PS Video missing in Z4 LTE German FW?

Hi! As an owner of the Xperia Z4 Tablet LTE in germany i´m currently missing the PS Video App or my available videos within the movies app, like on my Xperia Z3. Ist this currently a limitation of that fw? Please, bring us the PS Video App!

I am not expert in these, but please check out the following things and see whether it would solve your issue. (All these changes can be easily rolled back in case I'm wrong :). So make note of what you do)
As per your httpd.conf, you have chosen an automatic configuration of Apache by OWCI installer itself. What it does is create an imageserver.conf file in a separate directory and these settings will be included in your httpd.conf as you can see in the first line: Include "C:/bea/alui/plumtreeconf/".
If you check the imageserver.conf in that location, you would find a line like: Alias /imageserver/ "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/". This aliases the original path "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/" to /imageserver"
To confirm whether this is done right, check the following:
1. Acces 'http://<server ip / server name / localhost >/' from your browser
This should display the Apache home page (as per your httpd.conf, it uses the default port 80; so no port number required)
2. Access 'http://<server ip>/imageserver/' from your browser
This should display the directory structure (if its not disabled) inside your 'C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/' folder. Also confirm that all the subfolders are accessible.
3. If all the above is right, it means that your imageserver settings are right. Please check your portalconfig.xml for the correct settings: For example, <setting name="HTTPPort"> should be 7001 in your case. If its something else, change it and restart Weblogic for the settings to take effect.
Hope this helps.

  • Aperture video missing red channel on playback

Aperture video missing red channel on playback.  Also some pictures appear to have missing pixels.
Video played with Quicktime doesnt have the missing red channel.
When trying to playback video,in aperture, it plays with missing frames, missing pixels and the crashes entire computer. My computer is a Mac Pro desktop with 24 gb memory with 3.33 ghz 6-core processor running Version 10.9.2 and Aperture 3.5.1
    Any suggestions on my problem?
    thanks
    Pat

Never had anything before crash the whole system since OS8 or so.
Back up your system, without deleting older backups - just in case; that looks like a possible system trouble.
Also they some have been in Aperture for a while and they used to be OK.
Do the videos play in QuickTime Player or any other software, if you export or reveal the originals?
Can you play your videos, when signed into another user account?

  • External Video Missing

After capturing 4 hrs of mini-DV via camcorder last week, I tried to capture 5th tape but now FCP can't recognize the camcorder deck I used before. Says external video missing.
it's the same camcorder, same firewire connect, same everything, as I had Friday. Any advice appreciated.
    Jim

All bets are off if you used any software updates ....
    If not:
    - turn everything off.
    - unplug the firewire connector
    - zap the PRAM
    - reboot without any firewire connections
    - shut down again.
    - hook up your tape deck and turn it on
    - turn on you computer
    - launch FCP
If you do not see the camera in FCP or system profiler, you have either a bad firewire port or a bad firewire cable. Swap cameras, cables and/or ports as necessary to isolate the offending party.
    good luck.

  • Videos missing from Home Sharing (on Apple TV 2)

We have home sharing turned on successfully through iTunes, including for iPhoto pictures (through iTunes) and have turned on sharing videos.  We can view pictures (going back to the beginning of our library nearly 10 years ago), and I can see nearly 300 videos.  However, many (most) of our videos don't appear downstairs (even though they show up in a smart "All Videos" album on iPhoto).  Formats that are appearing downstairs include QT and 3GPP (and go back well over a year) - many of the videos missing appear to be AVI (though at least one AVI format video appears).  That's 700+ missing videos.
Can you advise what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Going to try a signal booster this all started with the TV upgrade. The only reason for the network booster is because iPhone 4 freezes in facebook once and a while. I am trying to solve this problem for my brother my system works with my airport and imac with no issues yet. All brand new.

  • Am I the only one getting bad quality youtube videos when running on LTE? When I'm on wifi they seem fine but I switch to lte it looks bad on the youtube app and on safari.

I've never had any problems with mine ever. The only freeze I've had was from a file I recorded on tivo, cut commericals out in movie maker and then re-encoded to the lowest possible bit rate that that zens nati've resolution supports. Try turning your sensitivity in the touch pad down. Sometimes if you have it up to high you may have a chance of doing that (although I have only had slow response, instead of a freeze by doing that).
You also have to compare to all of the other products out there: Ipod and Zune are a lot worse with pathetic little problems (annoyances). I didn't pay for tech support?

