PS CS6 Sign in
Hola,
Ok so I have a Macbook Pro and last week I purchased photoshop CS6 and I updated it to the latest patch. Photoshop itself works fine except every time I open photoshop a message appears that I have to sign in and register the product or it will stop working in a few days.
So ok, I hit sign in. Then I get an error telling me my computer is not connected to the internet or my internal clock is off. Both are wrong... I have internet and my clock is fine. No matter what I do I get the same message even though I already have gone to adobe's site created a account and registered my product.
Any solutions to this dilemma? I contacted the live chat and the guy admitted it was out of his expertise...
O another thing to mention for some reason on my laptop I cannot access adobe's site. Safari tells me the server cannot be found so I had to go on my roomates mac desktop to create my adobe account and register my product. I've read that this is an issue for mac users but I never did find any solutions for it... even though the mac desktop can access it fine.
No I'm not using creative cloud license. I bought the software off Amazon.com.
As for internet issues, I literally spent the last 5 days researching the problem and I've tried everything mentioned in every forum, article, blog, etc and nothing works. Yet... I have VWare which allows me to partion my computer so I can run windows on my mac and I decided to try adobe.com on my windows 7 software and low and behold I could access adobe perfectly fine. I'm starting to think it's not my issue why I can'y connect, honestly I believe adobe has problems with the Lion OS.
Anyways does anyone know how you generate a response code? I tried unistalling cs6 and reinstalling it and searching for the link in the installation that says "having trouble connecting to the internet" in order to go through the process of generating a reponse code except there is no link. To activate my Cs6 I have 2 options sign in now or sign in later. Obviously I cant sign in now so I have to choose sign in later. By choosing to sign in later cs6 automatically starts.
So how do I get generate a response code?
Btw is calling technical support better than live chat? Because to be honest my expierence with live chat has been A.) completely useless, B.) completely useless and C.) not to come off as a ***** but the grammer and language skills are so horredous I would rather try to diffuse a bomb with Helen Keller guiding me

last night I upgraded to cs6 creative suite and web design from cs.5.5. install went fine but will not allow sign in to register product. it says, can not connect to Internet or your clock time is wrong. I spoke with live help last night, they said to uninstall cs.5.5 after you deactivate it. They also, said there is an issue and to speak with tech support. Today, I spoke with them and was working along and just got disconnected, but, I received no call back. This seems to be a too common of an issue. anyway, I have uninstalled cs6 and reloaded cs5.5 and all seems fine. no doubt, there are rollout issues with cs6 creative suite, just from reading the comments, but for such a wonderful company and product, there should be no shame in telling clients I'll investigate the issues and get back with you, or yes, we are seeing some difficulties in some client installs and are working to fix the problem. at any rate, could you let me know what you think the problem might be, because I sure would love to get cs6 up and running. Clock time is correct and I can connect to Internet and I have turned off firewall (bitdefender), antivirus and antispan and tried the sign in but no dice. worked thru some of these issues with Matt,( tech. support) before we got disconnected. thank for any help you can give...... I definitely will be waiting to reinstall cs6 sometime in the future................Adobe Rocks.
Thank you, I've completed all the steps listed and with flying colors all were successful. The problem seems to be elsewhere. I will try to install cs6 again later today and let you know the out come. My question for this reinstall is: do I have to deactivate cs5.5 and uninstall it prior to the new install of cs6? And is there anything else I need to deactivate and uninstall prior to the new install of cs6, like acrobat pro or anything else?

I work at a college with a bazillion corporate licenses for cs6 and we are getting this stupid sign in required adobe ID message when we launch cs6 apps. The first machine i installed it on does not give the error but all the subsequent ones have either stopped working or are saying they will stop working. How do we make this go away? We do not have or want any adobe id or login or password tied to our systems. we have a strict policy of no internet access on our systems so they can not get viruses on our network. We do not want users to have any access to any l/p needed to run the software or have access any serial numbers as the prompt window suggests.
We need our software to just run when we click the icon like every other version has throughout the years. what is the workaround for this?

As far as I know, activation requires internet access

Please update Application Manager by installing CC desktop: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud . Launch Photoshop and try to sign in. Please let us know whether it worked.

Had a user call today with common Adobe sigin in issue; Can't use acrobat, won't open. No lockups, so it's the normal , deactivate/activate solution. Well the sign in page comes up, but continually spins, and tells me I'm not connected to the internet. What's up with Adobe? I had to log on to a server half way around the world to even log into the forums to ask this..

