PS CS2 Quit working? HELP???

Hell-O? My PS CS2 just quit working? It said something about my monitor is out of sync? and then it says my ID or information is invalid???? Its been working for years!!! I am a photographer and I need this for my Photos etc. I put a new video card in a few weeks ago? I have NOT Changed software or reinstalled anything? I am running Windows 7 64bit with an AMD 6 core CPU 16GBs of RAM! Some of my other Adobe apps are still working fine? OK it says my name , Serial number or organization is invalid WHY? I have NOT changed anything!!!! Please Help [email protected] ALL my software with you IS registered under this Email and my Name is Richard Dahmer What else do you need? It does NOT Tell me where to enter? Or Reinter any information? This is very disappointing... )o; If the Video card is the problem why does it NOT let me configure it? Or my Monitor? Its the Same Monitor I have had for over a 2 years? I do Not understand and do not know what to do>? I would have to did up my Serial Numbers as /I am not sure where they are at this point! The Activation server of Cs2 is no longer available. As this version is released allmost 10years ago (2005)
Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
Hope this Documentation help you in getting it activated and work contiously with the application.

Can anyone tell me WHY my keyboard shortcuts—new window, close window—have quit working.
It's a pain in the tuckus to have to open a window with a menu.

I change my Spotlight shortcut to Ctrl + Space and have no problems. I've never had a problem with use the Space Bar to get the Hand tool.

Modem quit working-help!

I have a Powerbook G4 1.5Ghz, still under warranty. The modem stopped working. I called Apple, and they won't even talk to me unless I give them $49. I'm hoping someone here can help me diagnose the problem.
I only use the modem for faxing. Now it won't get any further than "Preparing Fax". I check the log files and I find when the computer starts up "Sep 14 15:52:11 localhost kernel[0]: AppleI2SModemFamily::SSIStartUp -- SSIStartUp3034 two sync mode is UNSUCCESSFUL after 20 tries!"
Apple Hardware test says "modem detected" and nothing more.
I've tried resetting PMU and PRAM. I've tried installing a clean system.
I tried opening zterm to see if the modem is responding at all, and Zterm says "### Error: 16 opening port"
I hope someone out there can help me out.

Recently had the same problem. You did much of the same things I did. AppleCare referred me to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store nearby. After about 45min of them doing tests, etc. they concluded that the modem was defective. My PowerBook was packed up and sent off for repair.
Don't know if this helps much.

I need help - My illustrator CS2 just quit working. Can anyone help?

I went to open a file yesterday and illustrator just freezes on me. won't open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but no luck. My photo shop is working fine but Indesign now asks for serial number and then tells me it is not valid. Panic here as Adobe states they will not support/help me even if I pay. They say illustrator CS2 is to old. It does what I need for my business and must have it up and running again. Short of buying the update - does anyone out there know of something I can try to resolve this? HELP ME PLEASE???? Karen

Just tested something and it worked.
If I put the headphones all the way in, the mac recognizes it as a digital output.
But if i don't put it all the way in, it recognizes it as headphones and works perfectly.
It's probably this crappy headphones.
If anyone has the same problem, try this out.

HELP - the application Adobe Illustrator CS2 quit unexpectly

Hi, I have a room of networked Mac's (G4) OS 10.4.6 and we have had all twenty machines running CS2 and everything working fine.
Now that the machines haven't been used for a while I can only get 7 of the machines to work on CS2.
I get this error message when opening a new or saved document in illustrator " the application Adobe Illustrator CS2 quit unexpectly".
Version of Illustrator is 12.0.1 Any Ideas?

If your external drive does not have an independent power supply, you may wish to consider a couple of lower-cost options before tossing the drive. Bus-powered drives have no external power source and must get all their power from the computer. They can exceed the computer's USB energy budget.
Cheapest option:
1 Meter USB 2.0 A to 5 Pin Mini B Cable - Auxiliary USB "Y" Power Design for external hard drives.
This gets power from two of the computers USB porst sna can provide enough power to wake up an under-performaing bus-powered drive.
If you don't have enough ports to use this, try the next cheapest option:
Newer Technology 7 Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Hub with Power Adapter for Mac & PC
Such a hub has a an independent power supply to make up for wahat the comptuer fails to provide.