  • 2 sec. of video missing on import from camcorder

Hello, I'm hoping someone has an idea what I can do to fix this problem. I went to the apple store for help and they have never seen this happen. I have a JVC HD camcorder (GZ HD7U). I am importing dance recital footage into imovie. When I import it into imovie it is divided into two clips. There are a couple of seconds missing between the two clips but when I watch the dance on my camera the footage is continuous-the missing two seconds are there. Any idea how to get the continuous footage into imovie?? Or if anyone has a suggestion of a work around I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much!

It might be worth your while to view the iMovie tutorials at http://www.apple.com/ilife/tutorials/imovie/index.html because they can answer a lot of questions you may be having with your new computer.
If your iSight camera was on while you were trying to import video from your camera into iMovie, something was set wrong.

  • Apple website won't play videos "Missing plug-in"

This seems really wierd, no videos on apples website will play.
I just get the message "Missing Plug-In" with an arrow but i cant click on it.
All other websites play videos no problem. Doesnt seem to have anything to do with Mavericks because it was doing it even before i updated.
    Anyone have any thoughts?

  • IPhoto videos missing in iMovie 09's thumbnail view

Recently I imported a bunch of videos into iPhoto 09 from my camera, and when I next opened iMovie 09 it generated thumbnails for them as expected. But when it finished, only about a quarter of the videos were actually there in iMovie. They are all of the same format and everything and it is a random selection of them that for some reason didn't show up in iMovie. Since then I have added more videos to iPhoto in the hopes that when iMovie generated their thumbnails it would find the ones it missed but this didn't happen. All the new ones came through fine though. I've tried restarting iPhoto, iMovie and my computer but nothing worked. Does anyone know of a way to get iMovie to notice these files without having to make copies of them? (I tried the Import button which lets me find them through "Media" but I have to find each one individually and either copy it - which I would rather not do since the files are quite large - or move it, which means I could no longer open them through iPhoto). I also noticed that if I drag the video onto my desktop and re-add it to iPhoto then iMovie does notice it. The only problem with this is I have quite a large number of videos and to make copies of them all then delete them again, and have to find all the ones that are missing would be very tedious, but if nothing else works I will have to resort to this. Does anyone have any ideas or has experienced this before?
Thanks very much for your help

Unfortunately I think you have found all the possible fixes and they are all time consuming. It does sound like iPhoto isn't recognizing and allowing iMovie to then see the iPhoto Videos Library. A typical thing I suggest for folks with BIG iPhoto libraries is to do a iPhoto Library repair.
Hold down the ⌘ Command key + Option, then launch iPhoto. You'll get a dialog box with a number of check boxes. Not knowing exactly which of these is the one that will fix your problem, I say check them all and click OK and let 'er rip. This too will be time consuming as iPhoto reconstructs your whole catalog of photos and videos. If there's any damage it will correct that as well. Will it fix this problem of iMovie not seeing the iPhoto Videos, I don't know. You may also have to try deleting the iPhoto preferences .plist, but try the iPhoto Library rebuild first.

  • Video-  missing audio sound

missing audio content when I record video on ipad. Any ideas on how to fix?

    Judyqw3-
Have you verified that your iPad microphone is working?  One way would be to install the free Skype iPad App, which has an on-line audio test capability.
If the microphone is not working, contact Apple.  If you can demonstrate the problem to the Apple Store Genius, you may get a new iPad on the spot.

  • Video missing from recording

Hello, one of our clients has a hosted recording with video that has been working fine until recently.  When playing back the recording, the video is now missing and just shows a black screen where the video footage should be.
We have tried on both Windows and Mac and reinstalled Flash Player, but the video does not load.
    How do I troubleshoot this?

There is an updated Adobe Connect Add-in located from any Adobe Connect meeting room under the Help menu item on the far right of the room.
Here is a direct link to the always updated version of the add-in:
    http://www.connectusers.com/downloads/
That add-in will work with Connect 7.5 and 8.
Make sure with Connect 8 you have updated your Adobe Flash Player to version 10.1 or the latest which is 10.2. 10.3 is in beta now.
You have to use Flash 10.1 with Connect 8 to take advantage of some significant features including enhanced audio and VOIP, using Adobe Presenter content to upload to Connect 8, Screen Share pod and the File Share pod. This is an important consideration.  There are very significant desktop performance improvements with Flash 10.2 using the GPU for many of it's graphic functions which reduces the load on the CPU.

