03002199037You're attempting to go across SQL*Net. I'm a unix guy so I can't help very much except to point this out.
On Unix I'd either undefine the TWO_TASK environmental variable. Probably a reg entry on 2k.
Or configure Sql*Net.

Help about "ORA-03106: fatal two-task communication protocol error"
Hello.
After having changed some functions written in pro*C, I am getting "ORA-03106: fatal two-task communication protocol error", in the functions I have changed (all of them).
Can someone tell me what the problem can be ?
Tahnks in advance.The problem seems to be in pro*C code:
My pro*C function is like this:
int CSRIRDB_checkGT(char* in_CO_GT_V,
char* out_SQ_GZL_01)
int var_Error = CSRIRDB_OK;
char var_Sqlerrmc[2000];
char var_msg[512]; /* 512 es la longitud máxima del mensaje oracle incluyendo saltos de línea */
size_t var_buf_len, var_msg_len;
/* and the error is beacuse the following assignment */
:out_SQ_GZL_01 := to_char(v_SQ_GZL_01);
/* where v_SQ_GZL_01 is a NUMBER(5) */
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. -
B-channel oos and protocol error 510
Dear all,
I have some some issue couple of days ago. The telephony system of my client worked well and suddenly the cannot make external calls via E1. I checked the config and for me it seems to be ok. When I checked the SDL file, I can see the B channel out of service error message following by the
"MGCP PROTOCOL ERROR: <S1/SU1/DS1-0/[email protected]> CRCX error code: 510". They have A CUCM 6.0 and Cisco 2821 as gateway with 12.4 (25f) advance IP service IOS.
I perform the following actions without success:
-From the CUCM in the advance service I forced the Bchannel to bring it in service,
- no mgcp/mgcp, -reboot the CUCM and the Gateway,
-reset the controller throug CUCM,... in vain.
They contacted telco and has confirm that everything seems to be ok. Find below the information that can help you to undestand better

Thanks for your helpThe explanation for your syslog message is " The B-channel indicated by this alarm has gone out of service. Some of the more common reasons for a B-channel to go out of service include: Taking the channel out of service intentionally to perform maintenance on either the near- or far-end; MGCP gateway returns an error code 501 or 510 for a MGCP command sent from Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM); MGCP gateway doesn't respond to an MGCP command sent by Unified CM three times; a speed and duplex mismatch exists on the Ethernet port between Unified CM and the MGCP gateway"
Recommended action:
Check the Unified CM advanced service parameter, Change B-channel Maintenance Status to determine if the B-channel has been taken out of service intentionally; Check the Q.931 trace for PRI SERVICE message to determine whether a PSTN provider has taken the B-channel out of service; Reset the MGCP gateway; Check the speed and duplex settings on the Ethernet port. -

Can someone help me with these errors.
Thanks
luckyThank you Erland.
I dont see any crash dumps in sql server.I checked the tcp chimney and its set to automatic.I am not knowing what to look at to resolve this issue.
if its the issue with the client API can i ask our vendor to check the client?

Java.rmi.RemoteException: Protocol error reported by the card! why?
Hello,
I am currently trying to run the JCK 2.2.1 SecureRMIDemo using SmartCardIO instead of OCF, but getting an error:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Protocol error reported by the card
(in my last post I succesfully ran the RMIDemo using my SmartCardIO implementation, see http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5405634&tstart=15)
So here is what I did:
- I succesfully loaded the server app (com.sun.javacard.samples.SecureRMIDemo) on the card without changes.
- I created an new accessor class: public class PINCardAccessor extends SmartCardIOAccessor (I wrote SmartCardIOAccessor for the RMIDemo, it should work fine as an accessor)
- The contents of PINCardAccessor class and SecureOCFCardAccessor are the same, just the class declration makes the difference
- Here is the most important part of my main method:
ca = new PINCardAccessor(false);
JavaCardRMIConnect jcRMI = new JavaCardRMIConnect(ca);
jcRMI.selectApplet(appAID);
// send PIN
System.out.println("Sending PIN...");
if (! ((PINCardAccessor) ca).authenticateUser( PRINCIPAL_APP_PROVIDER_ID ))
System.out.println("Wrong PIN!");
System.exit(0);
Purse myServ = (Purse) jcRMI.getInitialReference();
if(myServ == null)
throw new Exception("Received null instead of the initial ref");
// print balance
System.out.println("Balance: "+myServ.getBalance());And finally here is the debug output:

thank you
sebastaianOh, thanks for pointing at the JCRE Spec, it is very informative, but i still have not found the problem yet.
If i understand everything right, the communication's flow is
SecureClient <-> PINCardAccessor <-> SmartCardIOAccessor <-> MySecurityService <-> SecurePurseImpl (with help of SecurePurseApplet)
probably i made a mistake in a protocol of one or more layers.
- MySecurityService, SecurePurseImpl and SecurePurseApplet are EXACTLY the one's from com.sun.javacard.samples.SecureRMIDemo of JCDK 2.2.1, so there cant be any mistake (?).
- SmartCardIOAccessor worked fine in my RMIDemo tests, see http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5405634&tstart=15 - there is also the implementation)
- SecureClient must be obviously correctly
so maybe it's something about PINCardAccessor? hmm...i havent found anything, but here is the complete code:

