PS CS6 pasting text in the wrong field
If you copy any text to rename your file before exporting..it works fine, but it you adjust the quality setting first, it retains focus and accepts the paste..see video of the bug on my blog:

I have difficulty pasting text into the file name field (prefix only) while saving files. example: File name is Pic123.jpg and I want to rename it ABC123.jpg and I have ABC loaded into the WinXPsp3 clipboard. When I highlight\right-click\delete "Pic" then attempt to paste the ABC, I get either no reaction, or upon multiple paste attempts, the ABC is appended to the end of the file, after the extension, as "Pic123.jpgABC". If I delete this unwanted suffix, or repeat the process several times, eventually I can delete the unwanted portion of the prefix and paste the desired text. Sometimes it works fine first try, but mostly it takes several tries. I'm using Firefox 3.6.3 but the problem existed in whatever previous version I had too. This issue only occurs when using the delete/paste; I can always manually change the name by typing. A possible cause is that the server sends a wrong response header.
The server may not comply to RFC 5987 and sends a wrong Content-Disposition:attachment; filename header.

I can't seem to cut and paste text into the community message form?
It seems I can't paste text data into this field. Can you help?
Win 7, explorer. Cut and paste from any text source (Word, Notepad, Explorer) has the same result. As an example, In this form window I cannot paste. But, If I open a new discussion, toggle the HTML button, I can paste. . For some reason the reply form does not have the HTML button. So, it might be a Java/browser thing - something is disabled.....
I'll try Chrome and see if the same thing happens.
I can cobble around it, but I've never seen this in any other HTML form before... -
Site previews fine in Firefox locally, but when I published the site all the text is the wrong size
I am a rookie web designer. I recently created a site using CS6. http://www.joshuahetzler.com When I previewed the site in Dreamweaver it looked good in Firefox and IE. I published the site and now it is messed up in Firefox. All the text is the wrong size. Does anyone know how to fix this? Does it have something to do with my hosting provider? (I deleted a wordpress site from the directory an hourago and put this new site in its place) Why does IE display properly, but not Firefox...
Caused by a bad link to your site's CSS file. This is pointing to a file on your local hard drive which nobody but you can see.

Open your template and reconcile the path to your site folder. It should probably look like this:

I want to Append hyphen automatically after the wrapping of text in the dimension field.
e.g the text reads "I want to wrap this text". then if cell width exceeds after "I want to wrap" then it should be displayed like this "I want to wrap-" "this text".

Let me tell you what I have understood. I will create a variable having the formula (which i have earlier written) in universe. Whenever i need to use the formula in infoview, I will call the variable instead. That's fine. But again, I will have the same problem. If I do any change in infoview level, the cell width is bound to change as it is not the free standing cell, its a column among othe one. e.g.
A B C
1 2 3
4 5 6
(you can think B as the column). Any change(addition, deletion of columns) will certainly change the cell width of B. So, again I need to calculate the things, which i dont want.
Nita_here: I manually calculated that after 12 characters, the cell wraps the text.
I wonder if there would be a way to do the things dynamically.

Why can't you copy and paste text from the Dictionary widget?
I use this dictionary often, but I wish that I was able to copy and paste the text from it.
Just use the Dictionary application in the Applications folder. You will have no problem copying and pasting text from the full application. I just tried it and it works fine.

changing the text color of an input field is not possible. However, you can build a workaround:
1. take an expression box, place it exactly over your input field
2. change its text color and take the value of your input field as value being displayed
3. instead of making your input field disabled, make it hidden and show the expression box instead.
Thus, instead of enabling/disabling your input field, switch between expression box/input field to be displayed. I hope it's clear what I mean. If not, don't hesitate to ask again.

