Pruchase org value based on purchase group?

Hi,
I need to find out  Immidiate next level of Purchase ORG value based on
Purchase group.
Is there any tables? or function module?
Please let me know .
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Please explain what do you want to do exactly..you are saying "I need to find Purchase ORG value based on Purhcase org, does any one can help.".!!!
The FM "BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP" gives you all the details for a Purchasing group i.e.the Purchasing Org to which it belongs to...You just need to pass the Purchasing Group details in IS_OBJECT..eg. O 50000077,then in ES_PURCH_DATA,You get the Pur ORG details.

  • PO Qty restruction based on purchase group

    Hi experts
Can you provide me solution on this requirement that restruction on purchase order qty based on purchase group,
in detail my user want that if i entered purchase group XYZ ,then for that purchase order po qty system should not allow more than 1 qty for 1234 company code .
is there any solution for this requirement
    Kumar

    Hi,
Can you please elaborate? The purchase group is on the Header of the PO. When you say that the quantity needs to be restricted to only 1, does that mean that only one item is allowed on the PO with Qty 1 or multipel items are allowed but each of the items can have quantity as 1?
Also, the exit ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST is active only in the online mode for ME21N and ME22N. If you have any background jobs generating a PO (Planning ME59N etc.) the exit does not work.

  • Derivation of fund center based on purchasing group

    Hi,
It is required to determine the fund center based on purchasing group (during PR creation). I  have gone through one thread which suggests inclusion of the field EKGRP into FMDERIVE, then to COBL.
However I was trying to check whether it can be done through table lookup using field USERTEMP1 and assigning the same to EKGRP. But in the table lookup screen, the upper part contains the fields BANFN (Purchase Requisition Number) and BNFPO (Item Number of Purchase Requisition) which need to be assigned to source fields. I am not sure what source fields should be assigned and how it will  work.
Request your input in this regard.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
I am trying to derive fund center based on purchasing group using field USERTEMP1. In the upper part of table lookup screen (I am using table EBAN) what should I assign to the fields BANFN and BNFPO?

  • To enable filtering the Purchase Orders based on Purchasing Group in Issue

    Hi All,
    We are facing one issue
Currently we are working with Extended Classic Scenario with SRM 5.0 and support pack 11
If the buyer uses Issue PO transaction in SRM, there are POs from all the buyers.
There is no filter to allow the buyer to display only POs relevant for his/her Purchasing group.
To enable filtering the Purchase Orders based on Purchasing Group in Issue Purchase Order transction, we found one
OSS note : 1162884 - BBP_PPF: Purchasing group as search criteria for PO
But we found that this oss note is not applicable for our system version
Could you please help me to resolve this issue by any suggestion or by any other oss note?
    Thanks
    Snehal

    Hi Snehal,
There is a easy way to do that.
Go to buyer role in PFCG transaction and look for profile and go inside profile ...look for your transaction...
for Process PO  transaction -  BBP_PD_PO and you have field BBP_PURGRP...using which you can restrict it on purchasing group..
You may have to copy same role and create new roles based on purchasing group..
I feel that basis or Security and Authorization team can help you in this matter.

  • Escape Release strategy based on purchasing group

    Dear Experts,
In our system,  PO release strategy is set up,
But, some of the POs are not subjected to release strategy because they belong to a perticular Purhasing Group (P01).
Where this set up is done?
    Regards,
    Shashidhar

    Hi Shashidhar,
In your system it seems there is a characteristic created for Purchasing Group, if you want it activated for a particular Purch Group, then please do the following
Determine the strategy that you want to be called ( You can see any existing PO to find it out), once done, you need to identify the characteristics and class
SPRO-MM-Purchasing-Purchase order-release strategy, define release strategy, select your strategy and go to details and click on classification, in case you get an error and not able to, click on release pre requisites, come back and then try again, in classification you will get to see the various characteristics maintained and also the class name at the top.
Once you have done that, please go back to the node Edit Class, please put the class that you obtained earlier and get the characteristics for Purchasing Group.
Then go to the node Edit Characteristic, put your characteristic name say PO_RELEASE_EKGRP, Click on the tab values, and add your Purchasing group here and save it.
Then go to transaction CL24N, provide the class, and select the release strategy you are interested in, and select change, and detail, there for the characteristic for Purchasing group, you can add the previously added Group, and you are good to go.
Please let me know if this helps.

