How to use proxy along with attachment...

HI,
Proxies communicate with the XI server by means of native SOAP calls over HTTP .RFC does not, so you have to convert from SOAP to RFC calls and vice versa. So XML conversion is required.

    Hi Experts,
    i am facing one problem while developing one interface from SOAP to ABAP Proxy with attachment.
    the sender system is sending empty soap message but with all its content in the attachment.
    we need to parse the attachment and send the data to ECC system through proxy.
    we made some research on SDN and found out that in sender soap adapter PayloadSwapBean is not supported.
    however in receiver XI adapter the module tab is not editable.
    could you suggest any solution to handle this interface?

    Can you just try to  use SOAP with Servlet(Axis) protocol, since standard SOAP sender does not allow modules to be used.

  • Inbound proxy with attachment

    Hi All,
    I have a scenario where in I need to pick one zip file from FTP and pass it to SAP system over proxy communication.I have searched on SDN,find blogs on outbound proxy but didnt get much information on inbound proxy with attachment.
    Or please suggest if there is any other way to pick the zip file from source and send that zip file to SAP system over proxy.
    Please provide your inputs.

  • Proxy with attachment to FTP

    Hi,
    I have a scenario, at the sender side the ECC system will send the file as an attachment and via PI I have to place that file on FTP using FTPs adapter.
    I am not getting what structure should I create in PI for sender proxy,shall I put a single field, in which attachment will be passed from sender ECC system.and then what settings I should make to place it on FTP with the same name.
    Please guide me.

    Hi Ruchi,
    We had a similar scenario and this is what was done.
    1. In IR, create a simple structure with a field that is a carrier for the filename. Dynamic configuration is employed here for storing the filename.
    2. The ABAP proxy would send the message such that there are 2 parts in the Inbound Message Payload : 1. The flat file that has to be sent to FTP, 2. the structure that was created in IR (with the filename field populated).
    3. Receiver FTP channel settings :
                         1. Enable ASMA settings to access filename via Dynamic configuration.
                          2. Use payload swap bean to place the flat file in the FTP server. ( Parameters : swap.keyName as Content-type and swap.keyValue as text/plain).

  • Dealing with attachment

    i have abap proxy 2 java proxy with attachment,
    after sending by abap proxy with attachement,
    i can see word_attachment file and main application(application/xml) on payload on SXMB_MONI.
    my question is,,, how can i take word_attachment file in  Imple Java from receiver java proxy in order to send that file to external system.
    any idea ? is there anyone can help me?

  • Call proxy service from other proxy service with attachment

    Hi!
    I have got an email sending proxy service I would like to call this from an other proxy service and I want to send attachment in email. I can send email with attachment if i call this proxy as a webservice (e.g. from soapUI)
    But if i want to call this email proxy service from other proxy service, the attachment in email is empty. I put a log action (expression: $attachments) in the beginning of email proxy service, and I saw this in the log file:

    Why cannot I call this email proxy service from other proxy service for sending email with attachment?
    I tried to solve this other. I called an email sending business service from this proxy service. But in this case I cannot set the body of email. If I put just one Transport Header action in publish action, I could send the email (with empty body). But If I put a replace action in publish action as well then the OSB didn't send the email and I couldn't find any error message in log file... How could I set the body of email in publish action?

    You should be able to get the current user id from the SPListItemEventProperties object. From here you should be able to create a Claim. For example get the user by using

    This package I'm attaching allows to send Hebrew Language email + attaching files to it.
    This package is based on demo_mail package (combined here but you can search at google for more example information if needed).

  • File to ABAP proxy as attachment

    Hello PI expert,
    I have requirement to FTP file from FTP server to ECC server.  But because of some security, we can not get FTP permission on ECC server.
    What i want to do is, get the file from FTP server as it is, and send it using abap proxy as attachment. I don't want to do any content conversion or xml conversion because I want to transfer file as it is.
    Any suggestion.

    if your PI version is at least "SAP NetWeaver PI 7.1 SP3"
    create sample Data type structure with one node and one field, and use this for both proxy and file service/message interfaces.
    Pick the file from FTP. No graphical mapping. Use Java Mapping. Read the input stream and create an attachement from this and attach it to the message. pass some static values for the output (proxy) structure using output stream. Thats all.

