Problem in adding Custom Provider for Work Management Service

I'm facing an issue in adding custom provider for work management service. As you are aware, Work management service is a Provider model and we
can integrate with other systems by adding custom providers. So with that confidence, i have started writing a connector as mentioned below.
Step - 1: Added new provider xml in the below path

Step – 3: Written a class to fetch the tasks from BizAgi System which has method to provide the task data.
But I’m not able to feed those tasks in the class written in Step – 2 as I’m able to find any method which will take Tasks as Input and I’m not
sure about the format of tasks.
I’m able to debug the provider, and the breakpoint hitting in only one method and two properties.
(LocalizedProviderName, ProviderName, GetDashboardExtensionInfo).
Can you please help me to proceed further in implementing the above solution?

Hi Mahesh,
Although the implementation of work management service application is based on the provider model, I reckon the current SP 2013 RTM does not support custom providers. Only SharePoint task lists, Project server and MS Exchange are supported for now.

I used jwsdp ea2 for developing the JAXM client. I'm confused by the exception, because I used ProviderConnection and got an exception for Local Provider (SOAPConnection).

Now i am also trying to send ebXml messages using JAXM provider connection.I have configured provider connection using provider admin tool.
But getting an error as follows

My jwsdp version is 1_0_01. I think in 1.2 there is no support for JAXM right?

Ok, so are you saying that your Internet is or isn't working? Does it work if you plug your computer directly into your computer and bypass the router (make sure you power cycle the modem when you do this)? If it is working this way, then a new modem isn't going to solve a problem with your Internet not working. If it is going slow (try running a speedtest) then you need to call your phone company to have them take a look at why your Internet is slow. If it runs fine this way and then slows back down when you go back through your router there is something else going on. Try unplugging both the modem and the router, let the modem fully sign back in and connect to the Internet, after it gets signed in, plug your router in, and then after it boots up fully, try running the speedtest again...See if that helps any? Sometimes it's just an IP conflict that happens when the dynamic IP that is assigned by your Internet Service Provider changes and the change doesn't flow smoothly.

I do receive emails into my iMac for which I have 3 email accounts but am struggling on how synchronise between iMac and iPad so that both are up to date at all times. I have also set up a iCloud email account thinking this was the way to go but have drawn a blank.

I have set up my email address both within my iMac and my ISP as IMAP accounts and I receive all emails without problem on my iMac. I have also set up an iCloud email address using my iMac.
I have enabled the email within "setting" on my iPad and have used the iCloud account. I have sent emails from the iMac to iPad using the iCloud account address and vice versa. I have also sent emails from the iPad to the iMac using my non-iCloud email address and they have gotten through.
The one thing I would like to have is for the iPad "mail" mailboxes to mimic the iMac "mail" mailboxes and both to be "in sync". I am not really interested in using the iCloud email address for my email but would really like to use my "normal" addresses as these are what most people know me by.
Do I need to set additional accounts within the iPad which are the same as the email accounts I have within the iMac and my ISP? I have reached the end of my knowledge as regards email synchronsing.

Is there a way to use/fix FLVPlayback skins provided with the product?

Some of the "skins" for the FLVPlayback component cannot be used as delivered in the Flash Professional CS5 package.
For instance, if you try simply to run the .swf file: MinimaSilverPlayBackSeekCounterVolMuteFull.swf in Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Flash CS5/Common/Configuration/FLVPlayback skins/ActionScript 3.0, you get the following error message:
VerifyError: Error #1014: Class fl.video::UIManager could not be found.
Such a skin cannot be used in a published application (though it will work within the Flash IDE in Test mode).
Not all the skins have this problem. However, at least all of the Minima prefixed ones do. Of course the one I wish to use is broken. Is there a way I can fix this? If I try to publish the corresponding .fla (in FLVPlayback skins/FLA/Action Script 3.0 I get "Warning: unable to load SWC FLVPlaybackAS2.swc".

Well I don't really understand the position you are taking here. Did you try to run the examples I gave?
I will be a sport, though, and back up here and explain more fully.
I had originally built a rather trivial application to experiment with the FLVPlayback component. I did this with AS-3, by the way.
As I tried different skins I found, strangely, that when I used one of the Minima ones (for instance, the one that I listed several times above), that it would run fine in the IDE in test mode, however when I ran the published application it would not run correctly. It generated instead this error message about the fl.video class not being found.
In trying to determine the cause of this, I found that this same error would be generated, just by trying to run the Minima skin (swf) in the Flash player by itself. And sure enough those skins that did NOT have the problem with my trivial app also did not generate any error when the swf was run in the Flash player.
So, as you hopefully can see, I took my application out of the equation here. The question of interest is why do some of the unmodified swf skin files generate the class not found error and can they be fixed (or is there anything I can do to fix them) so that error does not happen. I had even tried to use the original FLA file for the skin (as I described in my earlier post) and recompile it. However that caused a compile error (listed in the original post) that is indicative of some AS2 being mixed in, possibly from some sub-component.
So I guess all I was hoping for was that you would try to run the AS3 Minima...swf skin listed earlier straight from the product installation. Just run it with the Flash player. If it doesn't generate the error for you then perhaps there is something odd about my CS5 installation, or environment, or ...
If you don't want to try this, that is your perogative. Perhaps someone else can/will. Or perhaps I can submit this as a bug? (I do not know the mechanism for that)

Task Table in Custom DB as provider in Work Management Service?

I have a task table on a SQL 2008 Database (with usual task columns like assigned_to, task_title, status etc).
I understand that custom providers are unsupported for WMS.
Is it possible to create an External List (BCS) connecting to the SQL task table and use that as a provider for WMS?

ORA-01019 using XE Client OLE Provider, sqlplus works

we use Oracle Express Edition and the Oracle XE Client software.On the Client (Windows 2000) we are not able to connect via OLE DB in some case. We tested it by placing and test.udl File on the Windows Desktop and configured and tested the Provider in there. When we click the TestButton, ORA-01019 comes up.
We tried the workaround, that is described in Metalink for the 10.1 Client (Setting the privileges on the Filesystem) but it doesn't work.
Any idea?

Any idea?Probably it's a workaround for normal Client not for XE Client which is based on Instant Client.

Is sony dash still a working product?

FLICKR is gone and I can't get Picassa or FB to work for pics. It just seems like the Dash has gone so far downhill that it may not even be a supported product anymore.

The browser will attempt to gather a username and password if the following is in web.xml:

In fact, any authentication method is going to want to pass a username and password to the authentication provider. You could use FORM authentication and you MIGHT get around this by designing a login form that doesn't need user input, but that probably isn't a good idea. I suspect that you need to meet your requirement by some means other than the authentication framework.
A token passed in the url would become a parameter to the page - maybe you just need to code a welcome page that takes that parameter, validates it, then stores the fact that a valid token was furnished in a session bean, or a sessionScope variable. Then code the application so that nothing but an error page appears until a valid token is sent.

Service provider doesnt work

ERS - MRRL - Not working Production Client

While executing the transaction MRRL, it is generating a list of items, which are already posted. It is generating the list which does not have a status as postable.
It is observed that some of the documents are already cleared and some are partially cleared.
After up-gradation from 4.6c Version to ECC 6.0, we are facing this issue.
