PS3 DNS Error with WR54GL wireless but works with BEFVP41 Wired router?
I have the following network set up,
Modem - BEFVP41 Router (all filled up) - a switch (all filled up as well) - WR54GL wireless router (set up as a switch) - PS3.
I have 2 pc's connected to the BEFVP41, one pc connected to WR54GL and 3 laptops via wi fi working off the WR54GL as well.
Everything works fine with the exception of PS3. It is able to obtain the IP address but returns a DNS error when testing the internet connection.
When I wire the PS3 directly to the BEFVP41 router it works flawlessly. But if I try to set up to work via the wireless WR54GL it fails every time and returns the DNS error.
I have the latest firmare for both routers as well as the PS3.
This leads me to believe there is an issue between the PS3 and the wireless router or some sort of networking issue between the wireless router and the main router. Im not a network buff, matter of fact i know very little about this so i really dont know where and what settings to adjust or even where to begin the trouble shooting.
Any suggestions? Do I need to do port forwarding or whatever or adjust some dns settings in the wireless router? Any guidance is appreciated.

First you can login to your wired Router (BEFVP41) and find out the DNS adress on Status Tab.
Then you can manully set Static Ip to your PS3 in the range of Router and Give Static DNS and Test the Connections.

Crystal Reports export and print fails with SSL / https but works with http
Windows 2008 Server, 32-bit (IIS7)
ASP.NET 2.0
Ajax 1.0
Crystal Reports version 10.5.3700.0
http: printing works, export works
https: printing not working, only export to MS Excel and MS Word work.
I am able to generate reports using both http and https, and the toolbar icons are all showing. However, I am unable to print or export properly with SSL.
Printing prompts me with a select printer window, and then a window 'Retrieving Page 1' follow by two messages from Crystal Print Control both stating:
A communication error occured. Printing will be stopped.
Exporting generates various errors depending on which export method is being selected (however Excel and Word work over https).
I've found the same problem on this site and other forums, but never a resolution to get exporting and printing to work with SSL. Will someone please provide me assistance or possibly relay what settings they're using if they have Crystal Reports export or printing working over SSL in IIS7? Everything works fine when I change the address from https to http.
Please let me know if I can help by providing further information. We've gone through a great deal of possible solutions with code and I'm currently looking in to IIS settings again.

Unfortunately, it didn’t fix my problem even my IE (IE8 and IE 9) has correct setting. I double check my version. PrintControl.CAB is version 10.2.0.1146. we use VS 2005 Crystal report and VB .NET. It works fine on HTTP. But when we use HTTPS (SSL Certificate from go daddy).
1: Crystal report export
Export to MS Excel, Word: pop us “File download”, then click “Save”. It says “Internet Explorer cannot download ReportView.aspx from my site. Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. the requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try it again later”
Export to RPt, Rich text format: It says “Internet Explorer cannot download ReportView.aspx from my site. Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. the requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try it again later”
Export to PDF : nothing happened.
2: Print:
Pop up dialog to select printer, click “Print” “. Shows windows “Crystal Report Viewer” and pop us error message box. Title is “Crystal Print Control”. Message is “An communication error occurred. Printing will be stopped”. Click “OK” and pop up error message box again.

Ad hoc connection doesn't work with my 3gs but works with my touch
I setup an ad hoc connection on my laptop following a guide on the internet.
I did this on windows 7 32bit, it worked for my ipod touch but for some reason it won't work with my iphone 3gs (upgraded with the latest updates)
I connect to the wireless network, it shows its connected (with the wifi symbol at the top in the iphone's status bar) but as soon as i try using the internet via safari or any other app, it reverts back to using 3g or edge networks. I've checked and after reverting it still shows wifi is connected but the wifi symbol is no longer in the status bar and judging by the speed of the connection it really isn't connected to wifi.
Any ideas why this is happening?
It's just so odd that it works on my ipod touch but not on my iphone 3gs... Can't be a windows related problem.Did you ever get this fixed? I'm having the same problem and can't figure out the solution.

ITunes WiFi Sync not working with iPhone 6, but works with iPad 1
I have an iPhone 6 and an iPad 1. The iPhone 6 runs iOS 8 and the iPad 1 runs iOS 5.
Yet, the iPad works fine using iTunes WiFi Sync with my Mac, while my iPhone never works with it. Whenever I forcibly make it sync by clicking on the device in iTunes and on Sync, it gets ejected/removed from iTunes. This doesn't happen with my iPad.
Is this a problem specific with the iPhone 6? Anyone know what I can do to fix it?
If I uncheck and re-check the WiFi Sync setting for my iPhone 6, then it syncs fine the first time again. But it doesn't work after that. So the device is definitely on the correct WiFi network at least.It continues to be UNREAL how Apple will release iOS software without testing it. Yep. They BROKE WIFI SYNC. It no longer works on my iPhones or iPads either. UNREAL!!!!!!

Cant click and drag with one finger, but works with 3 fingers
Last week, my trackpad starts to fail. Thing is that i can't click and drag with one finger but if i turn on the 3 finges option, i can tap and drag without a problem Check the prefs, universal access too. And everything is ok.
Reset pram, smc , run & fix permissions but nothing.
Looking around the internet i found a possible hint and is related to a bad battery condition. But that post talks a physical defective battery. Mine last like 2 hours.Under the battery icon in the finder it saids tha should be replace soon. Macbook pro late 2008. 4 gb ram , 500 gb hd, 10.7.3
Any suggestions??It sounds like an accessibility feature, although I'm not 100% sure. You can explore the accessibility settings if you like, or for a quick fix you can try going into Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.

