PS... I have a 64 bit pc.

Just need my old DWMX version back. Have no disk, and can't get ahold of the guy who
originally installed it on my first pc. Does anyone have a clue about how I can purchase this
version, or get the program somehow installed on my pc that's replacing the one that was
stolen??

It's quite easy actually. First have your "iTunes Library Extras", "iTunes Library Genius", "iTunes Library", and "iTunes Music Library" backed up. Download ans install iTunes 64-bit. I don't know what's so 64-bit about iTunes 64 since Win7 reports it as a 32-bit application in the task manager. But anyway. Install iTunes 64 and launch it. If you migrated your library to another drive like me go to settings in iTunes and change the directory to your location. Close iTunes. Replace the newly created files with your backed up files. Launch iTunes. iTunes will load and then update your library and from there you are set to go! so basically it is just like a normal upgrade. But if you hesitated to go from 32 to 64 like me, here is your answer.
By the way. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with iTunes 64-bit and it works without problems and syncing with my iPod Touch also works flawlessly.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

A 64 bit Firefox version requires all plugins to be 64 bit as well and not many plugins have a 64 bit version.
You shouldn't have any problem with running that 32 bit Firefox version on a 64 bit Windows platform.

Please can anyone advise me on what Java update I download for a Windows 7 64 bit operating system. My Firefox is telling me I need to urgently update my Java but when I click through to update all that is there is a page of confusing information about 32 bit and 64 bit systems. It asks which version am I using 64 bit version of Firefox or 32 bit. I didn't know there were two, I thought when referring to 64 bit and 32 bit it meant the operating system of my computer. Of course, if you have a x64 bit system, its better to download a x64 bit Java version. However, i think Firefox won't be able to use it since Firefox isn't x64 bit (yet). So if you need Java in your browser, you'll need Java's 32bit version.
Keep in mind i could be wrong. It's just my guessing because i tried it out some months ago. I installed 64bit Java but Firefox couldn't handle it.
However in my opinion you won't recognize a difference between 32 and 64 bit, unless you play games in Java or do other resource intensive work. 32bit will always work on a 64bit PC, but not the other way around.

When Firefox loads I get an error saying 'the applications security component could not initiallize'. I have a 64-bit PC based system.

When I load Firefox I get an error message that tells me that the application security component could nt be initiallized. The suggestion from the error meddage was to see if there is a read/write restriction for the application profile directory. I have looked and found no such restriction on that directory. Firefox will load and allow me to look on the web, but many of the functions do not work. I have a 64-bit system using Windows 7 (64-bit version).

Rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] in case there is a problem with the file.
You may have to rename cert8.db (cert8.db.old) as well.
Firefox will create new files.
The file cert8.db stores user certificates and intermediate certificates send by websites, so if you have certificates that you want to keep then you may want to export them now and import them after having removed cert8.db.
See Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption: Certificates: View Certificates
If that works then you can delete the renamed files or undo the changes if you want to revert the process.
Also make sure that you allow the loopback connection with the Software Security Device in the firewall.<br />

The message then tells me to de-install iTunes and to install the 64 bit version.
Like I say, the 64 bit Setup version is selected for me, and it runs error-free, but I seem to have no control or ability to force the installation of a 64 bit iTunes app. And all the iPhones are inoperative with the 32 bit version I have. I have another PC, which I have held at an earlier iTunes release. This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64 bit version of iTunes.
That usually indicates that your Apple Mobile Device Support has not installed. That's also what is being shown by the diagnostics (the driver is there but the application isn't).
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts?

For TimesTen 7.0 and 11.2.1 releases the limit on the number of columns per table is 1000 for both 32 and 64 bit TimesTen. This can be found in the documentation under System Limits.

Itunes telling me I don't have the 64 bit version??

When I connect my iphone to itunes it says the correct software is not installed and that I should uninstall intunes and then reinstall the 64 bit itunes.
However, I already have the 64 bit version installed, it's version 10.6.3.
Any ideas how do I solve this?

I have win7 64 bit, and when I tried installing the new update, it failed. I tried reinstalling and still no joy. I have attempted this several times. This is first time experiencing this. Is there a fix in the works?

I have Win7 64 bit and when I tried to install the latest I-Tunes update it failed and told me to reinstall. I attempted the reinstall and got the same result. I have attempted this several times already even after following the recommendations from Apple website to correct this problem. I have installed numerous updates for I-Tunes and this is the first one to fail. Is there a fix in the works from Apple for this? I believe the update is flawed and should be re-evaluated by Apple and this update re-issued with different version #.

Most driver packages available from most computer manufacturers and chipset providers contain setup information for both 32 and 64 bit operating systems. The installer determines the version to install based on the indentified operating system. This is an industry wide pratice and nothing is wrong.
