Proxy-Not able to read from socket for browser IE only for authorized sites

Hi,
I have implemented proxy server using socket connection. For Mozila it works properly, but not for IE.
First it asks for proxy authentication, after providing the username and password for proxy in mozila its asks authentication for the authorized sites and its working properly. But in IE it just ask for proxy authorization and gives error as "you are not authorised to view this page" internally when I went through the code only first time its able to read the request and gives the response, but for the authorized site it wont ask for the username and password. After some time it throws the "Socket connection: reset" exception.
Creates the connection:-
               while(running){
                    try{
                         clientSocket = serverSocket.accept();
                                }catch(SocketException se){
                                        se.printStackTrace();
                               try{
                         new HttpClientConnectionHandler(sockCon);
                    } catch(IOException se) {
                                         se.printStackTrace();
                               }Sends requests and gets the response:-
boolean continueSession = true;
          try{
            SCConnectionManager.increementConnCount();
          while (continueSession){
                    continueSession=false;
                HttpHeader request = rqHandler.getRequest();
                    String con = request.getHeaderValue ("Connection");
               boolean clientPersistentConnection = false;
                    String pcon = request.getHeaderValue ("Proxy-Connection");
                    System.out.println("request = "+request.toString());
                    if( ( request.getHTTPVersion().equalsIgnoreCase("HTTP/1.1")
                                        && !( pcon.equalsIgnoreCase("close") ) )
                              || ( request.getHTTPVersion().equalsIgnoreCase("HTTP/1.0")
                                && ( pcon.equalsIgnoreCase("Keep-Alive") ) ) ){
                              //tempComment     debug("CLIENT Keeping connection true !!!!!! ");
                         clientPersistentConnection = true;
                resHandler.Handle(request);     // Returns boolean ...can check its value...
                         if ( clientPersistentConnection == true && resHandler.connectionPersistent == true ) {
                                   //tempComment
                              debug("SERVER Keeping connection true !!!!!! ");
                              continueSession=true;
                              if ( resHandler.surfAsServer == true ) {
                                   client.setTimeout( persistentConnectionClientReadTimeout );
                         debug("CONTINUING CLIENT CONNECTION "+continueSession);
               System.out.println("out of while loop continue sess = "+continueSession);
          }catch(IOException ioe){
               log(ioe);
               if(qlc.qsm.log.Logger.debugOut) {
                    ioe.printStackTrace();
          } finally {
               synchronized( this ) {
                    int connCount = SCConnectionManager.decreementConnCount();
                SCConnectionManager.updateLastRequestTime();
               close();
     }It does not come out of above while loop.

Sorry, while copy the code one line was missing.
code is:-
while(running){
                    try{
                         clientSocket = serverSocket.accept();
                          } catch (SocketException se) {
                          se.printStackTrace();
                         continue;
                    }catch(IOException se){
                                   continue;
                    try{
                                   SocketConnection sockCon=new SocketConnection(clientSocket);
                                    new HttpClientConnectionHandler(sockCon);
                               } catch(IOException se) {
                         se.printStackTrace();
                                         if ( clientSocket != null ) {
                              try {
                                   clientSocket.close();
                              } catch ( Exception exc ){
                                   clientSocket = null;
                              decrementHttpCount();

    Kevin,
    For manual Proviosioning - It works fine.
    It fails when I create user in OIM using flat file GTC . I have an access policy to auto proviosion that user with ldap.
    As mentioned before, I notice none of the prepops on Ldap process form are able to read value from Xel user form.
    Steps I tried Already:
    1- Checking access policy
    2-remapping process form adapters
    Pls. let me know ur thoughts.

  • Not able to read the wsdl file from server Premature EOF encounter

    Hi All,
    I am facing issue while accessing a web Service from server. Here is the clear view about it.
    I created a simple SyncBpel process in a composite and deployed in to the server and it is working fine. Later i created a new Asyn bpel process in a composite and in the external reference i dragged a web Service and imported the wsdl url from server of the SyncBpel and wired the Asynbpel process to webserive .
    Now here i am facing peculiar behavior which i am not able to trace it out.
    1) For the first time when i import the url of syncBpel from the server i am not facing any error and it is working fine as expected but when i close the Jdeveloper and open it i am not able to user the web Service and it is saying as "Not able to read the wsdl file from server Premature EOF encounter"
    2)When i close and open the Jdeveloper i can see the url of the wsdl which imported in webserver is changing from http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/bpelsync_client_ep?WSDL to http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/BPELsync.wsdl
    3)when I open and see the url http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/bpelsync_client_ep?WSDL I can see the soap address as *<soap:address location="http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel!1.0*soa_5cfb8416-c106-40a2-a53b-9054bbe04b9c/bpelsync_client_ep"/>*
    I don’t understand why the soap end contains “*soa_5cfb8416-c106-40a2-a53b-9054bbe04b9c” and this kind of url for soap address is coming to all the bpel process which I am deploying in the server.
    I checked the in Jdeveloper where webproxy is uncheck and the server is also up but still I am facing issue of reading the error.
    Can someone please help in resolving the issue.
    I am using SOA 11g 11.1.1.5 and Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5
    Many thanks.

