PS stuck to top menu. Unable to 'detach' to floating window... Please help!
I opened Ps as normal and went to drag it to a second monitor and botch it by letting finger slip off mouse. Now Ps is stuck to top menu bar. Unable to make it a floating window. It says it's in 'Standard Screen Mode'... ???
It looks like Window menu > Application Frame was checked.
You can try checking it on and off.
Or reset the workspace:
Window menu > Workspace > Reset Workspace
Or last resort: Reset Preferences:
Press and hold Cmd - Shift - Opt immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be VERY quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your established preferences, which will lead to them all being set to defaults.

You can find details on how to locate an interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot installation with install logs | CS3, CS4. That's usully symptomatic of a phone that was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it.

SIM of an iPad is located about 2 inches from the bottom at portrait view (not landscape view) on the same side of the volume button.
Use a needle to poke into the tiny hole of the SIM tray. With one swift pull, you should be able to eject the SIM tray. It could fly off if you pull too hard. So be careful of your strength of pulling. -
I updated to v 2.2 yesterday. The update seemed to go well and I was able to some TV shows OK. Turned it off. Today it wouldn't respond to the remote. Pull the plug and restarted it. It starts up and stops at the top menu. It doesn't respond to the remote. The light blinks when I press the remote but no movement through the menus. Not having iTunes running didn't help. I haven't tried it without WiFi yet. Any thoughts? Suggestions?
Next day, restarted Apple TV and it 'seems' to be working properly at v 2.2!! Time for the big re-sync...

Menu Bar disappears - slowly reappears... please help
I have a bug that's hard to reproduce.
I don't do much outside of your standard iLife apps, iWork, XCode, or adium.
Occasionally, and difficult to reproduce, the top "menu bar" will disappear, then slowly the apple icon will reappear (the rest still displays the background), if you click over an area such as "window" it will select & show the menu, and will retain, then suddenly the whole bar will return as if nothing happened.
Permissions are fine, system appears to be running fine.
Any thoughts?

The only plug in that would modify the menu bar is DockStar, which wasn't running when it happened (mail is closed);

I just noticed that a software update was available. I think it was iOS7. Did not really take note of what it was. But now my iPad Mini won't come on. it is stuck in a reboot and has been that way for at least an hour. Just tried to attach a picture of the screen without success.
If it was a phone, I'd have taken out the battery and just reinserted it but I can't do that with the iPad.
What can I do??? Please help!!!
Thank you.Much better to update your iPad's software while it's connected to a wall outlet via the cable and adapter that came with it. Do not update on battery power alone.

I have follwed every suggested step (twice) to restore my ipad to no avail. It is stuck on the usb icon (yes it is charged), please help.
Did you try restoring using Recovery Mode? Sometimes you have to perform the steps a few times before it works.