  • Some videos missing from iPhoto event in iMovie'08

I recently took some pictures and 7 videos and imported them into iPhoto. I intended to edit them in iMovie'08. I find that 3 of the videos are missing in the Event Library/iPhoto Library pane. I tried deleting them from iPhoto and importing again to no avail. Strangely, thumbnail videos were added to the iPhoto LIbrary/Data/2008/{event_name} folder inside the library data package.
*Yes, that's right, the iMovie thumbnail videos are stored in the iPhoto data file!!!!! Go figure!*
    How do I fix this?

    Update:
The problem lies in iPhoto: iPhoto has a problem with very large movie files and regularly fails to import them. When that happens I have to use the finder to drag he movie into iPhoto. For some reason, unknown to me, imported movies do not always get a file creation date. When that happens, iMovie'08 assigns a default: Dec 31, 1903 I think. To fix this I had to find each movie inside the iPhoto Library package and set the creation date to the modification date using Super Get Info [http://www.barebones.com/products/super> manually.
    BUG! BUG! please fix.

  • Recent iPhoto videos missing?

How do I get iMovie to refresh its iPhoto videos import and thumbnails?
I've taken several videos which are in iPhoto which don't appear to have been updated in iMovie event.
    Any help much appreciated.
    D

Sorry! Had to do some running around ad just got back.
I know they are compatible as they are shot with my Panasonic Lumix in .mov format and all the earlier stuff I've shot with this camera has come through
Please be more specific. An MOV is a file container -- not a compression format. While most of the models I looked at said the Lumix video was stored as Motion-JPEG (which is compatible), they failed to mention the audio compression format. Both must be compatible for the files to be recognized. Further, some digital camera's use multiple compression formats based on the specific quality mode in use.
So guess the question is how do I get iMovie to refresh that initial thumbnailing of iPhoto?
Okay, but this is where things get a bit iffy... I would first check to see if the "thumbnail" movie and associated JPEG image for your clips were created. Check the "iPhoto Library > Data > named_Year > namediPhotoEvent" folder for these files. Both files should exist for each clip in the iPhoto Event. If these files do exist but you can't see anything in iMovie '08, here is what I would try next. Close iMovie '08 and open iPhoto. Create and name an empty "New Event." Now select and drag the contents of an event you know to be "missing" in the iMovie '08 "Event Library" and drag it/them to your newly created Event. iPhoto will ask if you wish to "merge" the Events. Answer in the affirmative. Now go back to iMovie '08 and open the application. If all went well, iMovie '08 will see the change and force all available iPhoto clips to be checked/re-thumbnailed and update the iMovie '08 Event Library.
This worked for me on an occasion when I removed my thumbnail files from iPhoto and mistakenly allowed iMovie '08 to "re-thumbnail" the iPhoto clips. (In my case, all of my 2008 folder contents disappeared until I forced it to re-thumbnail things as described above.) Cannot guarantee this will work for you but it did "restore" mine. Good Luck!

  • Videos missing from iPhoto after prompted to clear from memory card

I just imported a couple of videos from my GoPro camera into iPhoto. After the videos were imported, I created an album. Once the videos finished importing I was prompted on screen to erase the video's from the memory card and that the import was complete. I did erase them. I then imported more pictures and videos from my regular camera into iPhoto and also following the prompt to erase the memory card post import. The pics/video from the regular camera are there, but my GoPro videos are not. I cleared the memory card so I can't re-import them. It seems they have to be on the computer somewhere since it said "Import complete, Erase Memory Card". Are they still on here somewhere or gone forever?

Create a smart album with the criteria
and check there to see if you can find the missing videos.  If not then you'll need a file recovery app like  PhotoRescue to try too recover the files from the memory card.  There are other similar apps that can do the job.  Go to MacUpdate.com and search for photo recovery.  Most have a demo mode to show you if you can recover the file before you have to purchase it.
Never let iPhoto or other import app delete the files form the memory card.  It's best to make sure the download was successful and that all files are viewable/playable before deleting from the menory card.d  When memory cards are involved it's best to let the camera reformat the card than let the app or the Mac do the deleting/reformatting.
