PS RRB not quantity on billing request DP91

Hi, I am doing Resource Related billing using PS-SD. I have configured the DIP profile. When using DP91 I am getting cost value of each material service that is fine; however I am not able to see quantity. When doing dp91 I get the quantity field empty.  I have checked the DIP Profile and the configuration in the material/service I have X Transfer Costs and Quantity.
Do you have any idea of what could be the problem?

Hi Andres,
I am fully aware about PS and SD integration but still i hoping that my solution can helpful for you
as per the issue while doing DP91 resource related billing qty is not coping . so my understanding if PS will have copy control concept then please do it
like example if we create billing with reference to DLY so from DLY system will copy the qty of material with hep of Billing QTY filed in copy control
Thanks

  • DP96 does not show the billing request value in simulation or update mode

    Hi SD experts,
    Another RRB related question.
    Unlike DP91 (individual BR) which you can run in simulate and see the amount to be billed, qty to be billed and net value before creating the billing request, this does not appear to be possible with DP96 (collective BR), even though the net result (after runing in update mode) is the same.
    Have queried this with SAP who have said this is not supported.
    Are there any BADIs or exits available which would allow these values to be shown in the ALV display when run in test mode?  The retrieval would have to access saved data (from VPKHEAD) or dynamic data according to the option selected in the selection screen.
    Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions on how to do this.
    Regards,
    Guy HInton

    Hi Guy
    what you need to do is this. run DP96 and choose "save extract" in the options on the selection screen. In the detail lst you then get a message "Extract saved" for each processed contract item.
    This will save the amounts to be billed in the cluster of tables VPKHEAD, VPKSDITEM, VPKDI and links to the dynamic item AD01DLI as well as contracts VBAK, VBAP and projects PRPS.
    These tables happen to be used in DP91 to store extracts as well. You will get a popup for all those contracts asking you "Do you want to use saved data?" now.
    What that ultimately does is that DP96 creates all the data holding cost & associated revenue.
    All you need to do then is create a bespoke report or SAP Query (or whatever you want to use), join the named tables and present it to your user. This way I created a Revenue forecast report which shows all revenue for time worked/cost incurred which we should be invoicing in the current financial period, but haven't created the billing requests or invoices yet.
    As said I just used SQ03/SQ02/SQ01 to create a simple infoset and query and it works a treat . Example of th join seen below. Note that you may have to alter joined table according to your needs potentially.

  • VBAP-SERNR is not provided in BILLING REQUEST as it is in the DEFAULT ORDER

    Dear SD Sales and Delivery experts,
    i would appreciate your support very much!!!
    We want the system to transfer the maintained field VBAP-SERNR from the document DEFAULT ORDER (Program: SAPMV45A / Table control: TCTRL_U_ERF_AUFTRAG) to the succeeding document BILLING REQUEST (Program: SAPMV45A / Table control: TCTRL_U_ERF_GUTLAST). But the table control of the billing request does not provide this field. The Screen Sequence grp. for the order is AU and for the billing request it is GA.
    Does anyone has got an idea how to hit this target?

    Hi,
    In the approver step there is ABAP class has been maintained (CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS) and the methods used is DUMMY.
    Inside the class there is another method (APPROVE)..The code of the method  which is standard is like that:
      DATA: request TYPE REF TO if_pt_req_request,
            event   TYPE tim_req_xfer_event VALUE cl_pt_req_const=>c_reqtrans_approve.
      CALL METHOD cl_pt_req_badi=>get_request
        EXPORTING
          im_req_id  = me->req_id
        IMPORTING
          ex_request = request.
      CALL METHOD cl_pt_req_badi=>initiate_state_transition
        EXPORTING
          im_request    = request
          im_event      = event
    *    IM_RET_VALUE  = 0
        IMPORTING
          ex_new_status = me->status.
    I think the status is coming from the code.There is another method like  SET_WF_ATTRIBS where the code for status retrieval is :
      status = im_attribs-version-status.

  • Error while creating billing request thr tcode DP91

    hi,
    while creating a billing request through dp91 we are getting an error mesage : "Error during material determination for sales document item 40000067/000020". i have checked the material determination for the material, but there is no material determination maitained for the material, the material here is a service material, after creating a contract we are trying to create a billing request through DP91. this is where wer are getting the error message.

    Hi,
    It looks like the DIP Processor cannot determine a material.Go you your DIP Profile and check the Material Determination settings
    Also run TCode ODP2 to check the consistency of your DIP Profile and also chk Material Origin field was not checked in the Costing tab of the material master.
    Check above and revert back.

  • Function Active but (BFS 'DIMP) not allowed - Billing Request Editor Web UI

    I am working on setting up the Billing Request Editor.  When I completed the configuration in the ECC 6.0 system and access the Web UI and enter my debit memo request (DMR) that came through my RRB (DIP) process, I get the following error:
    Requested function is active (BF 'SD_01') but not allowed (BFS 'DIMP')
    Has anyone received this error?  How can this be fixed?
    Appreciate any response regardless of how technical.

