Providing discounts to the new product.

I need to end the old product and create new product for same contract. I have created new line item through crm_order_copy. Updated the new product details and maintained in the crm_order_maintain.
Now my problem is to provide the discounts to the new product.
Could any one please help...?

Is there a way to view the new product notifications after installing the application?

When you install LabWindows/CVI or any other NI application you may receive new prduct notifications containing critical warnings or any other type of notifications. For CVI 2009 a critical warning is displayed suggesting to download and install a patch. In my case I chose to ignore the warning and continue with my installation without downloading the patch or creating a copy of the download link first.
After I finish installing I wanted to download the patch but I realized there is not an easy way to display the new product notifications from LabWindows/CVI.
My only options at this time was to search under the online support page or re-run the installer to get the link.
I think that it would be nice to have a menu item under help->web links->new product notifications that would take you to the list of notifications for your application.
If you know of an easy way to access the new product notifications from LabWindows CVI, please let me know. Am I missing something?

Hey Antonio,
That's a good suggestion, and it's something that we're already planning on addressing in the next release, probably via a service that you can use to view information about patches and notifications -- not only the ones that were known at the time that you installed, but also ones that might have come into existence since then.

Not from Apple for direct purchase. Schools can buy them in bulk for a discount (10% off when buying ten, I think).

I've recently changed my network provider. iTunes recognized the new number and amended it in iTunes. My original number is now available but iTunes won't accept it or allow me to change the number on the device. How can I resolve this?

I have just changed my telophone provider in the UK from )2. To transfer the number, which I wanted to retain, took 24 hours and I was given a new number by the new provider Virgin Mobile. To unblock my iPhone I had to connect it to iTunes, which recognised my device and changed the telephone number. 24 hours later, my old number returned but iTunes won't recognise the device or allow me to change the number back to the original. How do I reslove this?

If you only changed the name of your ID rather than creating a new ID, just go to Settins>iCloud and tap Delete Account then sign back in with the new name. (Deleting the account from your phone does not delete it from iCloud. Your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.)
If you created a new ID, you'll have to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
You won't lose any photos in your camera roll or photo library. If you have any photos in your photo stream that are over 30 days old that are not in your camera roll or saved on your computer, be sure to save these to the camera roll before deleting the account. To do so, open the photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you need to save to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.

How to make the new products on SLD to show on the PI?

We have a PI7.0 connected to a remote centralized SLD.
Whenever there is a new product on the SLD , we want to have it show up at the PI7.0.
We do not know how to make it happen.
What we know is (perhaps) once a new product is installed on the PI, SE70 will inform SLD about this.

As you are mentioning that SLD has been connected to PI7.0 No special mechanism is requred to access products .Every thing that is created in SLD will be in synchronised automaticaly and you will be able to see them in IR(ex.Import ing sofware compnent from SLd).

How to synchronize the new product I bought

I ordered ER suite 7.0 from palm store. I've been trying to synchronize it to my handheld palm tx but it's not working. I remember I downloaded a trial pack of ER suite 7.0 which is already expired. I cannot enter my new device ID to have my newly bought product working.

Is the trial version still on your TX? You may want to delete the trial version on the handheld and then try to install the paid version.
Go to the home screen on your TX. Tap in the upper left corner. Select delete, then scroll down to find the program. Highlight the application and tap on delete.
Once you delete the trial verrsion, use quick install or install to sync the new program to the TX.

Hi, i know this question is not in the right place but I live in Peru and I need to know this because I save a lot of money in the new Macbook.
There is a company who certificates if u are a international student whit a International Student Identity Card whit endorsement of UNESCO, it works for me in Europe for somethings but can i use this identity Card for the educational discount in the USA AppleStore????

It is my understanding that many people have been able to get the Education Discount at the Apple store.
I have been to the Apple Store in Des Moines, Iowa on two separate occasions and spoke to two separate people who have told me that I can only get my discount online or through my book store at Iowa State University. I feel Passbook should be on new iPad, because even if surfing web, and you have all information with you on the iPad and not have to get purse to look for individual information. It makes sense to provide it for the new iPad. PLEASE!

Where is the 17" MBP in the new product line?

I hope that Apple plans on making a 17" MBP with the new features, including the screen and thinner and lighter like the other sizes. Otherwise that will just suck!
15.4" is nice, but 17" screen is just that much better. With the higher resolution, it would be awesome.

The death of the 17inch form factor is not a good thing. I mean who cares about having high resolution if in order to read the text you need a magnifying glass because the screen is so much smaller. This will have such a crippling effect on me that not only will I have to look to a PC solution I also have to give up my my Apple Pro Apps like 'Final Cut Studio'.
The 17inch was the perfect pro level note book for running edit software and taking on location for downloading footage directly into the system via the express card slot. It was big enough to work off without the need to carry around an additional screen.
The 15 inch is just not useable without carrying a plethora of external accessories and even then working your with a smaller screen so not as much real estate. If I want to adjust the screen settings so I do have the same amount of real estate i can add the magnifying glass to the kit. Also no audio jack in. I guess you could take audio in via USB but only 2 ports by god what a laugh and what the **** is with no ethernet port Bwahahaha. surly they could have fit one of those in. I mean at present it's the fastest most stable means of connecting and now we're asked to buy a peripheral to make it happen. what a joke.
It's a real shame and i am extremely saddened by this move. In some small way i am still praying that a 17 inch will be released later down the line because i've been using the MBP since it was released and updated it every 2 years but I won't be buying a 15" as it just doesn't suit my needs. Also no update to the Mac Pro's in years and the fact that I will have to give up Apple Pro apps for AVID as a result of this means I will be retiring most of my Apple machines. I guess Apple just no longer has an interest in the pro market so as far as i'm concerned, "so long Apple it's been nice knowing you"

They just announced that Apple is Closed this week for the new product roll out

They just said in the keynote address that ALL Apple engerneers are at the roll out of the new prodcuts being announced and Apple will be closed for the rest of week. GUYS YOU EMAIL SERVICE IS DOWN and you should probably fix it. It's to bad that you have to send a couple engerneers back to work but sure would nice.

They are not exactly free on the new devices either. iMovie and iPhoto are included, when you buy a new device. You're purchase price for your older devices did not include the apps, so you have to buy them, sorry.

Feasibility for a new production system in the same environment

Dear friends,
Our management has come up with a requirement of expansion of SAP environment to cover up users in a different country for their francise over there. The options we are considering are below:
1. Implementing a whole new setup ( ECC, EP,BI, PI,Trex).
2. Expanding the lease lines between the sites in both the countries and providing access to the present setup itself with enhancement in the current hardware configuration.
or is it a good practice to keep a new Production system in the other country and add a new delivery route for the new production system within the current transport route ? How the license part may be taken care in these cases ?

Hi Sujit,
The answer to this question really depends on whether the new country is going to share much of the same configuration with some tailoring to local laws and requirements. If the system is going to be the same, then there is now reason to deploy a new system unless you are reaching technical limits for hardware. For ease of management and usage, then having one system is preferred. You can then upgrade your network to cope with the increased load and hardware as required.