MacBook won't load Internet on wireless but works with ethernet
My macbook wont load any web pages. It is connected to my wifi network and it says my Internet connection is good under my network settings. All my other devices on the network have no issues (ipad2, 2-iPhone 4's and 2-PS3s). Also when I connect my MacBook to my router with an Ethernet cable it loads any and all web pages instantly. I also tried installing Firefox thinking it may have been an issue with safari. No luck there. The issue was intermittent at first and would require I restart my computer/router and then issue would be corrected. Now the internet wont load any pages at all. I also tried zapping the PRAM, flushing the DNS cache, removing files from the system config folder under Library/Preferences/system configuration and a few other things I can't exactly remember. My MacBook is up to date, my routers firmware is up to date. I even tried tethering my MacBook to my iPhone via wireless Internet and still could not load any websites. Anyone have any other suggestions?
Try this, might or might not work depending on the issue.
Turn off your wifi.
Go to your network preference, click on advance, the you will see the name of your network (router's name), delete that.
Now try to detect it again with your MB's wifi. You have to re enter your password if you have one.
See if that solves your problem. -
IPlanet J2EE application not working with oracle 9i but working with 7.3
We are in a process of upgrading database from oracle 7.3 to 9i.
We have a working application running on iPlanet Application Server with oracle 7.3 as database. We are using iPlanet Application Server's connection pooling. Our JDBC driver is classes111.zip.
After upgrading to 9i, our application doesnt work. When I try to run a test application that uses single select statement, this the error I get: java.sql.SQLException: Invalid URL: Driver type not specified
SQL*PLUS works fine. I havent upgraded oracle client. Do I need to upgrade the JDBC driver or oracle client?

JSF 1.2 is a certified and well tested component of WLS, so we know it works. I'm not sure of the effect of all those additional modules you are adding in there -- it appears as if you have gotten a Faces implementation instantiated, but there could be some form of version difference/conflict since it can't find a method its looking for.
Using Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse (http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/oepe/oepe_11115.html) you can build yourself out a pretty simple JSF application to get started from and deploy it to a WLS server. This would remove all the additional libraries you currently have, provide you with a bundled applicaton to deploy and give you a pretty good environment from which you can learn and experiment with JSF.

"Incompatible GPU or no drivers found" issue with AE CS6 - But worked with AE CS5.5
Hi guys, as the title suggests, I am receiving this issue in the Display section of the Preferences. I have After Effects CS5.5 still installed and I can opt to render using Open GL, whether its in my live document or to a file, but it just won't work in AE CS6. My graphic drivers have been updated and I still receive this error. These are my specs:
Intel Core i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz
12GB Ram
Windows 7 64-Bit
Hundreds of gigs of free HDD space
MSI R5850 Twin Frozr II 1GB GDDR5 4000MHz

Everything else is neither here nor there, as they say. Most other cards should work for "normal" OpenGL features, but that raytracing stuff really requires one of the cards listed there. As to why it doesn't work in your case, is an open question just as is why Adobe effed up CS6 so much. You could always try other drivers. Perhaps an older one in fact may work. Also play with settings like screen resolution and not using dual screens. Perhaps some combination will work.

EA1 EA2 EA3 don't start on linux with jdk1.7 but work with jdk1.6!!!
I install SQLDeveloper EA1 then EA2 and now EA3 on my Linux (Fedora 19), but the result is the same.
If i start SQLDeveloper with root it work, but if i start with my user the application crash. I tested to change owner of all component, but the result is the same.
Then because I started the application with jdk1.6 (I used the EA1 who did not warning about the java version) and it work fine!!!
I opened two "Report a HotSpot Crash", but I never received a response.
No one any idea? Nobody has ever happened?

Correct password doesn't work with Mail interface, but works with web interface.
Mail claims "The POP server “mail.nykayak.com” rejected the password for user “valerie”, yet when I log in through the web interface the password works. All other accounts work. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?

On your iMac G3, go to the AirPort menu and select the network name. It will prompt you automatically for the correct type of wireless encryption password.
I wouldn't trust selecting an option from Internet Connect.
In AirPort Admin Utility, what type of wireless encryption have you enabled? If it is WPA2 the iMac G3 won't be able to connect.
Also ensure that your AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) is configured to work in an 802.11b compatible mode. The iMac G3 is only 802.11b. -
Mail not responding under one user. Need to Force Quit to get out of it. My mail works when I log on as a user. Downloaded the latest Mountain Lion updates and reinstalled Mountain Lion as per Apple Phone Support instructions

You might try using the add-on 'NoSquint' which allows numerous zoom options specific to each page you visit & keeps your settings - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nosquint/

In most cases you can simply "upgrade" (meaning downgrade) directly from the installation. It would be a good idea to save your passwords & bookmarks just to be on the safe side. -
My Telus wireless only works with WEP, but if I switch to WEP, the wireless on the other computers in the house (which is Windows and WPA) stops working. My computer works with the ethernet cord but I want to be wireless too! Do one of us have to sacrifice our wireless?
