PRT  Planning & Availability

Hi gurus,
Can you answer the following questions.
1.Is it possible to do PRT Planning in APO?
2.Is it possible to check availability of PRT in APO?
3.If a PRT is supplied by a Customer, what should be the PRT type we need to use.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
To do the PRT Planning, we need to enhance the enhancement PPAPO002.
Here you have to do the programmin g that at the time of change of operation you should reassign the PRT's. It is very much possible to delete and insert PRT's in production orders using relevant production orders.
At the time of choosing the alternative sequence, this enhancement will be executed.
Hope this helps you out.
Best Regards,

  • Planning Availability Times tab not available

    Dear All,
    Greetings!
We have a SAP NW 04s system with PI 7.0 SP 11, we are trying to do some actions in the Planning Availability Times tab at the Communication Channel Monitoring in Runtime Workbench.
But the Planning Availability Times tab is not available when I choose any of the Communication Channels, I am able to view only the Cluster Node and Administration Tabs in the browser screen.
Kindly let me know whether any configurations needs to be activated for the tab
    (or)
Any special authorizations to the user
    (or)
Is the feature available only from SP12, as I searched few OSS notes for Planning Availability Times and found that the corrections or changes refering to SP 12 and above for WAS 7.00.
Currently we are on the below mentioned SP's,
    SAP_ABA                     700                     0011
    SAP_BASIS     700                     0011
    PI_BASIS                     2005_1_700     0011
    SAP_BW                     700                     0010
Kindly help me in solving the issue.
    Thank you

    Hello Vineet
I am not sure exactly when this functionality was released (SP11 or SP12). I think it may be available in the latest SP11 patches (XIAFC, XIAF and XITOOLS). You would need to be on the latest patches to ensure you can use the functionality. If you still don't see the button then it will be necessary to go to SP12.
Regarding configuration etc, see the link below.

    Okay,
So it is just AT&T and T-mobile then.
What is the difference between month to month and prepaid? I thought they are the same thing.
For Tmobile with limited iPhone features, will this mean cheaper cost VS. AT&T then?
    Thank you

  • Plans available

I am hoping someone can shed light on this subject because as usual I have gotten told 3 different things but 3 different reps at Verizon.  I am currently on the "share everything plan" with 3 smart phones. The 1st rep and I were talking about me adding another line (long story but phone acting up and they won't give me an earlier upgrade) and he said I could go to another plan where the 3 of us would share 700 minutes and each of us would have unlimited texts and each of us would have 2 gigs of data allowance (similar to what I was on before switching to the family share plan) and my line now I could activate a basic phone (which I have) which would save some cash. So I got to thinking about doing this and talked to another rep later on and he told me that there was NO other plan available that I had to stay on the share everything plan. A day later I talked to another rep who told me no that wasn't true that I could go to that other plan that the 1st rep told me about. Now seriously who is right? I'm just so tired of getting told so many different things. In all the years of being with Verizon this has happened MANY times through out the years. Everyone needs to be on the same page. Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this? Thanks in advance for any replies/tips/advice.

    Hang on a moment...
Budone's answer doesn't make sense.   And I think you missed information in your post...
    If I understand you...
You just want your old basic phone active on your phone number because your current Smart Phone is broken and your upgrade is not due quite yet...
    Correct?
    OR
Did you want a 4th phone line...either added to the plan or as a separate phone line?   I'm not sure if you are going to use the broken phone and basic phone to limp through till the upgrade.
My suggestion and the easy fix...
And you don't need any help for this...and no additional charges, fees, no change in plans...
Get out the old phone, get on Your Verizon Acct and switch phones.   It walks you through the process.   You will be asked for a number, usually inside the battery compartment of the old phone, in order to activate the old phone on your cell number.
I have done this a few times because I purchased phones out-right, rather than extend my contract by upgrading within Verizon.

  • Rough cut planning & available capacity

I need one clarification, in the rough cut planning, the existing load
is not considering for available capacity. It is considering only from
    the resource capacity.
E.g : Avaialble capacity of for Resource A (today) is 24 hr
One Order is created and released for 4 hr with Resource A
As per that now my available capacity of the resource is only 20 hr
In SOP planning view, it showing as 24 hrs.
And If i am running the SOP today at 1400hrs for calculating the
resource capacity. Practically my avaialble capacity is 10hrs. But
in the system it showing as 24hrs.
How to capture the above both requirements?
    2. Through roughcut planning we can able calcualte the cost, material and
PRT availability also. But it is not coming the the SOP screen.
Is it any configuration i missed out? Help me out

    Hi!
Available capacity means the total capacity available for use in production. Presence of an requirement will not reduce the available capacity.
Regarding SOP. Check for the starting time of the order or requirement. See if you can schedule from the current time instead of start of the day.

