PS cs4 horizontal ruler not accurate
I like to set lines for cropping on the canvas. The vertical ruler is perfectly accurate. The horizontal ruler is off by alot. This is on cs4. The canvas size is adjusted to be A2 (420x594mm) The crop marks are with the ruler in inches to 16x20.
This can be a problem with the specific printer driver and its utilities.
What does your image look like in the Print>Preview?

Panel interface horizontal ruler not showing in code
Hi I have just reinstalled Dreamweaver cs5 onto a new computer (pc), I have opened up an existing web page I am currently working on, only to find the horizontal ruler at the bottom of the code box is no longer showing as it was on the other computer, because my lines where long it was handy to scroll horizontally to keep my code tidy, the vertical ruler appears.

If you look under the document (Shift + F1) in SPROXY, click on Generation Tips.
It says,
If a SWCV that has been created in the SLD is not visible in the navigation tree in transaction SPROXY, note the following:
SAP components (Vendor = 'sap.com'):
The navigation tree only displays the software component versions that are installed in this system (see table CVERS, or choose System -> Status... and then the Component information pushbutton).
Non-SAP components (Vendor is not 'sap.com'):
All components are displayed.
You need to rename your namespace i guess. -
Set horizontal rule color in MX 04
I have Dreamweaver MX 04. How do i change the color of a horizontal rule? I have set it in code view but it's not changing.
If you want to support IE, Mozilla, Gecko and Web-Kit browsers, I think you'll find this works pretty well.

Define Color of Horizontal Rule
How do you define the color of a horizontal rule? The
Properties box allows you to change the length, width, location
& shading - but not color. Is it possible to change the color
within the code? If changing the color is NOT possible, is there
another option to 'draw objects' within Dreamweaver? Note: I'm
using Dreamweaver 8.0.

tag, but I believe this only works in IE. The better way is to add
a CSS color property for the hr tag. -
CS4 Clone Tool NOT Multithreading and CS4 Slow on i7 965 Processor
I noticed for the first time that the new clone tool in CS4 is not using all of my processors on my new i7 965XE processor. In fact it uses only one processor and this makes it run incredibly slow. I have also noticed that CS4 in general is rather sluggish on this hardware which is supposedly one of the most powerful processors available. I am running the i7 965XE with 8GB of Ram and still find Photoshop rather slow. I would expect it to be super snappy on this hardware, perhaps I need to optimise settings somehow, does anyone have any suggestions or is CS4 not equipped to properly address the i7 processors yet???

Those are not observations and represent two direct conclusions, both of which are incorrect. The first conclusion is that the clone tool is not threaded for multiple processors (it is). The second conclusion is that the lack of threading is what makes the clone tool run slow on your system (almost certainly not the case).
Implied in your statements is a third conclusion: that using more processors makes things faster (rarely true). That is a common enough fallacy that I felt the need to offer a more detailed explanation to help you and other readers understand more about the issues involved. I tried to keep that explanation short and simple.
I gave you an alternate hypothesis (small clone area) that could have explained your observation, since you didn't provide enough details for us to rule that out.
I also gave you more information about what is going on under the hood to help you understand why you observed what you did on processor usage.
Then I pointed you to existing topics that offer a much more likely explanation for the slowdown you are seeing.
If you had described with the clone tool slowdown without the incorrect conclusions and without phrasing most of your post as accusations, you probably would have gotten useful help from other users more quickly. Horizontal "ruler" title error. Should be horizontal rule
I'm using StarOffice 8, product update 11. I was trying to insert a horizontal line (rule) within a document. The Insert menu does offer the option:
Insert -> Horizontal Ruler...
When you invoke this Horizontal Ruler command, the result you get is a horizontal line (rule).
I believe that title is a grammar error. The correct wording should be:
Insert -> Horizontal Rule

My graph is dependent on the page items. What I found was when I load the page, item default value was displayed but it was not stored in the memory. Item value only gets stored in memory when the page is submitted.

Soultion : - Create a page level before header process and define the default value over here as well. This will resolve your error.

