Prs being generated via mrp need to be in ZI doc type

hi,
we ve just started using MRP to generate prs. these prs are of doc type nb. when i try to use this pr to create sto in me21n.
i get thiss error saying doc type nb cant be converted into U (sto doc type).
earlier we used to create pr in doc type ZI (monthly indent)..using which we were able to create sto as well as local procurement order.
so how do i set PRs generated via MRP to document type zi.
plzz help.
regards
rahul

Hi,
In SAP IIMG the order types of the procurement proposal through MRP run are configured.
Please study the following configuration:
IMG >> MRP >> Procurement Proposals >> Deifne order Profile
Object type     2 Purchase requisition
Order profile   UL
Order type           NB   Standard purchase order
Procurement type     F    External procurement
Special procurement  U    Stock transfer
Acct Assignment Cat.
Here I think you need ZI type document.

  • MRP - PRs being generated along with Schedule lines

    Hi
Problem statement - PRs also getting generated alongwith schedule lines in MRP.
We have 'PD' MRP type set up for externally procured material with 'F'. I had set up to generate schedule line using the sourcelist. and during the planning run MD03, I am selecting the following values
Create PR - '2' Purchase requisitions in the open period (any value in the three generates a PR/Planned order in the open period)
Delivery Schedules - 3 Schedule lines.
The client requires only generation of schedule lines.  How can I get this done.
    regards
    Nagaraj

    Dear Nagaraj,
For MRP to create the schedule lines automatically, please change to the following settings.
    1. Create Scheduling agreement for the vendor,Agreement type  LP.
    2. In ME03, Source List: Maintain MRP = 2 Record relevant to MRP. Sched. lines generated automatically.
    3. Run MRP
    Hope this helps you.

  • Schedule Line generation via MRP

Dear Members..We create Scheduling Agreements by referencing quantity contracts. Now Schedule line in scheduling agreements are generated via MRP ..business wants that the sum of scheduled quantities in scheduling agreements should not exceed Contract Quantity. How can we control this. This check is already there in case of manual scheduling in SA ..but how can we control it via MRP ? Thanks in Advance ..
                                    Vinod

    Hi,
    Let me understand the process
First create contract ME31K eg X qty
Output of this contract creates a SA of X qty
Via MRP it creates a Schedule line and this should increase the X qty.
I think as std SAP system will not allow to more than X qty

    hi,
    1. Mark checkbox source list in material master.
    2. purchase info record for the vendor & material combination
    3. source list for the material - mention the scheduling agreement and mark as mrp relevant, schedule lines generated
    4. Use MD03, choosing 1 for purchase requisition, 3 for schedule lines and planning mode, prerequisites requirement exists for material. If requirement does not exists it will not create scheduling agreement line.

  • Generate Delivery Schedules via MRP Planning run

The company wants to create Scheduling Agreements and generate the Delivery Schedules from the MRP Planning run - MRP 2 view via JIT.
Can you generate Delivery Schedules from Schedule Agreements if the company does not have an EDI server or APO set up?
    Thanks,

    Shirley Globe,
You seem to be putting the experts to the test.
As it was told you, you can generate schedule lines via MRP run. MRP run can be done (e.g.) trough MD01 /MD02 / MD03. Of course, you have to use the proper selection parameters to achieve your goal.

  • How to adjust the delivery date in PR generated by MRP

    Hi.
We use MRP to generate PRs. The PRs are generated and the delivery date is also being calculated based on PR processing time + planned del. time + GR process.time.
However my requirement is that the delivery date in the PR should be always Tuesday for the week we need the parts.
E.G. Say MRP run has created a PR with delivery date as 28.02.2008, then system should automatically shift that date to Tuesday's date 26.02.2008 for that week.
IF PR delivery date as per MRP is say 03.03.2008 (Monday), then system should automatically make it to Tuesday's date 04.03.2008.
so in short , each and every PR generated for any vendor , the delivery date should be always the tuesday's date in front of the week we need the parts.
So is there any standard setting or functionality available in SAP to achieve the same.?
IF not, then is there any user exit to achive the same.?
    Pls help.
    Thanks and regards

Can you please help me by informaing how can I run Time phased planning.
My requirement is that MRP Run should give me the PRs with delivery date as Tuesday. Say planned del.time is 28 days . Pur.proc.time is 2 days and GR procee.time is 1 day.
I want to run MRP every week. and. How can I set up period and what to set.?
    Questions:
    1) Calculation rule: Weekly with 'perid begins on (2)  Tuesday?
    2) Minimum period: 1 day. Is it right?
    3) Valid from and valid to date: I am specifying as per my requirement: (how much it should be?)
    4) How to run MD03.
Any general guideline on how timephased planning woks?
Like we need to run every week on spcified day , it generates requirement for the weeks in question only , or etc etc. .
I have never used timephased planning. So can you please help me.
    Thanks

  • Site Web Analytics - no usage data being generated

    Hello all:
I have a SharePoint Foundation 2013 farm with 2 WFE - 1 Search Server and 1 DB server.  Search Service Application has been configured and functioning properly.  Usage and health Data Service Application has been created and started.  Usage
data collection is enabled and the "Analytics Usage" check box is checked.  Usage Data Import and Usage Data Processing timer jobs are scheduled and run successfully.
But, I still get the following error when I go to the Site Web Analytics "A web analytics report is not available for this site. Usage processing may be disabled on this server or the
usage data for this site has not been processed yet."
After doing some research, some folks have suggested the following which has to do with manually enabling the receivers via powershell - which I have done but still no report and same error.
    http://geekswithblogs.net/bjackett/archive/2013/08/26/powershell-script-to-workaround-no-data-in-sharepoint-2013-usage.aspx
Other Internet searches indicate that Web Analytics Reports is no longer available in SharePoint Foundation 2013:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/chandru/archive/2013/08/31/sharepoint-2013-web-analytics-report-where-is-it.aspx
    http://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/63099/where-is-the-web-analytics-service-in-sharepoint-2013
There is also a TechNet question which indicate that "Microsoft Support confirmed me there's a bug in SharePoint Foundation 2013 in the Database that's going to be fixed in the June or August CU"
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/5372109c-8a6e-4d31-aa34-13b6cbde52cf/sharepoint-foundation-2013-web-analytics?forum=sharepointgeneral
But, there is no resolution if this bug has been addressed or not.
Therefore, I would really like to know what the deal is with this issue.  At the moment, I do not see any usage data being generated on any of the SharePoint Foundation servers in the farm.
    Please advise.
    Thank you,
    Rumi

    Hi Rumi,
Find a same issue internaly which says that the links Site Web Analytics is no longer valid in SharePoint 2013 Foundation due to the changes in analytics service application architecture, so you may need the SharPoint enterprise edition for using
    this feature.
    Symptom
    - Recently, we upgraded to SharePoint Foundation 2013 from WSS 3.0. In SharePoint Foundation 2013 sites, we see the option to click on Site Web Analytics reports but when we click on it, we get an error.
    - Clicking on Site Web Analytics reports from Site Settings \ Site Actions produces the error: “A web analytics report is not available for this site. Usage processing may be disabled on this server or the usage data for this site has not been processed yet.”
    - We have ensured we have logging enabled (multiple categories)
    - Example Site: http://sharepoint2/sites/IT/Projects/SAP/_layouts/15/usageDetails.aspx
    Cause
    By Design
    1) The links in Site Settings from a site collection are no longer valid in SharePoint 2013 (due to change in Analytics Service application architecture changes...part of Search Service now)
    2) SharePoint Foundation 2013 does not support Usage Reporting Analytics
    Resolution
o Purchase a license for SharePoint Server 2013 Enterprise, and build out a farm for it (the Foundation SKU cannot be upgraded in-place to Server).
o Once built up, you could copy your databases over and attach them to the Server farm and do your cutover.
o Going forward from there, you would be able to have access to the Usage reports.
Also as you have found that msdn blog with the explenation that it is not available in SPF 2013.

  • How to find parent ITEM in pr generated by MRP?

    Dear Gurus,
Please find below explanation and let me know what can be done.
We have implemented MRP for our finish goods.
For Example : I need to Produce ITEM Z001.
    We prepared a bom.
We run MD02 and PRs generated automatically.
But since, some Raw Materials are very common in other products. But while checking PRs by number, we are unable to find that whcih material is for which Finish good.
    Suppose BOM for Item Z001 is containing items A , B , & C.
Item B & C is used in many other Final products.
There are too many prs generated for items B & C.
How could I know which PR is for Which Final Product? Is there any indication in PR or any report that suggest us that particular PR is for this final product.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hello
Generally, transaction MD09 or the procedure mentioned by Jurgen can be used.
However, keep in mind that there is no firmed link betweent the requirement and the receipt generated by MRP. That means, this information is not stored on any table and it's builded dynamically.
Check my answer on the thread below for more details:

