PRS Condition - Updating Service Condition from PO/RFQ

Deal all,
I am facing a great difficulty in updating the Service Condition Record (ML35 - With Plant & Vendor) via PO. I have done the following settings but still when the PRS condition price is changed in PO or Quotation, the price in Service condition Record is not updated, hence when creating new PO, OLD price from the service condition record is always recalled. Please help
The default check for Update Info Record in PO is activated in customizing.
PRS condition is at the top in Service Schema MS0000.
In PRS - Value (c) has been assigned - Manual Entry has the priority.
Exclusion X is checked both in PRS and in Service Condition Record.
I have tried updating Condition (button in service PO) with all possible entries but the service condition is not updated.
But still the desired result is not accomplished. What i want is, Service Condition Record (ML35 -display) has the price suppose EUR 160, when creating service PO, this price is automatically proposed. Say this is changed from EUR 160 to EUR 190, the latest price should be updated (via update condition check in PO) in the service condition record.

But there is a check in Service PO - Update Condition.
The description of this check as given by SAP is as below and that is exactly what is my requirement, then why this is not possible, please help, it is really needed in my business scenario.
"Update Conditions
Causes the conditions in the service master record to be changed.
Examples
Vendor Miller Corp. has quoted a price of $100. Since you know that the conditions pertaining to this service currently refer to a price of $110, you wish the new price information to replace the old without having to change the service master record manually.
Procedure
Set the indicator if you wish the condition from the service line of the document being processed to supersede the previous condition in the service master record."

Hi Friends
We have maintained Condition record validity and same will be used for u201CCondition updateu201Dfeature.
Condition Update says that Condition record to be executed only first 10 orders for one customer as per our configuration and from 11th order on ward new condition record to be triggered automatically.
Note: we are not sure that how long customer will take time to finish first 10 orders.
So kindly let me know if there is any way to resolve above mentioned issue.

thanks for the your response but condition record is based on material ....and you must be expecting if it is on customer based we can manage it through validity right ....but how can we sure that customer will be closing his orders by some time.

Condition update error :There is no condition update from sales orders.

I am testing the condition update by condition type K005 , which have been set the condition update indicator ,and I have also set the Max.number.of.orders to 1 , but after I created the first sales order ,the condition record still make effect in the second and third sales order ,which was created without referece to the first one .
And when I look at the cumulative value in the condition record ,it says "There is no condition update from sales orders."
Anyone can give me some light ?
BTW , the sales order type is ZOR ,which I copy from the standard order type .And the item category is ZTAN , copy from standard IC TAN .

hello, friend.
there are at least 3 things that you will have to check, since records for condition type K005 is created for a specific combination:
1. check if the item category with condition update was the one determined in the order
2. check if the customer has a valid K005 record
3.. check if the material has a valid K005 record
also, since you specified "1" as maximum number of orders, this could have prevented any updates.

Use
You can create and use condition indices. You can use these indices to display, change and
create condition records with reference. This transaction can include condition records with
several condition types and tables. For example, you can use a condition index if you want to see
all condition records that apply to a particular product regardless of whether the records are
prices or discounts. In this case, you can use one of the standard condition indexes. Or you may
want to see a list of condition records that contain a particular sales deal and a material from a
user-specified list of products. To display this information, you can create your own condition
index.

Remote update service on sony ericsson G502 does not work

I have a Sony Ericsson G502. The phone has a problem which causes it to restart when I am on a call. Sometimes it just restarts on its own. I searched on the net and found that other people have also seen the same issue and I believe a software upgrade will fix the problem.
I dont have the usb cable of the phone so I cannot do the upgrade using the 'Update Service' software from the pc. I tried doing a 'remote update service' from the phone in Menu-->Update Service-->Search for Update, but it just says that your phone is running the latest software. The current software version on my phone is 1203-8254 R1FA031 080512. Is this the latest software available? I have bought the phone 2 years back (but used it sparingly), and I am not convinced that there is no update to this software.
Please suggest a way I can upgrade this phone? I like the phone, but this restart problem makes the phone very unreliable for everyday use. Kindly help.

Your best bet is to get a USB cable and update the software with SEUS on your PC.If, as the remote update service tells you, you already have the latest software, you can only re-install the software via PC anyway.Alternatively, you can perform a master reset on the phone and see if that fixes the problem.Hope this helps.

Update Service is not working - T700

Hi,
I recently bought a Sony Ericsson T700 and I am trying to use update service features. I have downloaded the Update Service software from the sony ericsson website. When I am trying to follow the guidelines(Switching off and Restarting the system, connecting the USB cable to the system, and then pressing C and connecting the USB to the mobile), I get an error saying "One of the USB drives has malfunctioned...". I had called up the support team, sent a mail and then as per the instructions, I had uninstalled the software and reinstalled the same and tried the whole process again. Still I keep getting the same error message.
Can you please advise what needs to be done ?
(P.S : There is no problem with the USB cable,as I am able to perform data transfer and other functions).

I mentioned that with respect to the error message you keep getting regarding failure of USB drives when trying to use the Update Service, which you mentioned in your original message.So which successful data transfer were you referring to? And what exactly happened when you tried to update the software over the air?