  • Multiple Purchasing Groups to One Person

    Hi Experts,
We are running SRM5.0 Classic Scenario. I need to have a User to select any purchasing group in a selection. Org.Structre example:
    Root Node org unit
    Company org unit
    Purchasing Org ( R/3 P.org)
    R/3 Purchasing Groups org unit
    Regions org unit
Note: 1.Purchasing Groups are added under the R/3 Purchasing Groups org unit with Organizational Responsibility without entries. The Product Responsibility Tab has all R/3 products entries. Responsibilty is maintained at the P.Group Level.
    2. The Region becomes the Org. Unit and will have a region name under as a Branch Org, and the Department Org unit under the Branch. Users are added under the Department Org Unit. These org units do not have Responsibility.
How do I make the User to select any P.Group and Use it. I managed to have the User to select all these P.Groups when creating a shopping under the Extended Details tab, but the P.Group does not get selected, instead a P.Group on top of the list gets selected and used for SC creation.
    Please HELP..!!!
    Lebo

    Hello,
The default settings value for Purchasing group works in the following
way : the correct purchasing group is determined on the basis of the
product category. And this information you can find out in the
    organizational responsibilty in the PPOMA_BBP
( i.e. which purchasing organizations can potentially procure for the
department user). Also in the product responsibility we maintain which
product category(s) the purchasing organization is responsible. And if
system finds several purchasing groups that are responsible for the same
department and the same product category it will take the first one in
the table. You can confirm this behavior by changing the product
category in the default setting and you will see that it automatically
    adjust the correct purchaing groups.
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks and regards,
    Gaurav

  • Purchase Group Dropdown

    Hi
In the basic data of a shopping cart, the purchase group dropdown has more than one purchase group and the first in the list is defaulted incase the user does not manually chooses from the dropdown.
The requirement is to have default as blank and then force the user to choose the correct purchase group.
Any inputs if we this option by doing configuration changes?
    With Regards
    Sathya

    Sathya,
We had a similar requirement, but for Cost Centers (CNT).  The solution was simple.
    Try this...
In PPOMA_BBP, at the highest level (ot level you want) enter a blank (i.e. empty) value for the Purchasing Group (PURCH_GRP) atttribute.
Let me know it it works.
    Hope my suggestion helps.

  • Purchase Group - Purchase Executive

    Hi,
Each Purchase Group has 3 executives.  when PR is generated it will generate for PG only,  Here the requirement is after creating the PR, based on Purchase Group, he will assign to the respective executive for further processing.  How can it be mapped in sap?
    Reply me in detail.
    Munna

    Dear Ramesh, Jurgen,
Excuse me for contradicting your answer. Intention is not to say your solution is not appropriate but I carry different understanding on this.
what appears from Munna question is that he want to know which purchase requistions were alloted to which executive for purchase order.
if the Purchase group is changed the direct link is gone, then he has to develop a report to know for which PREQ the original Purchase group was there and subsequently it was changed to which purchase group.
what I suggest is he should create an addition field in PO screen to accomodate the executives, anyhow the purchase group info will be retained in PO from PREQ.
he can have both the things without losing the orginality.

  • Purchasing group issue

    Hi,
I am trying to assign an output type for PO printing to a P.Grp using T.Code MN04.I already assigned it but the output is not getting determined in PO.Where as, if I do the same thing for any other P.Grp. its easily getting determined.
The issue is only with one P.Grp.
Can you please suggest what can be the problem?
    Ashish

    Hi
Check, if you have created the Output determination using the Txn MN04, If you try to create the same combination again in MN04 it should not allow you. Check the condition Recodr details in MN05 in the second screen enter the Doc. tyep /Purchase orgn/vendor which you have already created and execute you should be able to view the detailsinside if not then the condition is not there.
mean whil how did you create an output type condition record based upon Purchasing Group ?  The existing Key combination does not contain any Pur grp. reference but Only Purchase Organisation only
    for two of the selections.

  • Release startegy--Purchase group

    Hi,
I have included new created purchase groups into Characteristic value ,
but this purchase groups are not having release strategy into PO,
    What other setting requires?
    Devendra

    Hi,
As you have already included newly created purchase groups into Release Characteristic value, just cross check you have VALUE of "newly created purchase groups " in the release statergy.if not VALUE need to add in to the Release Strategy.
As  TR transported from customising client to testing client and you can directly  add  newly created purchase groups into Release Characteristic but the VALUE of "newly created purchase groups " can not be added directly in testing client for Release Strategy . Now add newly created purchasing groups in CL24N/CL20N for your Release Strategy with Release Group with Release Class.

