PS CS6 Download and Serial No. not working - deactivation required?

Hi
Can someone please help me.
I have CS6 but just changed computers to an iMac with no drive. I found the link to download the standalone program but it's not accepting my serial no. I did a bit of research and it looks like I had to de-activate cs6 on my previous computer but I no longer have access to the computer.
I'm supposed to contact customer service but can't find a contact no. or email address for customer services. So hoping someone here can help.

Did you hit the blue "Still Need Help?" button. 
When I click it, this is what I get.  I'm in California so it may be different in your region. I don't know.

  • CS6 Master Collection Serial Key not working!!!

    apparently I have 2 active serial no. for cs6 in my account but non of them are working. the first one was working for about 2 years and it stop working suddenly, then they said that it was a problem for Adobe so they gave me the second one. but this one is not working either. I've asked them and they told me that the first one is active now and I should use that one. but it still says it can not validate my serial no. . so I asked them again and they told me maybe I should download the master collection again but honestly I didn't do that. I have a limited connection to the internet and that would take me days to download that all again.what should i do now?

    Maybe you could visit somewhere where you can have a better internet service, or find someone who does and have them download the programs to removable media.  If you cannot find a way to redownload the files and do what they told you to do, then your only recourse is to get back to them and convince them to work with you to resolve this.  No one in this forum can perform any service for you relative to your serial number.

  • Purchasing additional download bundle, serial number not working

    I got an email last Wednesday that said I was out of downloads. I followed the link, purchased some more and received an email from Adobe with a serial number. When I put the serial number in it says that "serial number not valid".
    I've gone through 20 layers of customer support at Adobe and nothing has been resolved. I tried the serial number agian this morning and still got the serial number is not valid.
    I need to get to the right person at Adobe.

    again, if you repeatedly lose connectivity make sure you're using a wired, not wireless connection or use a more stable wireless connection.
    or you could use a download manager that allows you to continue downloads when they are interrupted.

  • HT1459 I tried to restore my daughters ipod and it has a download on the itunes. I tried to open the download and that did not work. Her ipod is still disabled after the 5 hour download. What should I do now? Thank you. Sam

    My daughters iPod is now disabled because of my youngest daughter trying to get on it while away. I tried to restore it as per instructions via support site. It took 5 hours to do the download. I left it over night and in the morning I found the iPod still disabled. I have a download on iTunes so I tried to click on that and it won't open. I have to admit, I am not a computer wizz here. Could someone possible direct me to what I should do now? Thank you.

    Error 1604
    This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
    If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
    Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
    Restore and wait for the error.
    When prompted, click OK.
    Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
    The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
    Try to restore again.

  • Can't Download Updates: Serial Number not working

    Hi all,
    I'm hoping someone from Apple might read this- don't know where else to go to ask...
    I am new to FCP....just beginning to understand and use the program after having installed it many months ago. The software was a gift from a friend who wasn't using it... FCP 5.1.4 and early versions of Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Cinema Tools, etc. It's all legal, and my good friend who gave it to me is a very ethical person...everything came in the original box, original packaging, Apple discs, etc.....no copies of anything.
    I remember when I first installed it I had some issues with the serial number, and there seemed to be two different serial numbers...one on the install discs and another on some other stickers that were on the manual or in the box...
    The problem is that I'm out of the US right now and only have the discs- and the box and Manuals are back in the states in storage.
    Now that I am finally understanding the program and getting turned on to do cool things with it, it occurred to me to go looking for any reliable free-stuff I could find for it...and so I first went to Apple to look for updates and plugins.
    When I enter the serial number on the install discs (which is the same one that comes up in "About Final Cut Pro") the Apple site tells me it's an invalid serial number. I triple-checked whether I made any mistakes...so I know I typed everything in exactly as it is on the disc sticker.
    I know the software is legitimate- but the other serial number which I think helped me register the software in the first place is many thousands of miles away from me....
    Any suggestions? Other than that, why would this stuff have more than one serial number anyway?
    Finally, if You are aware of any worthwhile free stuff for FCP, let me know!

    5.1.4 is as high is that version went. The next version was 6.0 (part of Final Cut Studio 2), and that was a paid upgrade. We are now on FCP 7 (Final Cut Studio 3).
    and there seemed to be two different serial numbers...one on the install discs and another on some other stickers that were on the manual or in the box...
    The ones on the disk? There aren't any on the disk. The real serial numbers are the ones on a sheet with the manuals.
    But, you are as high as you can go...so no need for updating.

    Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?
    If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

    The most likely explanation is that you downloaded the Creative Cloud version of Lightroom instead of the standalone version of Lightroom (which you can download from here).
    If that doesn't work, you'd need to provide a lot more details, including version of Lightroom, operating system, and exactly what you are doing that doesn't work.

    I purchased PS4 on EBAY, un-opened package, brand new, serial labels look real and cd looks real?
    1st problem was CD wont install, drive dosent even recgonize it al all,
    Someone suggesed downloading trial then entering serial number, works 1st time, but 2nd time opening up program serial comes up in-valid.
    Seller said this was due to old photoshop being on my computer, and old registry files still being on system, causing serial number not to work. I had photoshop7 on my computer, I took PS7 off computer and did a registry cleaner (Eusing)
    This still didnt work.

    Anyone know of any fixes?
    Friend of mine suggesed going in and manually deleting reg files thru regedit.. but I am not techie at all and have no idea how to due this.

    because of corrupted registry key, which is typically made out of
    a serial number. Think of registry key is as the id for an installed
    software that prevents installation of the same software again.
    Windows thinks the previous photoshop and new one are the
    same software even though they are different versions. So it
    won't allow another installation of photoshop. Uninstalling
    previous version of photoshop does not delete the registry key.
    So the new serial number you entered is rejected because the
    registry key is already there.
    Unless you delete the registry key for a previous version of
    photoshop, the same thing you have just experienced will
    happen whatever the version of photoshop you try to install.
    The best way to remove the corrupted registry key is to reinstall
    your Windows(initialize), then install the new photoshop. It's
    guaranteed to work. Back us your system if you need. It's best
    let pro handle backing up your system, reinstall you windows
    and removing corrupted registry key.
    There is free software that said to remove corrupted registry key
    but we have never seen they actually worked. Taking back up
    and reinstall Windows is the simplest way we have seen so far.
    We don't know why Adobe said it's invalid where it is
    authenticated."
