PS CS4 PROBLEM grey screen no matter what I do PLS HELP!

So I installed PS CS4 and all updates. When I create a new file or open an existing one the window (in the PS window) which is supposed to show the photo just stays grey. At the same time that little picture in the layers tab showing a small version of the picture Ive opened is clearly visible and changes if I draw on the big one. That problem occurs both in 32 and 64 bit versions of PS. Im using windows vista x64 ultimate with latest updates and Nvidia 8800GT 512 mb with latest drivers.

You really need to use the one that came with your MBP. If you don't have it, a retail Tiger OS X disc should work.
also, could an archive/install potentially free up some harddrive space on my computer?
No, it will actually use more space, so you will need at least 6G of free space. To clean your hard drive, use WhatSize.

G5 dual 2.7GHz refuses to get past the grey apple logo screen no matter what I do!

Hoping that someone might be able to help, as I think I have tried pretty much everything and I’m running out of ideas now!
It’s a G5 dual 2.7GHz that refuses to get past the grey apple logo screen no matter what I do!
everything passes the extended apple hardware test (2.5)
3GB of RAM (2x1GB brand new from crucial)
won’t start from a original OS 10.58 disk
passes disk utility when connected to another mac via FW target mode
nothing other than keyboard/monitor attached

tried alternative HDD’s without any joy
won’t safe boot
stays at the grey apple logo screen and the fans then start revving up excessively
Any other suggestions or advice very gratefully received!

BD, is that showing up in your PM's extensions folder? I wouldn't expect to see it loaded in a PM, but I wonder why the installer loads it unless the 10.5 installer loads a system that could boot an Intel, too, when it installs on a PM. I recall seeing yesterday or Saturday on one of the discussion threads someone having that extension show up in a verbose boot on a PM that was having problems booting into Leo. I think I advised trashing the kernel caches and touching Extensions in that one, but it is puzzling that it shows up here as well.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Could also be not enough free space for the iPad to operate efficiently. With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
If neither of these suggestions helps, Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

- Try restoring it via iTunes on your computer. First restore from backup and if problems persists restore to factory defaults.
- If itunes does not see the iPod see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will make it visable,
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
Next try placing it DFU mode and restoring it.

If restoring to factory defaults does not solve the problem then an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Is there a way to blow up screens no matter what app I'm in so I can see

I recently suffered a mini stroke and it effected my eye sight so now I cannot read small print even with my reading glasses. On the iPad, I can blow up the screen in most cases but some apps like Facebook I cannot allow you to blow up the screen. Is there any way to blow up the screen no matter what app I'm in??
Also, kind of related to not being able to see...I recently discovered iTunes Radio. I was going thru and adding playlists to my stuff. Seemed easy enough. Until I reopened it today and I see "purchased" next to the only one listed playlist there. Now, I picked about 5 or 6 from their list of recommended list and did not once see anywhere where I was going to be charged. Now mind you my eye sight is messed up but what happened to the little box that would pop up and ask you if you were sure you wanted to make this purchase?? How can I get that back?
And, finally, since I've made this purchase unknowingly, to an account that has no money in it, how do I change my billing info with Apple?

Use RECOVERY MODE.
Boot from another drive with a copy of OS X too is always good.
A Safe Boot at a minimum.

Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

It is too late to backup now, the disc is already malfunctioning.
Backup is what you do before things break.
Take it in and hope that something can be recovered, don't be surprised if it can't.

This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.

Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.

iTunes Radio is not yet available in Canada.
According to this Apple Support page, it is currently only available in the US and Australia which is revealed half-way down the page, between the two matrices.
For those with an aversion to scrolling, or with TL;DR issues, simply ⌘-F "iTunes Radio availability by country".

You are someone had to put a check in the box to encrypt your iPhone backup.
Warning: If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and then forget your password, you will not be able to restore from backup and your data will be unrecoverable. If you forget the password you can continue to do backups and use the device, however you will not be able to restore the encrypted backup to any device without the password. You do not need to enter the password for your backup each time you back up or sync.
If you cannot remember the password and want to start again, you will have to do a full software restore and when prompted by iTunes to select the backup to restore from, choose Set up as a new device.

Grey Screen...what did I do?

Hi I started up a few programs (Quicktime and Alias) on my MBP and connected my bluetooth mouse this morning and this grey screen came down and told me to restart my computer. This happened a few times last year, but hasn't happened again until now.

The pertinent line appears to be this one:

This refers to the Logitech Control Center. Some time in the far or recent past you've installed a driver for a Logitech Device - keyboard, mouse etc. This driver (or daemon) appears to be causing a problem. If your bluetooth mouse is by Logitech then perhaps you should look on Logitech's website to see if the current driver you're using requires an update because of known problems. If you don't have a Logitech device anymore then use the disk you used to install the driver initially as there should be an Uninstaller included.
The gray curtain descending down the screen is usually called a 'kernel panic'. This user provided tip explains more:
