PS CS6 not working.

I can't open my cloud version of PS CS6, I had a box asking me whether I wanted to supply Adobe with feedback or something, I closed the box and ever since PS keeps crashing. It tries to load but as soon as the interface is loaded a blank white box appears and then I get the spinning wheel of death and am forced to quit. Any Ideas?

it been working fine for the past couple of weeks, no problems. Only after this Adobe participation request box thing. Just tried again now and it tries to launch (Adobe splash graphic pops up for a few seconds), I get the top menu bar, file, edit etc but when I scroll over them all the drop downs are greyed out...

Help! Upgrade Fireworks CS5 (from Creative Suite 5 Web Premium) to Fireworks CS6 not working!

Today I bought and downloaded Fireworks CS6 from the Adobe webshop as an update for my Fireworks CS5 that was included in my Creative Suite 5 Web Premium-set.
But during the installation of Fireworks CS6 the serial number of my Creative Suite 5 Web Premium - needed for the installer to verify that I could 'legaly' upgrade - was not accepted! So now I can use Fireworks CS6 only as a try-out-version...
What can I do? If Creative Suite 5 Web Premium isn't the right upgrade-version: how can I get my money back? Or is there another solution?

Thanks for the reply. but how do I manually weed out the install entries in my registry? could you please guide me with the steps? This http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html is not working I am afraid. I understand that I need to uninstall the creative suite before I run CS cleaner. But as I explained in my first question, the uninstallation is not working at all. Even I could uninstall the software, I am afraid that I may get into trouble if installatin is not working. All I want is that my photoshop error " save for web devices " which was grayed out should work as normal. This error happened after I moved the plug-ins.

Media Encoder CS6 not working with Premiere

Hi
I have been merrily editing a lager job in Adobe Premiere CS6 and then queuing the time lines to export in media encoder CS6 done the entire job everything rendered fine then Bam all of a sudden when I try and render I get all the audio a couple of frames of video then just black!!
I have tried different codecs same result, I have tried different timelines same result, When I export directly out of Premiere without going through Media encoder all works fine, when I try encoding a file directly in media encoder works ok, It just seems to be the link between Premiere and Media encoder that not working as it should
Anyone got any ideas?

Any chance this gets fixed soon? I'm shooting with an AF-100, and at this point I'm still using Final Cut to transcode my footage so I can have audio. I've also noticed the video jumps around even when it does have audio. Prelude has been extremely problematic for me, and it doesn't have a way to bring in clips that returned errors upon importing, I have to write down the clip numbers and bring them in individually. I've also tried just dropping the file structure from the card straight to the hard drive. It's a huge problem, and is keeping me from making the switch fully from FCP 7.

Edit in Photoshop CS6 not working

I recently upgraded to lightroom 5 and CS6 and for some reason I can no longer us the "edit in CS6" option. Lightroom will go as far as to open photoshop, but won't open the image which I have set to open as an 8bit PSD sRGB. Any ideas?

Ah, OK so I assume the admin account works, the other doesn't? Have to say I'm not savvy enough to understand what Photoshop/LR need in terms of items in the main account to make this all work. I might have to try that test on this end as I have two accounts too. I use the 2nd for trouble shooting. I suspect the primary account has something, somewhere in the user Library installed by Adobe that is accessed where it might not be in account #2.
If one account works, the other doesn't, we have to pinpoint what files are missing from the account that doesn't work.

Premiere Pro/Prelude CS6 not working with AVCHD from Canon HF G10

I just tried switching from Final Cut Pro 7/X to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and have not been able to get Premiere Pro or Prelude to work with AVCHD footage from my Canon HF G10. The system runs Mac OS X 10.7.4 on a 3.4 GHz quad-core iMac with 16GB of RAM and 10Gbit/s Thunderbolt RAID for video storage. Adobe Updater ran yesterday and installed CSXS infrastructure updates which did not fix the problems.
After importing several short (less than 5 minutes each) 1080p30 clips into Premiere Pro, I can scrub over the first few seconds of a clip but afterwards it stalls or mixes in frames from the beginning of the clip. Rendering 30 seconds of video does not complete in reasonable time, i.e. takes more than 5 minutes. I figured I would try ingest the footage with Prelude and am running into the same problems. Scrubbing does not work, only the first few seconds from a clip are available. When configuring Prelude to transcode on ingest, I am getting "Import XMP failed" errors. I already spent several hours trying to figure this out. In the meantime, I finished the project using Final Cut Pro X :-\

Adobe Lightroom 4 edit in PS CS6 not working

When I try to edit in from within Lightroom 4, the system returns the following error: Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application.
I am working on an iMAC
I have reinstalled PS CS6 and Lightroom 4
I have tried it with Lightroom 2 and it works fine

After Effects CS6 not working on yosemite

I upgraded my MAC OS from Mavericks to Yosemite and After Effects suddenly does not work. It says that the version cannot be used in the current OS X version. I have searched and did all the suggested solution available on the internet. I have reinstalled and installed after effects CS 6 and downloaded the updates (11.0.4). But it says that the update is not applicable for the product. What is odd though, the other CS6 programs are working properly other than After Effects. What should I do? any help??

