PS Module: Function to Copy Standard Network

Hi,
Anybody knows of a function where I can copy values of a standard network in Project Systems module?

I'm not a ABAPer but I'll suggest you to debug the program SAPLCOKO and look at the functional modules (Function groups) that are involved.
Mentioned program belongs to Transaction CN41 -Create Network where you can create a network copying a standard network.

Use of Adjust function to copy standard config for Upgraded system

I have worked on a number of different ERP 6 systems that have been upgraded from previous versions.
Some of the basic standard delivered config will be missing and there is a simple task of using the "adjust" function to copy the standard config from client "001" to the developement client "XXX"
However I know have a client who has the missing config in the dev client "XXX" but when you use the adjust back to "001" there is nothing there.
Do you know a way to re-create the core config?
An example is in Dispute Management - if you go to the case type config. SAP delivers F_DM as a base - but there is nothing there.

Copy of standard network

Hi Friends,
I am trying to copy standard network template in CN01 but all activities are coming by default, I want to remove the activities but when i try to delete them I am getting message CP654- You can only select created records.

I tried that also. When I use copy function all the activities which are present come in my network as gray out & remaining one come in normal mode. When I remove WBS assigned to these from total tab& then try to delete i am able to do so but still it doesnt get updated.
Forexample, In the network template 730 activities are there in primary costs tab . These gets copied in gray out , but rest i.e.740 onwards are copied & these I want to delete , but system is not allowing me to do so. i am using CN02.
After removing WBS , I am able to delete but its not getting saved.
In create std network option, all the activities are coming & these are also i am not able to delete.

Problem to print Purchase Order created in RFC module function

Hi
I created a specific RFC function module for using in a BSP application. In this specific function module, I have created a Purchase Order (PO) thanks to the standard module "BAPI_PO_CREATE". The PO is well created but I don't manage to print immediately this PO but the spool is queued. Whereas using SE37, the PO is well created and printed.
But the customer wants to find the PO immediately in the printer
Do you know a simply way to solve my problem? I have the feeling that something is lost using RFC module function and the standard module function.

The issue may be because, its used in BSP application.

PS creating Opertive Network from Standard network, need to copy user field

Hello All,
has anyone tried to create Opertive Network(cn21) with reference to a Standard network. what we need to do is from the first line line item copy 3 user defined fields from the User Fields tab on the Standard Network to the header of the Opertaive Network and then on the additional fields tab put those 3 values.
I have look at the User Exits and i am now looking into the BOR.

Releasing standard network automatically when integrated in released proj.

Hi Guys,
I am facing the following problem:
In the PS module we have created several Def/WBS standard structures with NW and activities.
Once we have copied the standard template in a new operative structure, we add some new standard networks and rebuild the structure in order to fulfil the new operative project needs. Once done we release the project definition in order to release all objects in the projects, i.e. WBS, Networks, activities and material.
For some reasons and after the releasing phase we have to had new standard networks somewhere in the project structure on WBS level.
The problem we face then is that the new network and all the related activities do not get the release status as all other objects but still remain in the open status. How is it possible to set automatically the release status in the new network, as far as the project definition is released?

Hi Pierre,
Check the option in OPSC to release the networks immediately after the creation. This will release the networks as soon as they are created.

Dump occurs cause the function modules in that function pool u copied with z names.
those function modules are used again in that copied funtion pool.
so u need to change the CO02 function pool function modules to Z function modules in that Zfunction pool program.
paste the dump so we can infoprm u better..

Copying Standard PS proj to standard PS Proj and keep all the relationships

Not sure if i even have the correct forum or not but sure here goes.
I am trying to create a new Standard Project with all its WBS Elements (31 or so) all its Networks (31 or so) by copying an existing Project definition.
I have set up the New standard project with its WBS elements.
I can copy each Network to its appropriate WBS Element and the relationships within each network are maintained. However the relationships between each Network are not. Is there a way to copy a full set of networks and have the inter network relationships maintained as there is a lot of work in setting up each of these new standard Project definitions.

Hi David,
Since there is no function to copy the Standard Project into another as a whole, I doubt if the relationship will be copied.
A simple way to get around this will be to create a Project from the Operative Project and handle changes thro Validation & Substitutions

Standard network not creating project and WBS automatically

Hi,
I have a standard network with a standard WBS assignment at BOTH header and activity levels.
I created a link to a material in CN08 with this standard network.
Assembly processing has been configured.
When creating a sales order, entering the material... the network create screen appears and the system requests a WBS element.
At this point the system should have created the WBS element.
When I insert an existing active WBS element as a test..., the system message indicates that the network is already assigned to a Std WBS element.
Why is the system not using this assignment to create a project and WBS element form the standard structure?

As a test...
I've removed the linking of the material and standard network in CN08 - and the system now displayed a screen asking for standard network details.
I create the material and standard network link again in CN08 - and I'm back to the original issue of the network create screen appearing, but the WBS field is blank. The system is not generating the WBS.
So - the system is recognizing the link of the material entered in the sales order and the standard network via CN08. But its not using the Standard WBS used in the standard network AND CN08 setup....
Note: The Std WBS has the planning and billing indicator ticked.
Once again, when creating the sales order, I get the network create screen asking for a WBS element. If I insert an existing WBS element I get the message below. The issue is - I know the standard WBS assignment exists, why isn't the system generating a new operative WBS at this point?

Diagnosis
You have created a network by copying from a standard network. The standard network is assigned to a standard WBS.
However, at the same time, you have made your own assignments to WBS elements.
System Response
When you manually make assignments to WBS elements, the system does not necessarily take the asignments in the standard stuctures into account.
Procedure
When you call up the function replace standard WBS or when you save the network you decide whether the manually created WBS assignments or those fronm the standard structures are copied.

Copy Standard FM

I am trying to copy Standard FM IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS
( The Function Group and Includes ) .I am getting a message "There is more than one main program" if I double click on any function.
Question : Do I need to copy each and every includes into Z* ?
I fear since the Sub Includes are still Standard Incl.
when the performs are called would the passing variables still retain the value?
I am getting syntax error in one of the nested Incl.However allows me to activate the Main program without any issues?

1. The FUNCTION GROUP is VEDA
2. goto se80
3. open function group VEDA
4. Right-click on it and select copy.
5. Enter the new function group as ZVEDA.
6. Then it display all the function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and
ask to copy it to new name.
7. Prefix Z to this fm.
8. click ok, and then it creates everything.
<b>Now activate the function group zveda. and then try to click on that user exit in the fm ZIDOC_INPUT_ORDERS .
It should work.</b>

Error in standard network creation using BAPI

hi,
I need to create standard network using BAPI.
I am trying with BAPI_BUS2002_CREATE. As per the documentation, I need to call function BAPI_PS_INITIALIZATION. But, I am not able to get the required output since its giving me error.
Does anybody has used the same BAPI for standard network creation.

i have define the structure for my project which have WBS elements, network and activties. the strucutre is same for all the projects that i define.
i wanna know whether to use templete or standard wbs network and activities as templete for the project.
for a network there are almost 150 activties across 10 wbs elements i want this structure as a templete what can i do create it.
Further, how can i use LSMW to create relationship for ativities?

How to copy standard SAP list edit tcode IW28 , IW29 to our Z transtions...

Need two reports for Notifications List Edit, one for change mode and one for display mode.
These reports need to be copied from the standard SAP list edit transactions IW28 and IW29.

II. These fields need to be available on both selection and display variant screens. They will be grouped together on the Selection screen (as given in the layout). Also, these fields need to be variant configurable (include/exclude) on the Display screen. Report should make use of the ABAP List Viewer (ALV) functionality to permit standard SAP display results sorting, filtering, etc.
III. The above requirement specifies that the identified custom fields need to be added to the Custom List Edit Display Variant. In addition, the Order Header Short Text (CAUFVD-KTEXT) and Order Delay Code (WA_COCI_AUFK-ZZDCODES) should only be added to the Custom List Edit Display Variant.
IV. Delete the standard SAP section for "Selection Using IS-U Objects" and Display Variant fields from the custom list edit report.

Hi,
Copy RIQMEL20 program to your Z Program, and insert your custom fields.
But i think it will be very difficult since it has many enhancement point and it's not recommended. And it also will give you much trouble in upgrading time.
May be you can find screen exit for this program and add your custom fields, or just create your new z program.

I have copied the standard program GP49GVYDGHSFRBGM9CYT2E1I1S2 (assigned to the transaction code S_ALR_87012168) to the custom program ZFI*****, Could you please let me know how to configure the custom program to the node FBRD01RFRRD20 0SAPDUEAN-01 report type RE, with the new Extended Program Name so that I can use the same (i.e. the node report type and Extended program name) to assign it to new Transaction code (to have the same functionality as the standard transaction S_ALR_87012168).

Once you have copied the Standard report to ZFIxxxxx then proceed as follows:
1. Go to SE93 and input the Z TCode name and click on Create
2. Provide the Description and selelct the radio button Transaction with parameters (parameter transaction) and Press Enter
3. Under Default Values for there is an input field Transaction. Input START_REPORT
4. In the bottom of the screen you can see two columns Name of screen field and Value
5. Input the following with out any change
*Name of screen field*                         *Value*
