSD, it takes approximately 50 seconds for a user to logon the first time. These times are unacceptable
to us and is a deal breaker for Windows 10 deployment. The largest part of the logon time is spent at the "Preparing Windows" phase of the first-time logon process. This issue is serious enough for us that we would consider skipping Windows
10 and sticking with Windows 7 if it is not drastically alleviated. Even Windows 7 first logons were not great, but we simply cannot accept how they are in Windows 10.

I have not noticed slow turn around with either Linux or Windows servers
so the client is step 1, then the server are looked at for policies that bottleneck

You need to set up an Apple ID for use with the iTunes Store before you can redeem anything in the iTunes Store. You don’t need to enter credit card information to redeem only the amount of a gift certificate or card.
