Protecting All Files In iPad/iPhone

Hi, I use Protected PDF files in Adobe Reader, and i have noticed that if the ipad is conected to any computer with iTunes, people can go and get those files.
I would like to know if there is any way (even with paid apps) that i can protect my iPad, from other people with iTunes in their computers, to read my files using itunes.

If you have iOS7 yes. In the mail list you tap 'edit' and then choose hte mails you want, then at the lower right you'll see the option to trash the mails.
If you do not have iOS7 then you cannot mass delete.

Cannot play Protected AAC files on my iPhone 5

I purchased a new iPhone 5 and have synced my music to it. However any purchased AAC files that are in iTunes will not play on my iPhone. They show up and when I try to play it will just skip to the next song it can play that is not the protected AAC file format. Purchased AAC files play fine. It is the Protected AAC which you find in the "kind" column. The new iPhone 5 is obviously running iOS 6.
I have an iPad 2 that is also running iOS 6 and it plays those Protected AAC files just fine.
Does this have something to do with the iPhone is not authorized? I had an iPhone 4 (not 4S) that I upgraded from. I sold the iPhone 4 so when I did I went into my account in iTunes and managed devices and removed the iPhone 4. I set up the iPhone 5 and put in my Apple ID, shouldn't it automatically authorize the phone to play these purchased songs? One interesting thing is if I look at my managed devices now in iTunes it says an iPhone 4S is associated with my apple ID. I've never had a 4S and the date it says the 4S was associated is the date I got my iPhone 5.
How can I play these files on my iPhone 5?

I'm having the exact problem with a track purchase on iTunes. Works fine on my 3rd gen iPad, but recently was dropped from my iPod touch (pre and post IOS 6).

Updating to IOS7 caused all files on iPad to disappear and restore from iTunes does not work

I recently updated my iPad to IOS7. Before doing so, I backed up the contents to iTunes. After completing the update, I found that the iPad has been completely cleared out of all files. .It is now completely empty and prompts for a new setup when I turn it on.
So naturally I tried to restore from iTunes. However, although the restore process appears to have completed, nothing changes at all on the iPad. It remains a blank slate.
Can someone please advise how I can recover my files? There are a lot of important photos I want to preserve. Perhaps I am missing some obvious step.

1. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
2. You will be asked twice if you want to erase iPad

Using 2 iPhone 4, iPad 2 3G wifi and a PC running windows 7. I seem to have several note folders in each devices. They all sync with exchange, but some are in my outlook notes, and some in my google notes....I would like to pull them all together as one file. Is there a way to export or import them? Thanks

How do i transfer all files from my Iphone 5 to a new computer?

I have recently had my computer crash will all my itunes backups on it. My iphone 5 still contains all my music and apps etc but i want to transfer all of this onto a new computer. I have looked up how to do it on apple and other websites but they all tell me what to do using the old version of itunes when i have to newest one, 11.1.3. I have authorised my computer and i am told to next click file > transfer purchases but i have no idea where that is.

How to open a password protected PDF file on the iPhone

I've got a PDF file that is password protected and I transferred it to my iPhone using Air Sharing. When I go to open it, it asks for the password which I enter, but then it closes the program and doesn't open the PDF. Any ideas? Thanks

Someone on another forum said you can with the app Goodreader Lite, but I haven't gotten to try it yet. I will let you know in about 45 minutes.

Yes. It's normal. Still photos sync via PhotoStream. Videos, regardless of how short they are, do not.

How do I put ALL files from my iphone on a new computer?

I have a new computer and I don't have my old one anymore. I had my iphone already when I had the old computer so I have a lot of files on it but now I wanna put my files on my new computer because I wanna put other things on my iphone again. When I try to do that on itunes it only takes the files that I bought with my phone on itunes and in the app store. The problem is that it won't take my photos or my other music and videos that I've put on it on my old computer. It has always beenv ery basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Copy everything frm your backup copy to your new computer.
The iphone is not a backup/storage device. It mirrors the selected content of the cmputer to which it is synced.
The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. You may be abel to purchase a third party program ( not supported by Apple) to retrieve other content.

Syncing m4b files to iPad / iPhone via iTunes

Wondering if anyone else ran into a problem syncing m4b files to their iPod/iPhone via iTunes. I was able to import these into iTunes with no issues, but when I try to transfer them to my iPod or iPhone, they do not show up in the list. Anyone knows why? I thought, m4b is Apple format. I was able to convert the files to mp3 and get them over that way, but that's a pain in the neck.

That particular Kbase article is the inverse of the question....
It describes device to computer transfers but says nothing about transferring from computer to device.
In fact, the implication from that article is that it CANNOT be done!

Why turning off Document and Data in iCloud would erase all files in iPad?

When turning off calendar or contact in iCloud, I can select to keep existing entries in the iPad device, but there is no option to "keep" doc. & data files in my iPad device? How can I select files I want to keep in iCloud rather than upload them in a "wholesale" fashion?

Hi doodlebuglondon. I understood you throughout the thread as I have the same situation. I turned it on, then decided immediately to turn it back off. It then gives you the scary warning, assuming you understand under what circumstances documents got stored in the iCloud. Like you, I had no idea. But I did see 5 GB of 5GB available on iCloud Storage, which was a hint. So I opened a folder with some Pages documents, turned off Documents & Data, clicked the big scary "Delete from Mac" button. If it had really deleted my iWorks documents, like you, I would have had to restore perhaps 40 or 50 disparate folders. Whew!
Did it work out OK for you? I note you were very clear in pointing out you hadn't actively put anything in iCloud, but who knows whether Apple magically puts stuff in iCloud for you. I couldn't find that explained anywhere in Apple's "instructions", but I'm sure it's buried in there somewhere.

Unable to sync all photos to iPad/iPhone

I'm trying to sync some photos but iTunes keeps telling me that selected photos cannot be copied to either my iPad or my iPhone. These photos display fine in iPhoto, and some of them were taken on the iPhone and then effects added with apps afterwards. The pop up gives me no more information as to why they cannot be copied. Anybody got any ideas?

I almost erased all files in my iPhone 5, and try to used erase all content and settings, just in case it would not take long to reboot. Still it is more than 3 hours and nothing happens.

More than three hours already and nothing happened. It's still totally black with circle at the middle. What can I do about this, please help me.