Try fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications
Then try updating within another Adobe app.

Hi im unable to get cs6 to work for me using cloud? it keeps telling me my trial is over even though ive paid every month since June last year? ive tried deleting and reinstalling ect ect help!! there is no point me having this if i cant use it x

Everything looked normal with your account but it didn't appear you had completed the 30 day license check.
My recommendation would be
- Launch Adobe Application Manager from either the Start menu (Windows) or Applications folder (Mac) and install all available product updates.
- Once this is complete launch whatever product was showing up as a trial and click the "License this software" and sign in with your Adobe ID.
If the next time you launch the product it is still coming up as a trial, you might try creating a new administrator account and going through the "License this software" process again

Photoshop cs6 not working

I have a macbook pro, running yosemite and my photoshop was working. Today I tried to open and it kept hanging up and becoming unresponsive. I tried to reinstall and update and it still is not working.
I cannot think of anything new or different that I have done with computer. I also opened illustrated and indesign without any problems.It is a creative suite design and web premium bought about 2 years ago as a student.I don't know what else to try. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Just an FYI for you and anyone else who reads this: holding the Shift key as you start Photoshop will give you the option to skip loading third party plugins.

Filters in CS6 not working

I have the CS 6 abd some of the filters like graphic pen & photocopy not working. The field i am working is sRGB.

The Gallery Effects filters (aka Filter Gallery) only work in 8 bit/channel RGB or Grayscale.
Many of them do use the foreground and background colors - so the result can vary when you change colors.

Photoshop CS6 Not Working with OS Mavericks

I can't get photoshop cs6 to behave properly now that I've upgraded to OS Mavericks. For that matter - I can't get InDesign or Illustrator CS6 to behave properly either.
When I use the File Open, File Save, and File Save As commands I immediately get the pinwheel that spins without end. It doesn't matter if I use a shortcut key or a the pull-down menu. I never get to a dialogue box. The pinwheel immediately appears after "Comm + O."
I've searched the forums and can't find a solution that works.
I've tried the following:
Removed all copies of CS5.1, CS5.5, and CS6. Reinstalled all CS6 apps.
Updated all CS6 apps to the latest version
Verified that I'm running the latest approved Apple Java from Apple
Updated my Wacom Drivers
Performed a repair permissions through Disk Utility
Unchecked "Displays have separate spaces" in Mission Control
Rebooted several times
Nothing has worked. Any ideas?
I'm considering using Time Machine and and reverting my OS.
FYI - 2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro

You (or TimeMachine) didn't restore all the files correctly, and it is crashing because the library cannot be loaded.
Your best bet is to reinstall Photoshop, and let Apple know that TimeMachine is not restoring applications/libraries/frameworks correctly.

Photoshop CS6 not working on new pc

I bought a new laptop and have installed my Photoshop CS6 on it, but it won't work.
I cannot open the old PSD files or even a photo or new blank page.

Just purchased since my old laptop was struggling to run Photoshop.
I downloaded my CS6 extended version directly from my Adobe page.
Photoshop opens and looks all good, but when I try to open an existing PSD file, Jpeg or start a new one - nothing happens at all
It has also started to 'not respond' as per task manager - at first it allowed me to keep trying to open things with nothing happening, now it is freezing and I have to close via task manager.
It even froze when I tried to open preferences.
I am currently waiting for a reinstall to complete
I have successfully installed Lightroom with no issues (just tried it, to make sure, and all ok)

Photoshop CS6 not working right

Issues are happening on a mac. using photoshop CS6. opening files from bridge CS6, trying to edit the photos and the photos sometimes goes black or scrambled. recently started to happen every now and then and now it's every time. I have uninstalled photo shop and reinstalled. I do believe that I have everything updated.

I don't ever recall anything being pre-highlighted in the list on any version using Windows, and I always remember that under most conditions you see only a list of layers under the click point - though when masks are involved with pixel layers Photoshop tends to think a layer covers the entire canvas, so it gets listed. Groups can complicate things some too.
It may be that given the way Windows controls work, highlighting something the mouse is not actually hovering over is simply impossible, or so egregiously non-standard that it would just confuse Windows users. I think it would confuse me if I saw it.
It's good practice to just name your layers appropriately so that you can easily find them in whatever list you're looking at.

We have used some expressions in an AE CS6 project to fill text from an external file. Here's an example:
