I am trying to run Adobe PS Elements 9 training video. When I start it, I get a blank screen and the video doesn't start. please help.

Not sure which videos are you talking about or from where are you playing them. Please provide more details about your videos, browser, operating system, etc

Free Quicktime video training

My boss wants to develop some in-house tutorials on how to PDF a file, etc.
We thought Quicktime could record whatever we do on screen as well as our voices explaining what we're doing.
Is there a place where we could find free online video training to learn Quicktime?
Everything I found was for version 5 under OS9. We are running version 7.
Any help will be appreciated.

Most of us "pro's" use screen capture software like Snapz Pro X to capture the screen and built in audio (via the built in or an external microphone). QuickTime 7 Pro (Mac version) can be used to do a one click recording but it can't capture the screen.

Error in video training - Implementing two-way binding

During the Video training for Implementing two-way binding you have a slight error.
If you follow along with the video training the instructor misses the step of assigning the Value Object(DTO) as Bindable.
The instructor goes from adding the "@" symbol to the bound selectedEmployee.salary to running the application and it runs fine. To do this in the code you need to add [Bindable] to the Value Object(DTO) Employee.

Pre 9 element video

Thank you for the clarification.
On a Windows machine, there is a Recent Documents folder. It lists a number of recently viewed files. Those are kind of sorted by the associated program for that/those file type(s). What this means is that PrE is associated with PREL files, so if you have five recently Opened PREL files in that Recent Documents folder, they will show up, and all of your DOC, JPEG, etc. files will NOT show up. There is a limit to the number of files in the Recent Files folder, but I do not know what it is, and it probably changes by OS version, just a bit. Also, some programs will limit the display of the Recent Files for those programs. A few programs allow one to list different numbers of Recent Files, but not all.
In some programs, if one Deletes the file, then the progarm updates and also removes that from the list. Other programs do not. Adobe InDesign is one such program, and my Recently Opened INDD files will show the list, regardless of whether they are still around the system, or not. However, as soon as I click to Open one, that has been Deleted, I get the message that the file cannot be found, and next time, it will NOT appear in the list. Sort of differs by program.
Now, I think that Neale has the method to get what you want, above. You can purge the Recent Files folder, and that should get you what you want. I do not think that PrE has its own, separate cache of Recent Files (PREL's in its case), but it might. Someone else will have to give you that info. I would pruge the Recent Files (or similar syntax - think that Vista might have called it Recent Documents?) folder, but this will remove all Recent Files from all programs' list. However, as you start Opening Projects, that list will be repopulated.

Trouble Opening Elements Video in Quicktime

I am having trouble with saving my elements video to be viewed in Quicktime. I can save it fine, but when it iopens in
Quicktime the video is out of sync a little with the audio.
I am taking video classes and it is required to be able to open them in Quicktime. I almost tend to think it is a compression issue of some sort,
but from what I understand they should be compatible.
Any ideas...........anyone???

Going back to the source footage, do you know the details of those files?
If necessary, you can use the great, free utility, G-SPOT to gather all of the details. G-Spot will give you details about both the Video and the Audio in those files. As you really have two sources, I'd run each type (the stock) and the other student's files through G-Spot and post a screen-cap of the program's screen, so that we can see those details. There might well be something there, that will point to the issue.
Also, when you start a Project, you are prompted to define a New Project. What are the specs. of that Project? The settings in the Project should match the specs. of the source footage 100%, or one will have issues.
Now, back in that Project, in PrE, when you play the Timeline, I assume that you have the full Audio, which is in sync. Is that correct?
I notice that the FPS = 15. Going back to the source footage, does that match the FPS of that source footage? Above, I suggest how to find out those details. If this does not match the FPS of the source footage, is there a compelling reason to alter this?
I understand outputting (Export/Share) to a different Frame Size (so long as it is the same Aspect Ratio), and that should not be part of the issue.
Last, some users (PrE and PrPro) have had issues with Apple's H.264 CODEC. That is probably the most common one, as it is installed with Apple's QT Player. As a bit of background, the CODEC is the device for both encoding and decoding AV files. For more background, this ARTICLE might be useful. There are a couple more, very popular H.264 CODEC's, that seem to give fewer problems, Lead and MainConcept.

Video Training loads all the videos

I don't know why, the livecyle three days video training page loads all the videos.
As it is loading all the videos, I think the flash player is running out of memory.
Flash player hangs!!!!
I tried this in IE 7, firefox and Chrome.
I am learing this for my current project.
There is not many learing examples as this video.

Official Oracle trainings are too expensive.

I have not taken any of their Oracle training. I signed up with them for a 'deal' one time that allowed me to pick any one course*. The Oracle courses were not included so I ended up taking their course for *1D0-541: CIW Database Design Specialist* because that was the only course available for a database topic in the 'deal'. That said I was not particularly impressed with the course. The video was professional enough. However, the course as presented spent a good 75% of the time on SQL. Since SQL is only one of ten sections in 1D0-541, that was ridiculously excessive. I'm confident that the instructor had used material from an 'Intro to SQL' style course for Microsoft SQL Server as the basis of the one I took, and just created a little bit of filler on the other topics to generate the one for 1D0-541.
That might be an exception to an otherwise great set of courses, but my introduction to their material was not positive. That said, I paid $1 for the deal. I will admit that I probably got more than a buck's worth of benefit from the course. :)
* Except for any of the courses I might actually have wanted to take.

Why wont elements video work

I have just ugraded to elements 12 fro 9 and the video editor side wont load although 9 was also a bust. It asks me to sign in and when I do nothing happens I can click on new project or existing and the little stripe does its thing then nothing

Do you have an active Internet Connection?
You need to Sign In to the program with your Adobe ID and password otherwise the program will not work.

Please check out the above in that regard, although, from what you wrote, you "signed in". It includes a description of a problem that I had with Sign In dialog.
Since you are having difficulties using Premiere Elements 9 or 12 on your computer, this suggests that the problem may be in the computer.
1. What computer operating system is your computing running on? Please describe it resources?
2. What video card/graphics card is your computer using? Is it using 2?
3. Are you running the program as Run As Administrator and from a User Account with Administrative Privileges?
4. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements 12? Is Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 still installed on this same computer?
5. Do you have 3rd party plug-ins and codecs installed on this computer? In reviewing your installed programs, do you see any likely candidates for conflicting programs?
6. You say that Premiere Elements 9 was a "bust also". Did you troubleshoot that at the time and what were you told were your problems? Or was that never defined?
Please check out the above and then let us know if any of it applies to your situation.

Adobe Premier Elements Video Editor will not open

I just installed version 12 of Adobe Premier Elements on my Windows 7 (64) system and am unable to open Video Editor. I receive a message that the display driver is not current and a newer version would make the program run more efficiently. After some time, the video editor stops trying to load. I have verified all windows updates are loaded and that I have the most current Quicktime version. I have also unloaded and reloaded Adobe Premier Elements but this issue continues to persist. Please assist.

What happens if you disable the Intel Graphics HD 4000 and just work with the AMD video card?
