PS and AI (CC and also CS6) often won't open unless I run as administrator.

Question

(running Window 7, 64-bit)
Very usually, though not always, I cannot open PS or AI except if I run them as administrator.  (This is particularly frustrating when trying to "edit in" from LR 5.)  This problem began with the CC versions and now happens with the CS6 versions as well (which have always before opened normally).  Only LR 5, which I purchased, and Bridge open normally.  The other apps work normally once open, but opening them is a hassle. 
When I run them as administrator, I first have to give permission for the program to make changes to my computer.  Then I am required to accept the licensing agreement yet again.  Once open, the programs function normally.
I have the Cloud desktop app, which worked normally when I installed it.  Now, it, requires a sign-in (and license acceptance), as do the files that are uploaded to the Cloud.  The uploaded files, accessed from a browser, always have required a sign-in (necessarily), but why the desktop app or the other apps that are installed and run from desktop?  (My internet connection is always on; I'm not trying to work off-line.)
I've checked my account, and the few apps I've purchased (e.g., LR 5) are properly registered.  My Cloud membership is up to date.  All the apps I've installed are up to date as well.
Since this behavior is relatively recent, it doesn't seem to be just something annoying but normal.  Can anyone help, please?  I would like at least to understand what is happening.

Hi Gail,
I have Windows 7 64-bit and don't experience this behavior. From my experience this usually occurs when using a standard user account and the UAC settings on the system.
If you are using a standard user option six here might be a long term solution

It might also be an interesting test to see if you get the same behavior in a newly created admin account.
