Provisioning Calendar to a user causes them to lose their local calendar

Hi,
Does anyone know of a workaround for the following situation?
- After provisioning Calendar to a user who previously was using an Oracle email account through the Connector, when opening up the existing profile in Outlook (after entering the Calendar server details) their previous local Calendar, Tasks, Notes and Contacts are lost.
- I realise that you can export them to a pst file but that has to be done manually and is not a realistic solution for us since we have a large number of users in this situation (i.e. we would require an automated fix).
Yay or nay woud suffice :)

Surprisingly, this morning all calendars showed up in my iPhone. Apparently there is a delay.
But now there is another issue with the error:
"The server responded with an error.
Access to “event from years ago” in “the second added calendar” in account “local” is not permitted.
The server responded:
“403” to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation."
[Ignore] [Try Again] [Revert to Server]
Each event starting with the beginning of that calendar (years ago) seems to generate an error. It will take a day to click on Ignore for all those events.
Will ask this in a new thread. For now the issue this thread is about is solved, thank you. I also updated my profile, except for my iPad. No 'edit' option next to that one. Strange.

  • Animating PNG causes them to lose transparency.

    Basically in AS 3.0 I have PNG's loaded in loader classes as
    children of Sprites on the stage.
    The PNG's look fine, but then I have certain actions
    triggering animations of the sprites (sliding from point a to point
    b using some math, repeated in a Timer).
    Everythign is fine initially even through the animation
    process, but when the Sprite reaches its destination, all
    transparency for the PNG is lost. The edges become very sharp, and
    in the case of having a 50% transparency over the whole image, the
    image becomes 100% alpha upon stopping its animation. Is there a
    known cause, workaround or fix for this?

    As a check, I tried replacing all Sprites on the stage with
    MovieClips, and the same behavior happened, so that rules out
    sprites as being the issue.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Whenever my mac connects to the wifi all the other users in my house lose their connection

    Whenever my mac connects to my wifi it throws the rest of my household off of the internet and they can't connect until about 10 minutes after i turn my mac off. It's only my mac book pro that seems to cause this problem.
    I've gone through and deleted the safari extentions and tried so many things, but can't solve this problem. can anyone help please?

  • The icons on my Google toolbar keep changing position and the stock indicators (7 of them) all lose their original references and point to Nasdaq. How do I keep my settings from changing like this?

    I recently added the Google toolbar to Firefox and set it up the way I had it using IE with my favorite web sites followed by 7 stock indicators each pointing to a different company. I have this on two separate computers and in both cases the order of the icons changed and the stock indicators all changed to point to Nasdaq. I corrected this on my system at home but do not know at this time whether it has happened again.

  • It seems my "passed" events in my calendar are not on my iphone anymore...Is there a setting I have changed that caused them to disappear?  They do still appear on my Outlook calendar on my pc?  How can I get them to show up on my iphone again?

    Events that are in the past do not appear on my calnedar on my iphone.  Have I possibly changed a setting that caused them to disappear?  Can I get them back on my iphone as they do still appear on my Outlook calendar on my PC?

    Settings> Mail, Contacts, Calendars> in Calendar section change the Sync setting.

    Depends how they were transferred. If you used Migration Assistant, a new user was created. Look there in your documents folder. If you used Setup Assistant, look in your documents folder.

  • Exchange 2013 Hybrid with O365 - migrated user causes admin restart prompt for multiple other users

    Greetings!  We are in the process of doing some testing and migration in a hybrid deployment with Office365 and Exchange on premise.
    I just completed a migration for an on-premise user.  We have, so far, migrated 3 users in the IT department as initial testing.  The first two migrations were very cut and dry.  The third migration; as soon as I finalized the batch, multiple
    people on our team received messages about having to restart Outlook.  These were users that had not been migrated and were not part of any migration batch, but were members of the same department.  I am trying to understand, under what circumstance
    could a migration of a user cause other users who are still on premise to receive the "admin made changes" prompt in Outlook.

  • How to create a pdf form allowing Reader user to insert picture - NOT from their local hard drive - but from photos I want them to choose from?

    Is there a way to create a PDF form where a Reader user can insert an image - that's NOT on their local hard drive?
    I have 4 photos available - the users of my form will choose one of them and insert it in the pdf form. The users will NOT have the photos saved on their local hard drives so ideally, they will see thumbnails or a preview of the available photos and then select and insert the photo they want to use.
    Is this possible? If so, how do I go about this? Right now, all I can find are ways to insert a photo located on the users local hard drive.
    Hopefully someone can answer my question.