I'm not seeing the horizontal ruler at the top of my screen. I see the vertical ruler to the left, but, not the horizontal one. I did see it eventually after opening and closing a file a few times, but, this is disconcerting.

Timer Class not accurate and slows down my animation!?
Does anyknow how why my timer object is not accurate and why it slows down my animation that is also present on my GUI at the same time?

xfoI'm (being lazy and) using the older RT app posted on your last thread. I removed the
TimeNow timer from the RT class and used System.currentTimeMillis (as you requested) to
determine the elapsed time during the animation (see "startTest", "stop" and
"movingObject" methods). Also changed the DecimalFormat to NumberFormat and set the
"maximumFractionDigits" to "2" so it will truncate the fraction to two digits (more simple
than before). Made arrangements for the ShapeMovingPanel class to update the
"timerJTextField" during the animation (RT.updateTime method).
The MouseMotionListener is causing the animation to appear jerky and uneven. The
"mouseMoved" method is very busy while the mouse is moving. You might consider recording
the "mousePressed" events instead of the "mouseMoved" events, ie, the events where the user
is attempting to click inside the moving shape. It would allow the app to be more
responsive and might eliminate the uneven motion of the animating shape.

How do I rename one wrongly identified photo in Faces? I seem to only be able to merge two stacks of photos to the correct name, but that is not accurate. I only have one photo in a batch under a certain name, that is wrongly identified.
In iPhoto '11: Select the photo in the "Faces" stack, open the "Info" panel, click on the face name in the "faces" brick and then on the name below the face to edit the name.

hello there! i am using Adobe acrobat pro DC and using windows 8.1. Recently I was trying to convert a web page (includes Greek letters) into PDF. I noticed that the conversion is not accurate, some words are missing, some are misplaced. Especially Greek words are not accurately converted or even not converted. How have you been trying to convert the web page to PDF?
Are you trying to convert to PDF directly via browsers or using "File > Create > PDF from Web Page" option in Acrobat.

I have CS4 and was using a Canon 5D Mark II with raw photos. I just got the Canon 5D Mark III and CS4 now can not read the raw photos. It has raw version 5.7.0.213 and CS4 version 11.0.2. Can anyone help?

The 5D Mark II was first supported by Camera Raw 5.2 which is compatible with CS4+.
The 5D Mark III was first supported by Camera Raw 6.7 and 7.1 which is only compatible with CS5 and CS6.
So the CS4 will never be able to open Raw 5D Mark III files.

Search results are not accurate

am facing a unique issue in SP 2013. Whenever we search for a search criteria the results returned is not accurate always. Every time we navigate across pages, the search results change which is not
a desired behavior. However we also noticed that the refiner panel does not change as well and it retains the old count which leads to inconsistent results when user selects a criteria from the refiner.
any pointers / helpful links regarding this issue, if any anyone has surfaced, is highly appreciated!

According to your post, my understanding is that search results are not accurate.
I recommend to run a full crawl and then to check whether the search results are correct.
If your incremental crawl is running, it may happen that, when you are viewing the data in the search result web part, the newly added content are not crawled yet.
So, after the content are updated, wait for some time.
Let your incremental crawl finish. Then view the results on the page.

Now all CS4 applications will not launch
I have been working with cS4 for sometime now. I worked in dreamweaver last night and tried to open a file but it took forever so I tried to force quit it. Still it was not responding so I shut my computer down and waited for 30 minutes. I tried to open it again but after i click the icon it jumps on the dock for a few seconds and goes away. Now All my other CS4 applications will not launch either. I tried to delete preferences but nothing so I uninstalled it. I just installed a fresh CS4 copy but it still will not work/launch. Thank you. I am using mac OS 10.5 Leopard. Never had a problem with any CS4 before. All my other applications work well only Adobe CS4 will not

You would need Camera Raw 7.3 or later to open those files. Adobe is not going to update CS4. You can either get a newer version of Photoshop that comes with a current version of Camera Raw, or you can use the DNG converter to save your files down to the ACR version that works with CS4.