How to update cost condition VPRS and Updation from VPRS to new cond ZVPR

Hi All,
How to do and is there any way to update the VPRS cost condition whenever vendor sends confirmation of material and cost after purchase order.
After receiving the confirmation form the vendor,the VPRS cost condition should get updated in the system automatically.
We have one cost condition type ZVPR which is same and consists of same properties of VPRS. How to update this ZVPR condition from VPRS Condition.

No condition update from the sales orders exist - VK322 Message

Hello All,
I have activated " Condition Index" & " Condition Update" flag for one of my discount condition type and then created it's condition record along with scales on three levels. The condition type which I mentioned above is set as " Value Scale" in Scale Basis for checking the document value and apply the applicable discount percentage.
I have created three sales orders wherein the discount percentage is getting applied as per my condition record ( so, the document value is getting accumulated and compared with the condition record correctly ) but when I try to check the cumulative values ( ctrl +shift + F4 ) from the condition record, I get information message " VK322" mentioned in the subject.
VK322 -
No condition update from the sales orders exist
Message no. VK322
Diagnosis
The following causes are possible:
1. There are no sales orders for the condition record that you selected.
2. Updating condition records in the sales order entry is not active.
Procedure
Concerning 1:
Check the sales orders created for the condition record that you selected.
Concerning 2:
Activate the updating for condition records in the sales order entry.
I have checked everything in SPRO for this but could not find anything which can give me a clue to resolve this problem, especially " Concerning 2" part of this message.
My requirement > To be able to see the cumulative values from condition record.
Also, in which table the accumulated values get stored?

I would like to thank each one of you for giving valuable inputs in regard to my requirement and I would like to let you know that I am able to achieve the results as per the expectation.
I would also like to share some key things which I did ( with the help of all your expert inputs ) due to which the requirement is met:-
1. Activation of ' Condition Index, Condition Update' in V/06 for the discount condition type.
2. Maintained ' B - Value Scale' in Scale Basis for the said condition type in V/06 - my requirement was to check against a value to apply the necessary scale base percentage.
3. Activation of ' S071' info structure via OM01
4. Condition record maintenance as per the required scales.
4. Written a new routine to check the accumulated condition base value from S071 along with the current document condition base value.
5. Put this routine in ' Scale Formula' in V/06.
This is giving me the perfect results for the correct application of the discount.
Just last question - How to re-organize the S071 info structure as I tried to re-organize it with Standard Program ' RV15F001' but it is not re-organizing this info structure... Any idea on this?

Change in Service entry sheet leads to creation of service condition

A new condition will be created (within ML35) when we change prices in the services which are assigned to Model Service Specifications. When we change a price, SAP creates for that activity number a new condition record. Could we turn this functionality off?

Thanks for your prompt reply. The condition update has not been selected and the issue still exists. I will try to explain it in more detail.
We create a purchase requisition for services and we fill in a service number on the tab services. This service number belongs to a Model Service specification and has a price of 42 euro in the specification. Price change and condition update of this service are not checked.
In the purchase requisition we fill in a price of 40 euro (service tab). After saving this requisition, SAP creates a service condition of this new price (40) and a validity from date same as creation date. The price in the model specification did not change.
We do not want to create a new service condition (especially not with the only criteria price and validity date, because this can harm other affiliates).

Updation of condition type in conditions tab while creation of sales order

I have added one field called price key in Sales B screen of VA01 in item level.
When user will input price key here and then put enter. Then the Price should be updated in Conditions tab i.e the condition type will be updated in conditions tab.
I need to maintain this price key in VK11. So As per the Price key i need to update condition types in conditions tab.
here i am using a user exit SAPMV45A. i can get condition type for the specified price key from A905 table.Then how to update this condition type in conditions tab through user exit.
Plz suggest.

if the sales order is saved and you want to change the pricing click on update which will be on the lower level of your condition tab in va02.
and if you are trying to create a new sales order and if the value is greyed our - check whether in pricing procedure - control data - you would have maintained statistics against that condtion tab.

Dear experts,
I run the System with EC&O Best Practice. Howerver, I can not enter Services on tab Service of Sales Order: Short text of Service, Quantity, UOM, Gross Price. the error "Condition for service price determination incomplete" occours when I press Enter key.

Either the calculation schema for services does not exist or the condition types have not been defined correctly.
Procedure
Please check your Customizing settings for service conditions.
If you have not yet defined any conditions for services, you can adopt the standard SAP settings from client 0.

Thank you very much for your inputs.
I checked all the notes, 25357, 27024 and 1383066. Everything is ok in the system. and these notes explained more on the MM part not on the SD- BOS. However, still i am not able to complete the Inquiry, same error exists.
This error is in SD not in MM, while i am creating the inquiry BOS.
If any one come across it and solved it, please let me know.

How to insert new service condition in PO using BAPI_PO_CHANGE?

I'm trying to insert a new condition under a service line in a PO. This can be seen in ME23N under the services tab of the PO item. Then click on conditions (the button with the dollar and yen symbol).
I tried using the internal table POCOND and POCONDX. But these tables update the conditions of the PO item itself and not the service conditions. In ME23N this is the conditions tab of the PO item.

Found a SAP note 499626 quoted below. So it seems that it's not possible to use BAPI_PO_CHANGE.
"Can I create or change conditions on the service level with BAPI_PO_CREATE1 or BAPI_PO_CHANGE?
Answer:
Such a function is currently not available."
Anybody know any FM to do this?