CS6 sign-in problems on Mac OS
I am having the exact same problem. I have installed CS6 on my iMac. I typically connect via a managed network, however to rule that out as a possible problem I connected via my Sprint MiFi. Same results. Still get the same error message. Cannot connect.

Already have LR5 & CS6 - Signed up for photo CC do I need to re-download?
I have paid licenses for LR5 and CS6 with Photoshop and other applications. I sigend up for the Photo CC and wonder if I need to downloand the LR & PS to activate CC? Also will I be able to retain my full license of PS and LR?
Since PS CC has new features, and it is a good idea to activate it, I recommend that you download it and complete the process. Same thing for LR

Getting Adobe sign-in prompts and ads when opening photoshop
I've just started getting PS CS6 sign-in prompts when opening PS after booting up and have now had this ad. Here's a DropBox link to a screenshot:

The pop-up shows that your CS6 install is for some reason running as trial install but menu Help does not have an Activate or Deactivate item available so you Photoshop install is not activated and can not be activated.
If a Photoshop install is Activated then the Help>DeActivate Item would not be grayed out... However if a Photoshop install is not Activated there should be a Help>Activate or a Help>Sign In item. A Help>grayed out Deactivate item should not be in there...
When Photoshop is installed as trial software Adobe does pop up ads for Photoshop these days the cloud. The pop usually includes how many days are left in the trial install. Since your pop-up does not include days left I assumed the trial period was over.
Running a malware scan is a good idea....
What version of CS6 does Help>About Photoshop show? Windows should show version 13.0.1.3 and Mac should show version 13.0.6
The subscription version of CS6 is version 13.1.2 which you should not have installed... -

Having let a free trial period (cloud) expire - I don't want to sign up, I now cannot access my Adobe Photoshop CS6 at all, or any of the Lightroom images I have processed in CS6 - what's going on?
Without a valid activation, the programs and their components simply cease to function. That is to be expected and perfectly within what a "trial" is all about. If you want to continue using these features, you have to buy CS6/ sign up for a subscription. As far as your images are concerned, depending on teh format otehr programs may be able to open them (read the part about salvaging PSDS on my Work File Safety article), but there may be limitations and naturalyl Adobe-specific features won't be avialable.

CR2 files aren't recognized by CS3.
Shooting with a Canon 5dMarkii. Windows 7; Photoshop CS3. When I try to open RAW (CR2) files, I get a message that the file type can't be recognized. I've not had this problem before. My "updates" says that everything is current. Help?
Your camera is newer than the last available update to PS-CS3, so you either need to buy CS6, sign up for PS-CC or use the free DNG Converter to make DNGs out of your CR2s that can be opened in your ancient Camera Raw plug-in for CS3. Another path which requires more of a workflow change would be to purchase Lightroom 5, and use Edit in Photoshop CS3 with LR Adjustments when you need to do final edits in Photoshop. The newer toning options available in LR5/CS6/CC are better than those in Camera Raw 4.x in CS3 so it’s worth the upgrade if you can. Be sure to do a trial to make sure your computer can handle the newer software.

When I open my Apps tab on Creative Cloud it doesn't come up with my apps it just says "Download Error. Contact support." I have tried re-downloading it 3 or 4 times and it still doesn't work.
I've downloaded it on my macbook pro. I had it before but deleted it accidentally when cleaning my laptop.Start by running the cleaner tool and reading the other article.

Har för lite utrymme på min C-disk. Hittade 3 Lightroom installerade i datorn. Tog bort Lightroom 4 och 5. Har kvar Lightroom 5,6 men det fungerar inte utan licensnummer och det kan jag inte hitta.
Är Creativ Cloud-medlem och har Lightroom installerat och uppdaterat. Borde kanske inte tagit bort Lightroom 5. Hur återställer jag?

Kann i cloud mit Safari nicht öffnen. Schwarzer Bildschirm
Wenn ich www.icloud.com eingebe in Safari erscheint ein Schwarzer Bildschirm. Die i cloud Seite lässt sich mit Safari nicht öffnen und mit dem opera Browser funktioniert es auch nicht. Ich weiss nicht ob der Fehler an Safari liegt oder ist es die i cloud Seite ?
Ja, eben. Der Fehler liegt hier:
mit Hilfe eines App Cleaners.
Warum? Die Programme sind ja nun mal die gleichen, egal ob Testversion oder Bezahlversion. Es gibt keinen Grund für solchen unnötigen Aktionismus. Naja, egal. Es bleibt dir nur übrig, das offizielle Adobe Tool zu nutzen, alle möglichen OOBE und sonstwas Ordner manuell zu bereinigen und es dann erneut zu versuchen.