  • Can I use my iPad 3g service internationally - is international plan available?

Anticipating some international travel in the near future.  Want to take my ipad, but not sure if I can use the 3g service internationally.  Generally, phones require a special plan for international use.  Is that available for the ipad or can I use it in europe on my existing 3 g plan - would use it for face time, email, and internet?

Generally, yes. It's up to your service-provider and depends where you are going and which model you have.
For example, if you have a Verizon model, it uses a CDMA-based mobile technology that is not widely used outside the US (except for parts of Asia). If you have an AT&T model, there's GSM service pretty much everywhere on the planet.
That said, it's almost certainly cheaper to use a SIM (with the GSM models) from the country you are going to. You can get various prepaid ones.
For example, AT&T charges $15/mo for 2GB of data service at home, but $20/mo for 50MB Internationally -- the international plan is more than 50x as expensive as domestic data service.
A little research on the Internet will turn up some pre-paid data SIMs for your desitination that are compatible with a GSM-model iPad.

  • Data plans available for macs

  • PRT Planning (PP)

    Hello,
I am NOT sure whether this is right forum to give this problem. I have tried in SAP-PP and failed to get any replies. So, I am trying over here...
Scenario: I am designing a Solution for Bottle Manufacturing company as PP Consultant. Bottle manufacturing requires MOLDS (Production Resource Tools) almost equivalent to the number of Bottles produced. Lead time to produce/procure MOLDS is around 45 days. This makes it critical to plan for procurement (internal/external). Number of SKUs (Bottles) in the system are around 1500. Number of Molds would equal that as stocks in the system.
    Problem Description (example):
A Mold can create 500000 impressions. Once PRT is issued to the shop floor and Impression made are calculated equivalent to number of bottles produced. For a production order, the bottles can be viz 10000 or 50000 per run.
Once reaching a stage of Mold impressions made 450000, I want MRP to plan for procurement of this Mold (Internal/External) as Planned Order.
I see that SAP is not supporting this kind of planning according to number of impression made for PRT.
Any solutions / suggestions who have come acros this kind of situation?
    Advance thanks

    Hi,
You can resolve your problem using SAP PM, rather than SAP PP, by using the functionality of measuring points and maintenance schedule.
If I were to rephrase your issue, you are looking for a way for the system to notify the shop floor to replace the mold when 450000 impressions are made.
A Preventive maintenance order can be used for this notification, which will be generated from a maintenance schedule based on the number of impressions made thus far. Using the measuring point functionality, you will be able to specify the number of impressions made thus far to the maintenance schedule.
The preventive maintenance order will trigger the purchase of the mold. This document can also be used to report actual cost / time for the replacement of the mold.
You will need to create a maintenance plan for each bottling line.
    Regards,
    Anand

  • Totally confused re Infinity planned availability

So I live in Chorleywood which according to the post code checker is taking orders and indeed one of my family a couple of streets away has already got Infinity .
BT say ( on their web site and on the phone ) that I cannot have Infinity but cannot or will not tell me why despite trying to call their sales and their customer service teams. They just say that it is out of their hands and is up to OpenReach . OpenReach say that I have to speak to my local provider ie BT ... so I am going round in circles.
Now I suspect that I am direct line to the exchange ( BT customer service won't confirm this ) as when I try the ADSL checker it doesnt give me a cabinet number . I suspect if that is the case that I am not going to be getting Infinity any time soon .
Anyone got any advice on how I can confirm what my situation really is ?
I currently get approx 4.5MB download speeds and that is gradually degrading I suspect due to the increased usage locally . Our exchange isnt 21CN upgraded so no ADSL2 . After many years with BT I have pretty much decided that I am going to switch to Virgin who have cable already laid to my door, but I would like to first of all have one last try to work out whether there is any hope at all of BT improving my service any time in the next year or so .

If the checker doesn't give a cabinet number then you are connected directly to the exchange.
I assume you have used this link using your phone number https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html
There are distant plans to have cabinets outside the exchange for people like you but the connection will be copper from that point to you which given your current speed your line length means a fibre connection would not be a realistic option.