    With the generic SOAP client, it asks for the http based wsdl file location. But my wsdl has been generated by XI and I have the file stored on my desktop.
    Something to do with the path http://zpidd01:8030/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=NetworkPartners:NP_Order_BS:NP_SOAP_Sender_CC ??

    I have a Scenario, Retrieve email with PDF attachment from MailServer and send it to ECC either in as same as email (mail content and attachment) or xml  using PI 70.How can i achieve this?
    I can able to read the mail with attachment but how can i send attachment to ECC or How can i convert into xml(PDF to XML).?

    I have used Payloadwapbean in my sender Mail adapter and i can see my inbound paylload as :MailMessage(text/xml;charset=utf8) ,Mailttachment-1(application/octet-stream;name="testpdf(attachementname).
    I am getting Mapping Error  :SAP:Code area="MAPPING">EXCEPTION_DURING_EXECUTE</SAP:Code>

  • IIS Reverse Proxy with URL rewrite.

    Hi all, hoping to leverage the wealth of knowledge contained here.
    Any assistance would be very welcome.
    I'm having an issue getting a reverse proxy and URL rewrite working in IIS 7.0.
    I need to redirect all requests with a specific virtual directory suffix only.
    ie; https://domain.test.com/outbound/Content/query_etc
    With /Outbound/ being the trigger.
    This should be redirected to http://10.10.10.10/inbound/Content/query_etc
    While at the same time, requests without the /outbound/ suffix should be handled locally.
    I have configured the reverse proxy as described in a few articles, and have had no luck.

    To me, this looks correct, yet it doesn't work.
    With this, I get the normal 404 - Error Code 0x80070002, with the text indicating the local directory doesn't exist, so.... not being picked up by the filter for redirection.

    Looking at your requirements it appears you need Reverse Proxy To Another Site/Server.
    By using URL Rewrite Module together with
    Application Request Routing module you can have IIS 7 act as a
    reverse proxy.
    It seems like URL Rewrite can't re-route the request somewhere else out of the server.
    Even when you rewrite the url the actual connection remains with the server. Hence if your original server doesn't have /inbound/Content/query_etc  it will fail with 404.
    Hosting multiple domain names under a single account using URL Rewrite.
    It’s a common desire to have a single IIS website that handles multiple sites with different domain names.

    Thanks. I have written Programm, but it does not work as i want it to do. I will send an Email with attached Adobe Interactive Firm to [email protected]. I tried it with "*lo_recipient = cl_sapuser_bcs=>create( sy-uname )" at the marked(bold, fat) position. It worked but the Email was send to my SAP-Account, but i want to send to [email protected], so I tried this (see at code in bold, fat):

  • Some emails I receive on my ipad seem to disappear when I want to look at them again.  Also I forwarded an email to several people with attachment.  WhenI went back into the email to print off the attachment it wasn't there.

    Some emails I receive on my iPad seem to have disappeared when I try to go back into them.  Also I sent an email with attachment to several people.  When I went back into my email the attachment had disappeared.  I phoned one of the recipients to see if the attachment had been delivered and it had.  She tried forwarding the email and attachment back to me.  I received the email but not the attachment.  I checked my iphone fior the original email and the attachment wasn't included.  I have IOS7 on the ipad but IOS6 on the iphone.  Can anyone advise please?

    I have a requirement  in which the process has n number of approvers in the flow, and each  approver can add attachments to the form in the list<document>  variable which carries the attahced documents.
    At the end of the process i am supposed to send a email with all the attached files to a help desk team.
    I know that the Email with attachment activity supports one attachment. is there any posibility or other  activity that i can use to send an email with any number of attachments?

    The service you want is called "Send with Map of Attachments". This service is not on the toolbar.
    If you drag on the Define Activity step and type "email" in the Find box you will see under Foundation that there are 3 email services.
    Choose Send with Map of Attachments.

    There is an option of embedding index for faster search while converting email to a PDF .
    However I am not sure that will serve your purpose or not .
    I would recommend you to get in touch with Microsoft support as well .
    Meanwhile I'll work on it and get back to you in case I get a desired solution .