  • Schedule lines are not getting generated through MRP

    Hello Experts,
While running MRP, we observed that the system is creating PR instead of schedule lines, although all the necessary prerequistes to generate schedule lines through MRP are maintained. For e.g.
    1. MRP Schedule line relevant indicator '2' is maintained in the Source List.
    2. Sch. Agreement dates and Source List validity dates are same.etc...
Further after some analysis, we observed that if we change the source list validity from date to some back date then system is creating correct schedule lines.
    Example: Material M1; Planned delivery time 7 days; GR processing time 5 days; MRP Type PD; Lot Size WB;
    SA validity dates - 07.09.2011 to 31.12.2011
Source List validity dates - 07.09.2011 to 31.12.2011
If MRP run on 12.09.2011 and source list dates are retain same as mentioned above, system creates the PR.
If MRP run on 12.09.2011 and source list dates changes to 05.09.2011 to 31.12.2011, system creates the schedule lines.
Could you please let us know, why the system behave like this?

    Dear,
    Welcome to SDN,
In transaction OMDT you have to enable the indicator create schedule lines
In MD02 MRP control Prameter here select the Delivery schedules -3- Schedule line. Processing Key as NETCH and Planning Mode - 3 delted and recreated.
Maintain source list ME01, in that put MRP indicator as '2' i.e. schedule lines via MRP.Put your agreement no in that.
If u run MRP properly u will get schedule lines automatically in ME38.
Make the schedule agreement, make it source relevent in the source list make is FIX and MRP indicator as 3.

  • Show Schedule Lines in Week format when created via MRP

    Hello ...
I need to know if it is possible to show the Schedule Lines of the schedule agreements in Week format.
Currently when the MRP runs it create the schedule lines in Day format.
What I need to do when the MRP runs the Schedule lines can be created in Week format.
I know that I can do it when I enter manually and add a schedule line in Week or Month format.,... but we need to have Week format automaticaaly when MRP creates the schedule lines.
    Thanks in advance.

Looks like is not possible doit automatically via MRP.
It must be manually in ME38.

  • Issue in PDT of PR generated from MRP

    Hi All,
We had a issue in the PR generated from MRP. Actually the Planned delivery time(PDT) of the PR(Purchase requisition) is supposed to pick from the PIR(Purchase info record) for the given material if PIR is existing, instead the PR generated from the MRP is picking the PDT that is maintained in the Material master. After our analysis, we are seeing that Purchase Organisation details is not mentioned in the PR and this PR is created from the MRP. How to ensure the Purchase organisation details are to be picked for the PR that is generated from the MRP run  so that PDT from the PIR is picked up for the PR instead of PDT of material master. Can anyone suggest us does we need to maintain any setting in MRP Run?. How can we avoid this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Aditya,
Check in OPPQ,for the plant whether the check box for determining the planned delivery time is set or not.
Scheduling according to purchasing info record or agreement
Determines whether the planned delivery time specified in the purchasing info record is used for scheduling in the planning run.
    Use
If you set this indicator, the system checks whether a planned delivery time is entered in the purchasing info record or in the
outline agreement. This planned delivery time is then used to calculate the delivery date and the release date.
    Dependencies
If you want to use the planned delivery time from the purchasing info record, you must maintain a source list entry for the
material in addition to the purchasing info record, and enter the same vendor in the source list as in the purchasing info record.
    Check and revert

  • BPM alert not being generated

    Hi guys,
I'm having quite a little trouble in doing one thing which has been done for several times but which is giving  me a hard time...
I've created a bpm process which in an error condition will trigger a simple alert.
I've tested the process and everything goes allright, except the alert. What is happening? Well, the alert is not being sent to my inbox. Why? Maybe because the alert is not being generated.
I've went to sxmb_moni_bpe and everything is OK. I can see the message of the alert being fired. After that I went to slg1 to see if my alert is being generated, and the answer is no. It's not being generated....
I've gone through Michal's blogs and everything was checked...The question is, if I execute RSALERTTEST with my alert category, the alert is generated and send to my inbox. Do you have any ideas?
Thanks a lot for your attention

    Hi,
Yes the job scheduling is needed only for Sp14 and below.
Can you recheck if the Alert is actually getting triggered or not in the BPM in the control step? Make sure that you have given the correct Alert Category in your Control Step and also, make sure that the recipient in your alert as well as the Alert Inbox entry you are seeing is the same.
    Finally, refresh the Alert Inbox.
    Regards,
    Bhavesh