    George, I'm not sure where the photos would go or how to include them. I'm a complete newbie when it comes to making pdf forms so i'm not sure if it's even possible.
    I'm planning to make a flier. I want the end user to be able to choose the photo displayed on the flier - the photos would be ones that I choose and supply. I know I could just make four different fliers, but I thought it would be more efficient if I had one flier and gave the Reader user the ability to select the photo they like.
    Does this sound possible to you?

    Sometimes windows pop up behind the browser and I don't know about them, causing them to be the last ones I close. So Mozilla remembers them and it forgets the main window with all the tabs that I thought was being saved! The history button only remembers 3 and that's not enough in these cases.

    If you wish to retain all the tabs for next time do not close down the Windows individually. Just minimise them if you need them out of the way.
    When you close Firefox use use the Firefox menu to quit the Firefox program.

  • Lotus Notes Connector: Resource is provisioned but the Create User task...

    I am getting some problems with the Lotus Notes Connector. The resource is provisioned but the Create User task is rejected. In the Lotus Notes server log, there is no problem and the account was created successfully.

    I figured out the problem... Wrong configurations. See what I did:
    a) Reviewed the explanation below about the paramater certifierOU of Lotus Notes ITRes, so I set it to empty.
    certifierOU Specifies the OU of the certifier to be used when creating user accounts If you use a certifier on the target system, then you must specify the certifier OU value. If
    you do not have a certifier on the target system, then leave this parameter field empty.
    If there are multiple certifiers on the target system, then you must create one IT resource (of the Lotus Notes IT resource type) for each certifier. Refer to Oracle Identity Manager
    Design Console Guide for information about creating IT resources. If you specify a value for the certifierOU parameter, then the user OU value that you specify on the process form is ignored during the creation of a DN for a new user account.
    If you do not specify a value for the certifierOU parameter, then the user OU value that you specify on the process form is used in the DN. This feature ensures that only one OU value
    is included in the DN.
    If you specify a value for the certifierOU IT resource parameter, then user records for which the certifier OU value in the DN does not match the certifierOU parameter value are not
    reconciled. This is because the user DN is used to match records in the target system and Oracle Identity Manager, and a difference in the certifier OU value would lead to a
    mismatch in DN values. The following example illustrates this type of scenario:
    Suppose a user account on Lotus Notes has the following DN:
    CN=John Doe/OU=testcertou/O=test/C=US
    If testcertou has not been assigned as the value of the certifierOU parameter for any of the IT resources created on this Oracle Identity Manager installation, then the records of this
    user cannot be reconciled into Oracle Identity Manager.
    Sample value: NY
    b) The MailServer paramater was win2k3base/oimdev and I've changed it to CN=win2k3base/O=oimdev.
    c) As the certifierOU is clear now, so I have to inform the Orgnation Unit field in the process form.

    is there a way of Getting list of all the resources that have been provisioned to a particular user through API provided with OIM.
    i can to do it through a SQL query but wanted to know if its possible through the OIM API , basically i will pass in the userkey and it should give me list of all the resources that have been provisioned to the user and are enabled.

    Give it more than a week! I'm sure there are limitations,
    just like anything, there are limitations, but I think you can get
    over these particular issues. I'll be honest, I don't know the
    answers, right now, but I think a good place to start would be the
    Flex Style Explorer example (for the themes).

    They manage to do some of what you want, I'm sure you can
    work out the rest. With all of what you're looking for, I'd guess
    it can be achieved with data binding (the source of the CSS, which

    If you have a backup of your iPhone on either iCloud or iTunes from the time when those photos were on the Camera Roll, you can restore from that backup and recover those photos. Please use the following article for information on restoring from backups.

  • Deleted users cause conflicts with new users

    If I delete a user in WGM and renove their home folder from the sharepoint, I get a conflict error if I try to create a brand new user with the same name (shortname) as the deleted user/s. I'm not using the Mail service at all in OS X Server.
    Where else do I search for user records to purge?

    1. Go to WGM > WGM Menu > Preferences > turn on 'Show all records tab and inspector"
    2. Click on the 'target' symblol tab that appears next to the users/groups/computers tab in teh laft-hand, lower pane.
    3. Select Users from the pulldown menu under the tabs
    Is the shortname you deleted listed here? If so delete from here, then re-add.
