I have been searching for a manual, too. It's disappointing that the Creative Labs web site doesn't even seem to acknowledge that this excellent product ever existed. I suspect that hell will freeze over before they take the trouble to offer a replacement manual (or even any advice) for a discontinued product. I managed to find one here:

Are user manuals available for download for Encore CS5 and Premiere pro

I've been told that there are user manuals for Premiere Pro and Encore CS5, but I've spent considerable time trying to locate where to download them from. I've found then from what appear to be third party entities, but I have trouble trusting many of them. Doesn't Adobe offer them? I've tried searching their website, but come up with nothing. I don't doubt that it is in there somewhere, but they don't exactly manke it easy to find.

Leopard Server - Can I link the users calendar to wiki?

Is it possible to link the user calendar to the wiki and not the group calendar.

AFAIK, this is not possible.
The user calendar does not have a GUID associated with it. Even if you add the link to a wiki page as an http:// reference there is no way to authenticate to it.
The wiki uses the GUID to reference a logged in user to the group and therefore access to the calendar. In the user calendar case the wiki can't authenticate to it.
Additionally, user calendars are stored in calendar/users directory and not in the calendar/groups directory. As separate locations the two areas do not correspond and for the same reason.

One User ID with 2 BPs and 2 CPs

Hi,
1) I have created an User ID U1 using users_gen. So system created CP1 and BP1 . I could logon.
2) Deleted the user assignment and position
3) Again created an user ID U1 using users_gen. So system created CP2 and BP2. I could logon.
Now I want to link the user ID U1 to CP1 and BP1.
Is it possible ?

Hi. What version of SRM are you using?
If you have SRM 4 or below, then you can go to PPOMA_BBP and find the position of the user, then right click and select assign.
It will then let you assign a BP of your choice to the position.
Then you can right click the BP and select assign again, and assign the user of your choice.
From what I can see in SRM 5 this has changed, as the relationship to BP is not visible in PPOMA_BBP any more.
You can try and do it in SRM 5 and assign the CP, it might bring all the links through, but I am not sure.

Are there any versions of the portal that have native support for communications to Web Services? Is it going to be eventually possible to dynamically discover channels via a discovery method like UDDI?

Currently no, in the next release we have preliminary support for web services and there might be web services provider but eventually no time frame yet we do plan to support UDDI ..

Sun Java Web Server and IPlanet

Are there any issues with running IPlanet and Sun Java Web Server at the same time. The old Web-site are in Servlet format and the new Web site will be deployed with a .war file, so I would like to run both at the same time until I have customized the new Sun Java Web Server instance. Is this possible and if so are there any issues with running them at the same time?

You can install iPlanet Web Server and Sun Java System Web Server on the same Solaris system, provided that each server is installed to a separate directoy. If each server is configured to listen on a different port and/or IP address, the two servers can run concurrently without problem.

The changes made in the WAD web template is not replicating on web browser

We are using BI 7.0 WAD. Suppose if i create a one web template and if i run it ...it is working fine.
If i change the present web template and if i do change anything on the present web template and if run this web template it is giving the previous result....it is not reflecting the present changes.
The changes made in the WAD web template is not replicating on web browser result.
I went to transaction SMICM, then choose "Goto" from the top menu. From there, go to HTTP Server Cache, then choose Invalidate, then choose Global in system. With this thing also it didnt slove.

Calling a Web Service in CRM . Is WEB UI the right place ?

Dear Friends,
We have some ECC Web Service to read some BP related data available on ECC.
I would like to red this ECC- BP Data in CRM using a readily available Web Service and then disply on WEB UI.
I know how to create a web service in SAP CRM using the new WEB SERVICE tool as well as the old ways of creating a Web Service ( throgh WSADMIN which is obsolete now) . I also know how to cosume web service in a Word Template or Adobe form...
What i dont know and would like to you experrts to help me know is
How can i consume a web service in CRM and read the data on ECC for which this web service is exposed ?
Is it possible to do it in WEB UI or there is any other way ?
Any help in making me understand how to consume a web service in SAP CRM ( to read and use data in WEB UI and not word template or Adobe) is greatly appreciated.
Looking forward for replies.

Just to add.
WAD templates are stored as HTML in the HTTP cache.
Whenever you make changes to the template - it is good practice to delete / invalidate the HTTP Server cache.
This can be done from
SMICM --> Goto (menu bar ) --> HTTP Server cache --> Invalidate --> GLobal
ust to make this thread complete..
However this is usually done for 3.x web templates since they run off the ABAp stack - not too sure about the JAVA stack - guess portal cache has to be cleared too..

AWP and "Mark Of The Web"

I'm trying to add the "mark of the web" to the pages that run
the web player and it causes the web player not to run for me. All
I get is an outline box where the player should be. If I take that
code out, it works as normal. Any ideas?