Please help me
Thank in advancehi everyone,
Could you please take a look at the following code?.
I'm having some trouble with it. The problem is the
following: I have to access to the code of a web page
in order to perform different actions depending on it
content, but in order to get to that page firs I have
to login the server. [...]Hi,
I have similar work to domaybe that helps or not, I cannot tell up to now because I haven't tested it yet already.
Have a look at the static function java.net.Autheticator.setDefault(java.net.Autheticator); as far as I have understood this function does install a fixed object providing HTTP accesses with a user/password pair. I tried it, and it works to fetch a password protected WEB page. I don't know what happens after that, if new pages are correctly authentified or not. -

The only search on google that I found on this is to uninstall IIS and Lync web components and reinstall. Which I tried, but Lync web components wouldn't install back (error), so I restored server back from the snapshot and back to square one..
Also tried https://www.testocsconnectivity.com to run test on mobile autodiscovery and got this:
ExRCA is attempting to obtain the SSL certificate from remote server lyncdiscover.sipdomain.com on port 443.
ExRCA wasn't able to obtain the remote SSL certificate.
Additional Details
The certificate couldn't be validated because SSL negotiation wasn't successful. This could have occurred as a result of a network error or because of a problem with the certificate installation.
Is there anything else I can look into to find out why am I getting these errors? Maybe to try OCS logging utility? But I don't know which components to checkmark for logging..
Thank you for any help and Happy New Year!
SergeyHi,
It seems the web service url is not valid or the web service not function. Is it Lync Standard Edition or Enterprise? Did the mobility issue also happen for external? Have you assigned a public certificate for reverse proxy correctly?
1. Please go to topology builder and check which FQDN you did put in for internal and external web service. For Lync Server Standard Edition, the internal web base URL should be same with your front end server FQDN.
If the internal domain name is different with external domain name, for example, your internal domain is contoso.net, but your external domain name is contoso.com. The external base URL should use the contoso.com domain name.
2. Please make sure the certificate has been assigned on front end server successfully. Please go to Lync Server deployment wizard to check it.
3. In IIS, please make sure Lync Server Internal Web Site is configured on ports 80 and 443 and Lync Server External Web is configured on ports 8080 and 4443.
More details about configuring reverse proxy for your reference:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/9807.configuring-forefront-tmg-2010-as-reverse-proxy-for-lync-server-2010.aspx
If the issue persists, please try to enable logging tool and reproduce the issue to get report for further troubleshooting.

at ...ORA-03106
========
Possible reasons for the ORA-03106 errors include:
1. Incompatibilities between the client application and the RDBMS server.
For
example, version incompatibilities, or a client trying to use a feature not
supported by the database kernel.
2. When using database links or gateways.
3. Network or SQL*Net problems.
4. Corruptions.
5. PL/SQL - language related.
RDBMS - Troubleshooting two-task common errors
==============================================
1. Check for NLS incompatibilities between the client and server. This is
a very popular cause of the ORA-03106 error.
2. Check the alert log and RDBMS trace files for any pertinent information /
errors that coincide with receiving the ORA-03106 error.
3. Try to get a testcase and reproduce the problem in-house.
4. If a testcase is not possible, ask for SQL*Net trace files, SQL traces,
and
try setting event 3106 to obtain the error stack.
5. In extreme circumstances, this could indicate that a shared memory
segment
used by Oracle is corrupted. You will have to shut down the database,
possibly using the abort option. Make sure all semaphores have been
released by using the IPCS command on Unix. Oracle uses semaphores to
control concurrency between all of the background processes (pmon, smon,
drwr, lgwr, and oracle shadow processes). Semaphores are also used to
control Two-Task communication between the user process and the shadow
process.
6. Try and narrow down the code that may be causing it. For example it might
have started to happen after increasing the number of parameters in a PL/SQL
block or when using certain values for bind variables, etc.
7. If we still do not make headway, file a bug under RDBMS, but we still may
need some or all of the above information as indicated above
hope it helps!!

When we try to do some select statements from the database, we

The variable TWO_TASK is defined to our tnsnames.ora entry.
If the select statement returns only one row, there is no error.
I've no idea what's happening.
Can anyone help?