    Hi Sara, I have the SAP documentation that describes the configuration and setup of the Billing Request Editor.  It however is a bit cryptic, but does give a general guide with screen shots on the type of configuration required.
    I have gone through the steps and though I am able to get the editor's UI up and running, I have a few errors to work through.  I originally had an error stating that the "Customizing for Characteristics was not complete" but solved this error by ensuring that all Characteristics that were setup as "character relevant" for the specific DIP profile were entered in the IMG activity "Select Characteristics from Dynamic Item Processing".  I found that it this error was resolved when the characteristics were entered in the exact sequence as they appear in the DIP profile (ODP1).
    Since then I have come upon two other errors that I am now working through:
    1.  "Form of Address Key not defined" - even though I have updated the form of address keys and config with generic values
    2.  "H is not a unit without dimension" - I assume this relates to the setup of the unit of measure and therefore requires me to use HR instead of H for hours.
    Has anyone encountered and solved these two items?
    Sara, I hope the first part helps.  If you can't find the SAP documentation I would suggest looking up OSS note 1223103 and also check related notes.  The documentation should be attached.  I can't recall the number offhand where the documentation is found.
    Otherwise I can try to get it to you via other means.

  • Restriction of sales order conversion to billing request for projects not r

    Dear all,
    We have SD integrated with Project systems. Each of the sales order is linked to the WBS element of the project which has to be billed. Sometimes a project which is not released is attached to the sales order and while billing it doesnu2019t get posted to accounts because that project/WBS element is not released. Is there a way to restrict conversion of sales order to billing request if the project is not released?
    Looking forward for help.
    Thanks and regards,

    Define a new condition type and assign it to the pricining procedure
    In the requirement routine have a new routine and put a logic so that it compares the subtotal field A of nett price
    For e.g KOMP-NTPRC
    The condition type should apply when KOMP-NTPRC < =the draft amount
    You have to try this
    I havent done it practically

  • Using the Billing Request Editor in Web Dynpro

    Billing Request Editor has a number of functions that defer some of the DP91 functionality (postpone/reject) to Web Dynpro user interface.  For example, WIP (Reject, Postpone) and Accrue.
    On the WIP (reject and postpone) portion of the functionality it seems to go back to DIP and update AD01DLI for all items that were not billed.
    However for the portion entered on the Accrual screen it does not seem to go back to DIP and update AD01DLI. Only the DMR is updated. Why?
    If an accrual amount is billed to the customer for a missing/late timesheet using BRE and the timesheet is later entered/recovered would there be no requirement to go back to DIP and reject the recovered time sheet as already billed in the accrual or have the ability to reverse the accrual and enter the timesheet. It seems to presume that the user will keep this sort of reconciliation off line. Any comment? or am I missing a setting in configuration that brings the accrual back to AD01DLI for subsequent processing?
    Thanks,
    Alex Farber

    Vitaliano,
    You make a very good point.  And it is probably the way that we will go.  However, my task is to evaluate Web Dynpro and Visual Composer for our needs.  Especially since the graphing capabilities in Web App Designer are limited for our needs.  We will, at some point, have a need to combine warehoused information in BI with real-time data in R/3.  I'm anticipating that this is where Web Dynpro will be useful for us.  Therefore, my questions as stated regarding Web Dynpro.  I just find it strange that none of the SAP documentation elaborates on the topics that I am concerned with, even though tantalizing capability summaries are dangled throughout.
    Thank you.

  • Related resource billing. Separeted billing requests for each service order

    !!!!!! Dear Experts, help me!!!!
    The question's urgent!
    I need to bill collectively for my service orders, which means I need to combine several service orders into one single billing request (debit memo request) during RRB.
    I configured DIP profile, but DP95 creates individual billing requests separately for each service order.
    Thanks in advance.
    Edited by: Cyrill Colbinev on Aug 30, 2011 10:57 AM

    Hi !
    I hope you need to check it in copy control . Because there are some standard things which need to match for combine the invoice. like:-
    1:- Billing date,
    2:- Bill to party
    3:- payment terms,
    4:- Bill to party master data ( i.e agree to combine the invoice) etc.
    And aslo the copy control from the Order to Billing document in header does it allow you to combine or not.
    Hope it will help you.
    let me know if anything required.
    Thanks

  • Billing Request?