    Hi,
    Setting default from the jdeveloper -
    During composite deployment from Jdeveloper (wizard driven), you will be given an option to choose the version of the composite and there will also be an option for you to choose if the composite needs to be deployed as default.
    Setting default from the em console -
    After deploying a composite, login to the em console and click on the composite that you want to set as default, and you will find a tab - "Set as Default". please note that this tab will not be seen, if the composite is already set as default.
    Refer -

  • ASCP Plan Is Not Able To Read Global Forecast For Options Published By Demantra

    ASCP plan is not able to read global forecast for options published by Demantra
    ASCP plan is not able to read global forecast for options published by Demantra. Only Model Forecast is being read into ASCP plan.
    1) We are publishing global forecast from Demantra at CTO/Zone/Week level and it is getting published properly to ASCP denorm table.
    2)There is no forecast explosion being done in ascp (plan option explode forecast is not checked)
    3)The sourcing rule is set at zone level for the model saying source from an organization (org code 11)
    4) The profile: msc:-Organization containing generic BOM for global forecasting is set to 22 which is a reference org
    5) Now when we run the plan the model forecast goes to org 11  but the option forecasts do not go properly
    6) We have just one line created for the option (production forecast) with a wrong quantity
    7) Demantra has forecasts for both Model and options

    Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
    emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
    As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

    I am testing the debugger in SQL Developer, and although I can compile objects normally (using the menu/tool bar options), when I compile a procedure for debug, I get this message:
    Error: No more data to read from socket
    There is no sql error message, just this statement.
    I am using 1.5.1.54.40 on an XP SP2 machine. The database is hosted remotely.
    Any advice is appreciated.

  • Couldn't read from socket error: Is this a bug in Java?

    I have been facing this grave problem for a long time now. After establishing a socket connection with some server:port say 207.123.17.20:1865, I get this error "Couldn't read from socket" as an IOException. I can neither read or send any packets to the server after receiving this error. On checking whether the socket connection is alive or not, I print socket.getAddress() and it returns me the ip of the server to which it is connected. The specification says that receiving this error means the socket was closed by the server. If it so then how I am able to print the server address after receiving this error? How can I get around this problem? Plz. help...

    watertownjordan said:
    If your computer (client) killed the connection, it should throw an error >pointing to the OS closing the connection. but what if my client app cntrl alt del while the server is waiting to here from the client.
    my client may sit idle for hours and then contact again. i want to keep their socket connected but if they cntrl alt del then i want to close the socket so the thread on the server side can be exited.
    the way i solved this was to send an "i'm still here" message to the serv in a timer every 10 seconds and set the time out on the server side to 30 seconds.
    i used a syncronized boolean variable like so:
        volatile private boolean out1busy = false;
        private synchronized boolean getOut1busy(){
         return out1busy;
        private synchronized void setOut1busy(boolean on){
         out1busy = on;
        }then in the timer i do this
            while (getOut1busy()) try { Thread.sleep(40); } catch (InterruptedException ex) {}
            setOut1busy(true);
            lobbyOut.println("-1");
            setOut1busy(false);it seems to work fine but the loop using the thread.sleep does not seem right and i know very little about this all.
    i'm basically asking the same thing as Chintan.Kanal
    Is there any way I can test whether the socket connection is alive from the server side?
    does my approach above have flaws.
    again it seems to work but i am not very Java savy lol.

  • Apex link not able to connect from local machine.

    Hi,
    Here is the scenario.
    I have installed oracle apex 3.2 in my vmware linux machine.
    I'm able to connect the link (http://b03apex.domain.com) from my linux(vmware) box but I'm not able to connect from windows local machine.
    I tried to ping the ip, from both the ends are working but not sure why I'm not able to connect from windows local machine.
    local windows ip: 192.168.1.2
    vmware Linux ip address : 192.168.1.3
    Do I need to do add any parameters in the Apache logs to connect from windows local machine.?
    Need your suggestion.
    Thanks, Muhammed.

    Do I need to do add any parameters in the Apache logs to connect from windows local machine.?No.
    Can you ping the VM hostname from your Windows console (instead of IP address)?
    Have you tried in your Windows browser the following URL (using IP address of the VM instead of the hostname)?
    http://192.168.1.3/
    Have you checked that your browser is not configured to use a proxy server?
    Have you checked your Windows firewall for allowing tcp web traffic to the virtual machine?
    Have you checked for the same on on the virtual machine (firewall will be likely be done using <i>iptables</i>).

  • No more data to read from socket only in 2nd and 3rd database

    Hi,
    I'm developing an application for a client with three independent login modes, each one with an independent database.
    I'm using the following products:
    Oracle 9i database (9.2.0.6.0)
    Oracle Content Management SDK 10g (9.0.4.0.0)
    Oracle Workflow (2.6.3.0.0)
    Oracle Application Server 10g (9.0.4.2.0)
    In development, I've these products installed in x86 machines with Windows 2000. I've no problems and no errors.
    In the client, I've the same products and versions but installed in a Solaris Machine and I've the following error ONLY when I use the second and the third login modes (not always, maybe only in 50% of the times I submit data in the application). In the first login mode I have no problems. The code for the different modes is essentially the same so I don't understand what is the problem. I don't have access to the client server so I can't make a debug.