  • Defaulting value of Purchasing Group based on Company Code

    Hi All,
Currently we have two company codes C1 and C2 each have one - one purchasing org(PO1 and PO2) and purchasing group(PG1 and PG2). So Now hierarchy is as below: -
    C1
      PO1
        PG1
    C2
      PO2
        PG2
Now user of company code C1 can shop for C2 and vice versa but whenever he shops for C1 his Porg and Pgroup should be PO1 and PG1 only and same in the case for C2. Currently on shopping cart screen both company code C1 and C2 are appearing and like wise values of PO1 : PG1 and PO2 : PG2 is appearing in drop down list.
Now client is asking that whenever he selects C1 as company code PO1 : PG1 should appear as default entry and for C2, PO2 : PG2.
Can anyone tell me how this can be achieved and which BADI we are suppose to use to implement this solution?
    Thanks
    Siddarth

    Siddarth,
You shouldn't require a badi, look into the users attributes and extended attributes to see if that is where the extra information is stored.

  • Same Purchasing group assigment to multiple Purchasing Org

    Dear all,
I am facing an issue in SRM 5.0 in Classic Scenario.
In R/3 the freedom exist to assign independently the Purchasing Organization and the Purchasing Group to a PREQ or PO.
Then the following lists have been created:
    <u>PurchORG</u>:
    - PORG1: Porg of country 1
    - PORG2: Porg of country 2
    <u>and PurchGROUP</u>
    - PGRP1: Pgrp Office sup
    - PGRP2: Pgrp IT
and then I want to be able to use all the following combinations:
    PORG1-PGRP1
    PORG1-PGRP2
    PORG2-PGRP1
    PORG2-PGRP2
To do that I create in my Organization Plan the following:
    - PORG1
         -PGRP11
         -PGRP12
    - PORG2
         -PGRP21
         -PGRP22
However as I am in Classical Scenario I need to link the OrgPlan Pgrp to the coresponding in R/3
    - PORG1
         -PGRP11 >PGRP1
         -PGRP12 >PGRP2
    - PORG2
         -PGRP21 >PGRP1 : Error Purchasing group ... in system ... already assigned to ... (message BBP_ATTR 030)
         -PGRP22
    1) I have read somewhere but I can not find it anymore that the system messages can be updated to avoid this error and to allow that functionality. Has somebody done it? Where is it? I am correct?
    2) Otherwise do you have an option to do it?
How must I create my Org Plan as I suppose all Porg and PGrp must exist once in Org Plan.
Then must I use the BADI BBP_PGRP_FIND with Determine Responsible Purchasing Group(s) BADI BBP_PGRP_FIND.  Can you explain how, or provide piece of code.
I looked in doculentation but I don't see clearly the difference between the 2 exit objects (they seem duplicate for me):
    - ES_PURCH_DATA - This output structure should contain the object type and the object ID of the default purchasing group and the higher-level purchasing organization. If you are dealing with a backend purchasing group (purchasing organization), then you must also define the corresponding backend IDs.
    - ET_PURCH_DATA - This output table passes the list of all responsible purchasing groups and their higher-level purchasing organizations. A table line is formed corresponding to structure ES_PURCH_DATA.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
<b>You can go through the link for complete code and other required details -></b>

Re: Purchasing group from external requirements
    Re: BAdI BBP_PGRP_FIND
Re: Purchasing group from external requirements
Re: Sample code for BADI implementation
Every purchaser will be assigned to the relevant purchasing groups in Organization structure and purchasing groups have the product responsibility (product category) and person/organization responsiblility assigned in the 'Responsibility' tab. I think this should be sufficient to get the linkage.
Re: "Proc_Group" assignment to shopping cart  from transferred requisitions
Using BAdI BBP_PGRP_FIND for purch.group determination
    Use Function Module -> BBP_OM_READ_PURCH_ORG_ID
Give Logical system and Purchasing group to this FM.
    It will give you
    ES_PURCH_ORG-OT
    ES_PURCH_ORG-OBJID
Use this info in table HRP1000(Infotype 1000 DB Table) to get the value of text.
    Function module - BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP
The purchaing groups are responsible for product catrgories (material group) and not material numbers. If you use "describe requirement" to create a shopping cart, the purchasing group will default from this responsibilty of product categorty and not material number.
Also the purchasing group can default on other criterias like the organizational responsibility and so on....
Inorder to determine the reponsible purchase organization for creating shopping carts for all product categories, this task can be accomplished by implemeting the badi BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI. here you have to write some logic to change the purchasing organization based on product category. In the purchasing cycle Purchase Organization is not responsible to procure the product, Purchase Group is responsible for the same. In the Organization structure after defining Purchasing organization, you might have define Purchase Group also in the purcase group RESPONSIBLE TAB you have to define the PRODUCT CATAGORY to be procure by this Purchase group.
    Do let me know.
