PS Elements 8 Organizer naming with Shot Date. Can you help?

I have thousands of photo files using Shot Date format "YYYYMMDD-001.jpg". The PS Elements 8 Organizer offers renaming by Shot Date "YYYY MM DD_0001.jpg" and the Edit / Process Multiple Files offers manually renaming to "YYYYMMDD001.jpg" but not by reading the Shot Date. The former format has spaces between the year, month, and date; while the latter does not. How can I import files using Shot Date and the naming convention "YYYYMMDD-001" etc.?
Also, the Shot Date format of naming does not seem to be available when importing from a file folder, only from a camera or card reader. How can I import using Shot Date renaming conventions when importing/renaming from a hard drive file folder?

When using two cameras for a particular shoot and wanting to import and sequence the by date and time the shots from both, it seems, again, that PS Elements does not provide a means to do so. Windows will simply rank by date and time the photo files. If then PS would provide a naming convention, the shots would all be sequenced chronologically.
Can you recommend a photo organizer which provides more flexibility?

Thank you for posting your list of installed Extensions. One of them might be intercepting the menu command. Since you have the Add-on Compatibility Reporter, it's possible that an older add-on that doesn't actually work well with Firefox 5 could be to blame. Could you try disabling the "HP Smart Web Printing" extension and see whether that makes any difference?
Also, you can simulate a print button on a web site by pasting this to the location bar and pressing Enter. You also can save it as a bookmark for easier access (when scripts are saved as bookmarks, we call them bookmarklets). Hopefully you won't need it for long.

Skip the iCloud sign in for now.
Once you reach the home page, go to settings and sign out of FaceTime and Messages. This should also sign you out of iCloud.
Go to iCloud in settings and sign in with the correct Apple ID.
If that does not work
Skip the iCloud sign in
Go to Apple ID.apple.com and sign in
Change your Apple ID to the old one
Delete iCloud account on your device with the old Apple ID and the same password.
Go back to the website, change your Apple ID back to the current one. You will receive an email to verify the account. Verify first.

I had a problem with my wi-fi. It was a greyscale colour and would not let me sign on to wi-fi. I took it to the shop and they said to do a factory re-set. I did this but I cannot sign on to my icloud to retrieve my numbers and messages etc. My wi-fi also still does not work. I am very confused as I was just using wi-fi a few days ago with no problems. I also have been noticing the phone slowing down recently. When the battery gets to 20% and I go on my emails for example, it tends to just switch off, arghh! Can anyone help?

Apps are developed by almost anyone and are vetted and approved by BB. If the app crashes, contact the app vendor. None of the Apps I have loaded have shown any problems.

AOL? Really? Search this forum for email issues. Some service providers have not upgraded to the latest standards and have problems with Z10 emails.
I have never had a battery problem and I have had my Z10 since Day 1 in Canada. There were many reports of battery drain issues with the initial OS, but the last release seems to have fixed that.
If you have battery issues, but you also have Apps that 'crash' I would suggest removing the Apps you have installed and run the device without them for a while, see if your battery performance changes. Some apps run all the time and consume much power using location services etc.
Did you format the Flash card while installed in the device? I have a 32G card in mine and it is working fine. Perhaps try another card. Make sure you use one with a good speed rating.

I recently viewed an email and received some sort of virus. Only in the email address where I view in infected email and only when using Firefox do I have a problem. When using the email address I can no longer send emails, reply to emails or forward emails. I can no longer view You Tubes when using FirefoxI. I can send emails, reply, and forward emails and view You Tubes when using internet explorer. I do not have this problem when using another computer. I only have the problem described when using Firefox with the computer which was infected. I prefer Firefox so can you please guide me in a direction to address the problem.

Hi. I've been a casual user of iTunes for several years. Now I'm moving and downsizing; I have to reduce a 4,000 CD collection to 1,000, and I want to put a lot of the material onto iTunes. But I'm so frustrated that I'm ready to walk away - or invest in a better alternative.
I've looked for advice online; it refers to an edit button that I cannot find inthe version of iTunes that I downloaded the other day.
My library is virtually all classical music and opera. I want to preserve the superior bitrate of the CDs, because sound quality is of primary importance for me. But how do I do that? Where's the edit button?
Equally frustrating is the fact that iTunes breaks material with multiple artists into multiple "albums". What is up with that? It makes it impossible to listen to. I just transferred a three-disc opera, and ended up with a dozen different files. This is insane - but, again, there doesn't seem to be an edit button to fix it.
Can someone help me figure this out, please? It scares the cats when I shriek at my computer, but it's getting harder to avoid losing it when all this work turns out to be a waste of time.
If it helps, I have a Windows 7 computer.

