ProspectHD - AE CS4 gets error (0 :: 42) on startup

I tried installing ProspectHD trial with After Effects CS4 and I got (0 :: 42) error at opening after having working only once with it.
I searched web for code and forums and it said it`s preferences, OpenGL or pluggins.
I have desinstalled ProspectHD trial and fixed problem.
I`d like to know before buying if this (0 :: 42) bug is known and if it occurs often ?
I'm under Windows Vista 64-bit on a PC.

I managed to accidentaly fix it byt uninstalling all and clearing folder and installing prospect one last time to have it there for when I finally get someone to help me troubleshoot it for tech support. I tried logging in AE one last time and it was fixed !
I managed to open a few project files and work 3-4 hour with it.
I noticed 2 strange things:
1 -) When I scrub or go from frame to fram with Page Up/down, I only see 1 frame every 2 frames.
2-) I sometimes had black screen with artefacts of pink and white colors; they looked like inteferances on a video communication straight from a cheap
80s scifi TV movie.
Probably a codec related bugs.
One day later I open my project file click in a random place in timeline to see frame, I then get error (5065 :: 0) followed by 3 error (0 :: 42).
Then back to crashing upon opening.
Reading about error (5065 :: 0) it recalled me that the project was in full res display (my colorist was using this on his Mac with AE CS3 to display on his hdtv be fore I transfered corrected project to this current machine). Seems according to Mylenium's site that this can cause that bug.
I'll try to redo steps I did that caused my prospecthd to work, but this feels pretty flimsy, there's something deeper that remain unfix to have AE so unstable.

Try using Recovery Manager to reinstall the IDT HD Audio Driver ( this will also reinstall the Beats Audio interface ) - the procedure for using recovery manager to reinstall Software and Drivers is detailed in the document on the link below.

After the reinstallation has completed, restart the PC.

Could not complete your request because of a program error. Getting error message every time I open the program and try to do anything. Have to Force Quit to close. Using a Mac. Your expertise is appreciated!!

Have you tried removing all 3rd party plug-ins?
Also, resetting preferences to defaults may help... Press and hold Command - Shift - Option immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.

CS4 - Getting error when opening a .gif file - file-format module cannot parse the file.

I am getting this popup error when trying to open a .gif file:
"Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file."
This comes up every time I try to open a .gif file. Even if I make a .gif file (like the image included in this post), save it and then try to open it again, I get the same error. I tried reinstalling CS4, but the error is still there. I have also done the reset on start-up and nothing. Some have suggested that I open it in (Windows XP Pro) MS Paint and then save it again. Did it and this does NOT work for me, either.
I know it's a Photoshop problem because I can see this file everywhere, except Photoshop. It will open here, there and everywhere, except for Photoshop.
I've searched the Adobe Commmunity and it looks like no one has come up with a fix for this. I'm just currious after 5 years with this problem, has there been a solution?

Could this message be from your Yahoo! Mail Notifier extension? You may be able to clear or update its settings, or disable or remove it, on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then scroll down and check for an Options button for that extension.
You also can remove saved logins that are obsolete if the problem occurs on your home page (or one of your home pages):
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
On the Security panel, click the "Saved Passwords" button.

after searching in this forum I found the solution that works for me:
Run iTunes once as Administrator, this seems to fix the problem so that any following start of iTunes as normal user works just fine!

Getting Error 150:30 in Photoshop CS4

Had a HD crash and reinstalled CS4 on the new HD and get error 150:30.

Are you running LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app? That's for 10.6.8
If you type in the password, the cursor will not move or show dots. So you ignore that, simply type the password and press enter.

Go to Help > Configure Plugins... and make sure those listed in the first screen are listed and have a checkmark next to them to indicate they are active. That may fix the dictionary problem as well.
You may also need to reset the prefs. See Replace Your Preferences

I need to transfer CS4 from my old MacBook to my new one, but get error 150:30.

Have the discs, have the serial number, have the programs transferred to my external drive and even installed on the new Mac, but when I double-click to open any of the programs, I get error code 150:30 and cannot get the program open. What I'd like is to talk to someone at Adobe, or just to have my paid-for programs work on my new machine. I rely on them for my design business...help!

I should have been more clear that the very brand new computer is the drive-free MacBook Pro which doesn't allow me to just pop in the discs…I think I might have thought of that!
And actually, I just about to come back and report. Somewhere in all of my reading I saw that someone mentioned that when the CS4 folder is moved to the external drive (or other computer, however you're trying to do it), for whatever reason (bug? deliberate?) it leaves behind that one key FLEXNet Publisher folder that is an integral part of Adobe's "restore your license" process. So I did a search for that folder in my old MacBook's library, found it, copied it separately, then put it into the same folder on the new MacBook, restarted, and BAM! All of my CS4 started working without my even having to go through that Adobe process.
So, problem solved…hope this helps someone else who finds themselves in this position at this late date in the CS4 lifespan...

Terminate the process in task manager or turn off Minibridge in the PS prefs and restart your system.

The application was restored from a backup using Apple Time Machine.
I would reinstall the applications, since I have the original disks, but alas, the Mac Mini has no external drive.
Any ideas?

CS4 is untested and unsupported under 10.9.x
That said, you should uninstall everything run the cleaner tool and then download the CS4 installer and try it again.
If that doesn’t do it, you’re on your own.

Have you migrated to a new computer or something? 148:3 is usually an error with licensing/ activation.
Please explain your scenario more in detail. What OS are you on - Windows/ Mac? Have you upgraded your OS or switched to a new computer?

You still need to contact the manufacturer. You need to determine from them if they have drivers that support the OS that is currently installed on your comp or read the following KB Articles:

Having the same problem in CS6. I can tell you that converting back to CS4 will NOT solve the problem. It seems when support for backward compatibility is discontinued, there's just no way to get