Help! Photoshop CS3 liscensing quit working!

ok so I have had CS3 design suite for a few years now and I have never
had any problems, the past few months I keep getting errors saying the liscensing on this product has quit working and I need to uninstall and reinstall to fix it. I looked this problem up on the internet and found an article on adobe's site telling me to fix the flexnet issues and whatnot. I did everything it told me to do and photoshop still wont launch, continues to give me this error! I uninstall the program and reinstall and it works fine for about 3-4 days then starts this all over again...I am at the end of my rope here, cant get any work done cause photoshop is always down. I am running windows vista, would this be part of the problem maybe? any help would greatly be appreciated, Im not sure at this point if I should get a new version of windows or a new computer or what...something is not right with it and I cant keep doing portrait sessions without being able to deliver proofs in a timely manner!

photographs each time I launch and Adobe seems to continue to give me the excuse
they are working on the problem of catalogues they are aware

Is the phone turned off = quit working?
try a reset, hold down the home/sleep button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for your phone to boot back up.

Angry birds rio quit working on my ipad. When I try to start the game, it shuts down completely and goes to the main menu screen. This started when I downloaded the latest app. The other angry bird games still work. I really need help.

Have you tried closing the app completely ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Angry Birds 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Angry Birds app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

My Compaq presario CQ62 219 WM does not come on, no lights sounds nothing, the fan quit working a while back but it would auto shut down at 92 deg. occasionally, so it didn't run hot very often at all. Then one day the screen just went black with a cursor at the top left corner and wouldn't do anything, wouldn't let me turn it off or on, nothing at all and I had to let the battery die and now it don't do anything. The power cord works fine for another HP laptop I have, I have switched the hard drive and ram sticks and it didn't change anything, not even the power light that is supposed to be on at all times when the cord is plugged in don't come on... any help please? I have too much tied up into this notebook wih programs and such to lose it all, just to name a couple I have adobe creative suite 5, microsoft office pro, and others (I need these programs for my college classes ASAP I can not afford to re-buy the programs). I mean really the battery went out on it just 10 days before the initial 1 year waranty ran out luckily and then 10 days after it ran out of waranty the fan went out.. I am not so worried about having to replace the fan it is rather cheap on Ebayonly like 9.49 I believe it was, and not to mention other than it breaking down on me just as the waranty went I really liked this notebook as it was plenty fast enough and worked well with my assignments for college and such as well as all the other gaming and hobbies I have on the notebook.. I had planned to buy upgrades from tthis site and build it up some as I'll be needing a bigger one once I graduate and start using it for my carreer (bachelors in technoligy in web design and I plan to add to that with a few other associates and such to exspand my opertunities for a while all in computer/internet/graphics/gaming areas of study). Hey there,
I would first try a hard reset to see if it bring the computer back to life.
To Perform A Hard Reset
Shut down the computer by going to the Start menu and selecting shut down. (If you have no display, hold the power button down for 5 seconds)
Disconnect the AC Adapter from the notebook.
Remove the battery from the bottom of the notebook. There will be a switch/button to eject the battery.
Wait at least 1 minute with all power sources disconnected.
Re-insert the battery and reconnect the AC Adapter and then attempt to power on the notebook.
This will completely remove all power from the computer and then reintroduce the power, which sometimes resolves these types of issues. Are you about to see the power on screen or get into the BIOS when you turn it on?

Help! Ethernet quit working on installation

I would appreciate any help with this problem. I recently upgraded from 10.2.6 to 10.4.3 and with the installation my ethernet port quit working. The Enet light on my cable mode doesn't even flash and the computer doesn't pick up the IP address from my ISP. Its like the Enet is broken, but when I run the computer in OS9 mode, it works fine. The only problem is when I run the new OS. I would appreciate any input on this problem, it has me stumped.

you might need to do a clean install - if the port works under OS 9 it is clearly not a hardware fault. Before doing a reinstall, might also try adding a new user name and see if the problem is there too, and/or go to the network prefs and delete the ethernet then add it back again. Does the ethernet port show up correctly in the System profiler?