The main differences between iTunes 11 and earlier versions are the loss of coverflow and ability to have multiple windows open. Other familiar features have been hidden but can be revealed...
You can restore much of the look & feel of iTunes 10.7 with these shortcuts:
ALT to temporarily display the menu bar
CTRL+B to show or hide the menu bar
CTRL+S to show or hide the sidebar
CTRL+/ to show or hide the status bar (won't hide for me on Win XP)
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the old search behaviour
Use View > Hide <Media Kind> in the cloud or Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the cloud purchases to hide the cloud items. The second method eliminates the cloud status column (and may let iTunes start up more quickly)
If you don't like having different coloured background & text in the Album (Grid) view use Edit > Preferences > General and untick Use custom colours for open albums, movies, etc.
Use Edit > Preferences > Show list views for all media to do just that
From iTunes 11.0.3 you can enable artwork in the Songs view from View > Show View Options (CTRL+J) making it more like the old Album List view
View > Show View Options (CTRL+J) also contains options to change the sorting of grid based views

You need to upgrade OS X in order to upgrade Safari.

After the latest update to Photoshop 2014, something went wrong and started spray-like black oil on canvas. I have deadline with cover. Can you help me please?

How do I undo whatever went wrong after installing the latest update to Photoshop 2014 and suddenly when I tried to paint or touch up my illustration (book cover I'd drawn and painted, then scanned in and continued painting, changing. It's mostly done but I needed to send it like yesterday!!) OR touch up a photograph, black-like oily smudge-like substance sprayed around the point of the brush. I tried to fix by resetting but really didn't know what to do and probably made it worse. However, the problem happened after I updated the Photoshop Creative Cloud 2014 on my desktop 8.1 Windows and after a Tech helped update the regular CC Photoshop on my laptop 2007, 64 bit Windows to 2014. He promised to call back after giving it time to install but didn't for whatever reason on Friday. That happened to go up to the same update I did on my Windows 8.1 Windows. I have this deadline and really stressed. COULD IT BE THE UPDATE OR BOTH. REGARDLESS, CAN SOME EXPERT HELP ME UNDO WHATEVER THE UPDATE AND/OR I DID? Video keeps failing the harding test - working with stock. Can you help??!

I have made a music promo, unfortuantely i have had it back from MTV twice now as it keeps failing the harding test (to test to see if it triggers epilietic siezures).
I am working with stock from the prelinger archives, which - to be honest - has been a nightmare to work with for various reasons.
The wierd thing is, the test has failed twice, both on different areas. I edited the video after it failed the first time, then it failed on a totally un-related area on the second test, which the first test didn't pick up.
I am getting "luminance flashes" between 0.5 and 2.2. Is there a way I can filter these out in the edit rather than get the video sent back again? The "luminance flshes" can not even be made out to the naked eye. I have changed the problem areas, then it picks up something else once I send it to MTV again.
Clearly something is happening when I export the video and get it transferred to Digibeta (same file, same edit - just changed slightly), OR - something is happening in Final Cut pro when I export to DV tape which is making this happen.
£60 a time for a digibeta transfer is becomming quite expensive. Especially if I get it sent back again!

The "luminance flshes" can not even be made out to the naked eye. I have changed the problem areas, then it picks up something else once I send it to MTV again.
A flash that cannot be seen by YOUR eye takes place at the field level and you are probably watching your video on a progressive monitor that cannot display fields.
A test that indicates you fialed should provide a precise timecode reference for each episode. If not, or if the failures move, their test is suspect.

Without seeing your video, field by field, there's no way to really know where to send you for help. You do not seem to have the technical ability or facility to perform the quality assurance required by MTV. Their engineers should be able to offer some technical assistance or refer you to a good post production house that can cure your problems once and for all. However, it is a simple matter to apply color and luma correction at your current dub house when they do your transfer. They should be doing that for you anyway.