Multi-SCORM Packager Takes the SCO Title from the wrong field
I think I've just stumbled across a huge bug in the Cp7 Multi-SCORM Packager tool. Can anyone else confirm seeing this same issue?
I have a multi-SCORM course with several modules. Each SCO is set up in the LMS Manifest dialog with a unique ID in the SCO Identifier field (e.g. My_Course_Module_ID) and the SCO Title field underneath has the correct name of the same module (e.g. My Course Module). When published to SCORM zip files the imsmanifest.xml files for these modules are correct.
However, I've just discovered that when packaging up a number of these SCORM modules using the Multi-SCORM Packager tool, the resulting imsmanifest.xml file it produces is NOT using the SCO Title. When uploaded to an LMS the SCO Title shown in the LMS TOC seems to be whatever had been used as the Project Title field text in the Publish dialog at the time the SCO was published.
Here's the issue: The Publish Title field ends up being used for the file names of the output. So if you use a Project Title such as: My Course Module it will mean your HTM and SWF output file are named as My Course Module.htm and My Course Module.swf. The problem with this is obviously that the spaces in the filenames mean you cannot use them on the web. So, I normally use a lowercase name with underscore characters in the Project Title field (e.g. my_course_module) to ensure the output is web-compatible (e.g. my_course_module.htm, my_course_module.swf).
It doesn't matter whether you are publishing for SCORM 1.2 or 2004, the result is the same. The TOC in the LMS comes out with the wrong text string. The issue with this bug in the Multi-SCORM Packager taking the Title attribute for the imsmanifest.xml from the wrong dialog field means that the TOC strings displayed in the LMS are incorrect. So far I've found no way to resolve this issue other than manually modifying the combined imsmanifest.xml.
Has anyone else seen this issue? Can Adobe confirm if this is a known bug/issue so that I know if I need to log it or not? Is there a fix or workaround (other than manually editing each and every imsmanifest.)Shriyansh,
Are you using the Cp7 version of the Multi-SCORM Packager or the Cp8 version? I'm talking about the Cp7 packager app.
I've tried this Cp7 SCORM Packager on two different machines installed a year apart and they both do the same thing.
Here is my Manifest dialog settings:
Note that what I'm expecting to see in the TOC of the LMS SCORM Player is the Title field name of the SCO (About Working in Courts in this case). But what I'm seeing appear is actually not that field, and it's not even the SCO ID field above it. (I tried changing that field as well to see if its value was what ended up getting written into the imsmanifest.xml for the multi-SCORM package.)
What ended up being used as the Title of the SCO in the package turned out to be the contents of the Publish dialog's Project Title field.
I verified this by changing the values in this Project Title field for a couple of SCOs, published them to zips and then compiled them into a Multi-SCORM. THEN I was seeing those values in the TOC of the LMS player.
Currently, when I create a Multi-SCORM Package with the Cp7 app, here's what I see in the Title tags of the Organizations block:
As you can see above, what's coming out is NOT the SCO Title tag value from the Manifest dialog, and although it looks similar, it's not the SCO ID either. The value is in fact taken from the Publish dialog's Project Title field.
Weird. I've never seen this issue in any previous version of the Multi-SCORM Packager tool.
Any ideas why this is getting so badly screwed up? -
I have tried to look at reasons as to why this happens but i cannot find anything. If i type it in manually it works perfectly fine. The copying and pasting of text into the name of the file freezes and crashes the window i am in

Please let me know what type of file are you trying to print to PDF.
Is Adobe Acrobat installed on your system? What version?
Try doing the same with some other file and check if the same thing happens.

Formatting / coding text in the Lyrics field
As we all know, when creating a AAC audiobook with chapters/ or chaptered podcasts, you can include the text in the semeingly unlimited LYRICS FIELD. On an iPod touch for example, you can then read the text as it's being spoken. This is particularly good in the Educational model.
My problem: The text always appears CENTERED, not left justified as say lines in a poem should be.
Is there coding one can use so that the poem's lines/line breaks are displayed properly. I've tried <left> and etc with no success.
Thanks for any help or direction pointing you can come up with.
PS Question: Is there a limit to the number of characters one can put in the Lyric's field. Customize Basic Search iView with some text above the Search field

U can add a description to the search field in the search iView by customizing the sap.km.cm.basicsearch iView.Download the PAR file from the server machine or from System Administration>support>Portal Runtime>Browse Deployment>Save the PAR file in local machine and import the same to NWDS and customize according to ur requirement.

Pasting text without the grey backspace/tight paste
Hi, this question also applies to my MacBook touchpad...
I will select text, then right-click to copy or cut, the select a place to insert my cursor and paste. However, even if there is a space after the word where I want to insert, a grey shaded area appears and it pastes attached to that word in the sentence, then I have to hover the mouse, insert the cursor and hit the space bar in order to separate the two words. Sometimes it will overwrite a whole word if I try to insert the text before a new paragraph. This never happens in a PC unless you specifically place the cursor tight to another word before pasting.
I don't wan't to use keyboard shortcuts, so any advice for just the mouse/touchpad only as to what's wrong or how to disable this would be greatly appreciated.Nope. An external text editor is the best method.

AS2 contact form and php - works fine but only sends half of the text in the comments field ???
hi all - i have an AS2 contact form using php to send the info to my email address - it all works fine except this ..... rather than having an empty comments box in the flash movie i had added a whole bunch of feedback questions that the user can comment yes/no to in the comments box (my feedback questions were added into the input text box in cs3 so are there when the user opens the contact page .. i have set the maximum characters to 10000 so no worries that its that that is stopping it all coming through in the email ..... basically when i go to my form online and send it i get it through as an email but with only three quarters of the feedback text in it ...... i have tried a zillion ways a round this, tried other contact forms and php and always end up with the same problem ... any ideas any one ?