    Dear Experts!
    In last organization we were billing on the behalf of billing request.the document flow was-
    1.Sales order
    2.Billing Request
    3.Billing (Invoicing)
    there we were making Billing request using t-code VA01 and selecting a document type ZBR.
    then a number was given by the system on the behalf of we done the billing.
    **and when we do BRQ(Billing request )..open quantity comes for selection *****]
    can anybody tell me how can I configure this ...what is the name of this method(order related billing?)..I am little bit confuse...Please tell me all the customize steps.
    Regards
    RAMA S Sharma

    FIRST.... ZZ01 is a custom Order type....
    This is an Order Related Billing if Delivery is not required. BUT do you need to put a request out there??? What is your actual requirement??
    Otherwise, you can copy a DR.. This is a Debit Memo Request. You can reference the Sales Order for Order Related Billing and then the Billing Due List will pick up this Billing Type. But the DR type will have most of what you already need.
    Figure out what Item Categories you are already using in your Sales Order. Make sure the Copy Control is maintained from Order to Order and Order to Billing.

  • Billing request Editor.

    Hi ..
    How can we implement Billing request editor for RRB -Is there any different transaction for the same.
    Whats are the steps for the same.
    How is that different from the normal DP91 transacion

    The billing request editor becomes active thru transaction SFW5 or thru SPRO navigation, Activate Business Functions > Enterprise Business Functions
    The business function to be activated is ,     SD_01 and LOG_SD_CI_01
    Once you activate, the billing editor configuration will appear in SPRO as this opath " Sales and Distribution > Sale > Sales Documents> customer service > Service quotation/resource related billing.
    once u configure, then you can see edit  the DMRs. There is no transaction for editing it, it is web dynpro application and  search for link for web dynpro.

  • The item is not relevant for billing. 3rd Party Sale

    Hello, experts,
    I have met a problem in 3rd party sale scenario. Here is the situation:
    1. I have created a sales order using a 3re party item (item category: tas and billing type: order-related billing). And the PR is generated successfully at the schedule line level.
    2. In the next step, I have created PO with reference to this PR.
    3. As in my situation, the items are sent to customer by vendor directly, there is no need to maintain MIGO and MIRO.
    4. I try to creat billing with reference to the sales order and here appears the error. The log shows:
    "The item is not relevant for billing."
    There are actually many threads in the forum and I have tried much of them.
    I have checked firstly in VOV8 the sales order type->the order-related billing type for OR(standard sales order) is F2.
                                            VOV7 the item category type->tas billing relevance: F (order-related billing)
                                            VTFA the copy control->F2 with OR and in the item level, the item category tans is also maintained.
    I can not decide where the problem is. Any idee?
    Thanks,
    Fan

    Hi
    3. As in my situation, the items are sent to customer by vendor directly, there is no need to maintain MIGO and MIRO.
    This statement is absolutely wrong
    MIGO is optional in third party transactions and MIRO is a Must
    Third party item cat billing relevance is F
    F: Order-related billing doc. - status according to invoice quantity
    Relevant for order-related billing documents based on the invoice receipt quantity (third-party business transaction). The system transfers the order into the billing due list only after the vendor invoice has been received and processed in the purchasing department. After the receipt of each invoice, a  customer invoice is created for the quantity that appears on the vendor invoice. The order has status "Billed" until the next vendor invoice is received.
    Item category TAS (Third party item) is set up with billing relevance "F" in the standard system.
    This is the SAP explanation of F billing relevance
    Maintain the copy control settings in VTFA as suggested by the other friend
    Without MIRO you cannot invoice the customer in third party

  • Special G/L transactions not defined for bills/exch.and down pmnts ERROR

    Dear Experts,
    I am trying to park document via F-63 - Invoice Parking - General  to park  down payments made to vendor using following details in initial screen for F-63:

    Account number _1000
    SGL Ind ________A
    after pressing enter key the system prompt error message that is:
    Special G/L transactions not defined for bills/exch.and down pmnts
    Message no. FP030
    Diagnosis
    You have selected a posting key with a special G/L indicator of type 'Bill of exchange', or 'Down payment'. Document parking is not defined for special G/L transactions of the type 'Bill of exchange' or 'Down payment'.
    System Response
    Document parking cannot be carried out.
    Procedure
    Select a different posting key or special G/L indicator. If the posting is a 'One-time posting' to a rent contract, select a different transaction type or post the document directly.
    HOW CAN I PARK DOWN PAYMENT DOCUMENT FOR VENDOR. KINDLY PROVIDE SUITABLE SOLUTION.
    REGARDS

    Dear,
    Your special G/L "A" is set as Down Payment/Down Payment request, this is what cause the error.
    To meet your requirement just go to FBKP select special G/L "A" enter your chart of accounts and go into properties, change
    Special G/L transaction types to Others from Payment/Down payment request.
    Advances can be created as Special G/L transaction types Others
    If parking is utmost required by you then according to me you should create two special G/L for Down Payment. New created should be used for parking and default by SAP you can use with functionality like F-47, F-48, F-54.
    System is stopping you because down payment functionality is provided exhaustively in SAP so you should follow that.
    Please analyze the process exhaustively and implement to smoothen your process.

    Chintan Joshi.