    I'm using oracle jdbc thin driver.
    As data source class I'm using jdbc.pool.OracleConnectionCacheImpl.
    Anyone have a clue what is happening?

    Have you resolved this? I am getting the same error, but after restarting my webserver and re-establishing my connection pools it works(for a while). I need to find the root.
    Thanks for any help,

    I would like to use slideshow in lightroom to export my video as a full screen 1920x1080 video with text overlays.  I am using text overlay in lightroom as it reads from the metadata that is easy for me to input in the library screen.  When i export from lightroom slideshow and choose the 1920x1080 resolution the end product is a very small video in the middle of a black background.  i have double checked and do not have any borders turned on.  Another option would be to export from the library but lr mogrify does not seem to put text overlays on video either.  Any input would be welcome.

    I dont understand anything you said in your post.
    Do you have a specific question about video production?
    The forums are for individual technical or creative issues that users have with video production. I am sur someone will be able to help you, but and to get a response it is best to ask a specific question.
    Is this about a technical problem you have or something about setting up a web site? If its the latter this is the wrong forum.

  • "No more data to read from socket."?

    Hi everybody,
    We recently migrated from Oracle 10g Database Enterprise Edtion to Oracle 11g R2 Database Enterprise Edition
    with Data Guard and a dedicated standy-by database. The database is a data source for multiple applications.
    Among others, we are using two JBoss 4.2.3 GA application servers which run together in a clustered configuration.
    During our migration of our database, we also updated our OJDBC thin drivers from Oracle within our JBosses. We
    replaced the ojdbc14.jar with ojbc6.jar (Oracle 11g 11.1.0.7.0) and updated or added referenced libraries as well.
    Since our migration we experience an unfamiliar problem from time to time. Suddenly our deployed EJBs crash with
    the exception "SQLException: No more data to read from socket." The occurence is rather random than bound to
    a specific bean. The only noticeable thing is that it appears more often when there is more work load on our
    JBosses.
    Our only solution up to now is to shutdown our JBosses, restart the database and restart our JBosses again.
    Depending on our work load we do this from every two days to every 4 hours.
    I googled the message and even found several hundred hits that mentioned the exception above, but none of
    them got really solved, instead people found some case of work around for them. But none of them worked for us,
    since this exception seems more general and can have multiple causes.
    We did not have this problems when we were using the Oracle 10g database. Currently I am not sure if this problem
    is related to the new Oracle 11g R2 database, the new OJDBC thin driver or JBoss.
    Anybody experienced the same problem? And maybe even got it properly solved?
    If you need further information, just ask. I will happily offer as much information as possible to solve this.
    Greetings,
    CB

    Hi,
    I remember that we received similar error after upgrading the database from 9.2.0.7 to 10.2.0.4 in one of our application using JDBC 10.1.0.5. We worked with Oracle support, and they provided us with patch Patch 5851267, that resolved our problem.
    So I would recommend you to do the same.

  • Error on ASA5505: "IKE Receiver: Error reading from socket."

    Hi,
    I'm expecting a problem with the network of a customer.
    He has one ASA5505 connected to 2 RV082 using VPN IPSec (1 top office and 2 remote sites).
    Each sites have 2 internet ADSL providers: "Provider A" and "Provider B" for backup purpose.
    The remote site 1 has the default connection using "Provider A" network on both sites (top office and remote site) and "Provider B" for backup purpose.
    While remote site 2 has the default connection using "Provider B" network on both sites (top office and remote site) and "Provider A" for backup purpose.
    (Kind of load balancing when all connections are working good)
    When all "3 sites x 2 =" 6 connections are working, I doesn't have any problem and all is working good.
    But since 2 weeks, the "Provider A" of the top office is disconnected: both remote site uses "Provider B" and are connected to the top office on
    the "Provider B" connection. ("Provider A" is no longer used on every sites.)
    This configuration works good until a short disconnection appear on "Provider B" connection on "Site 2".
    Then I have many "IKE Receiver: Error reading from socket." on the ASA5505 syslog and the RV082 located on "Site 2" says it's connect but it isn't. (It is not possible to ping "site 2" from top office network.)
    If I force this RV082 to reconnect, I can from the top office, ping "Site 2" and open a remote desktop session to the server located on "site 2".
    But I cannot ping top office network from "Site 2" and I cannot open a remote desktop session to the server located on "top office"
    (it's very strange I can ping from a A network to a B network but not from B to A).
    Restart the RV082 of the "Site 2" and/or the ASA5505 does not fix the problem and I continue to get the IKE socket error message.
    To fix the problem until next "Site 2" "Provider B" disconnection, I have to disconnect or restart the RV082 located on "Site 1" and then do the same to the RV082 located on "Site 2".
    I use updated firmware: RV0XX-v4.1.1.01-sp.bin for both RV082 v3 and asa843-9-k8.bin for the ASA5505.

    isConnected means was ever connected.
    Check whether isr is closed. If so, the server has disconnected/closed the connection.
