PS4 Console wont turn on ( No light or anything else)

My PS4 i have had for under forty days has stopped working, i try to turn it on by pressing the power button but i doesnt work and i have also tried to turn it on using the controller but still nothing. Recently i took off the cords and opened the PS4 to see if that would help, still nothing. This has happened before numerous times but when it did all i did was put the power plug out and then back in AND boom it was working, but now this time i tried that but it didnt work. help please.

Check the fuse in the plug Opening the console when it's only 40 days old has invalidated any warranty so you can't even take it back to the store for an exchange

Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

the light was coming on this morning and now it's not, is this just a 'resetting' issue or a common problem? I just can't believe it's not very old and this is happening.

So you have no signal on the TV?
Could be something simple like a fuse in the power lead. If you have another similar one try that.
Device failure after such a short usage is not common but not impossible and some will - if only 6 months old it will be under warranty (and the remote).
If you have a micro USB lead then you could hook it up to a computer running iTunes as described here to see if the software is corrupted and it will restore:

Wd my book 500gb studio edition wont turn on, white light half lit

I have a Western Digital My Book 500GB Firewire/eSATA/USB 2 Studio Edition external hard drive that i bought 2-3 years ago. I've backed up a lot of data then and after that not used it at all until recently. I can't seem to get it to mount under Lion, as soon as I plug in the power lead the white bar of light at the front of the drive lights up but only the top half of it, there are no noises and plugging in a USB lead does not show the drive on my iMac.
Can anyone advise please, there's tons of data and I have only used the drive literally a few times. I just checked and my limited warranty expired six months ago so I can't ask WD to help.

To give the conclusion in case anyone googles to here. I had to pry open the original WD enclosure and get the hard drive out. It's a big, cheap, plastic box made to resemble Apple's shade of silver, thus giving false confidence in quality of build which is atrocious.
The hard drive itself is perfectly fine, all the data is intact and transfer is at full speed. I had to get an external SATA to USB adapter and connect it to my iMac via a USB port. From there Lion treats it as any other external hdd.

You may need to perform a software repair using PC companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Toshiba 32LV67 tv dvd combo wont turn on/Disc light blinks repeatedly

I have the 32LV67 dvd combo and the disc light just keeps blinking when i plug it in. i read somewhere that you can re-install the firmware but i cant find it anywhere. Please help me!

There is no firmware downloads for that model.
Try leaving it unplugged from power overnight. If the problem persists, it may require servicing.

I have a kdl-46nx800 . It shut off one day now blinks 2 times for a code that sony says is a power problem. Help please. I tried unplugging everything and plugged it into a new outlet same thing. Anything else i can try at home???

Hello, I have been given a DV6000 from a friend to fix and he didn't have a charger so I bought a new one. The one I purchased is a DC359A AC Adapter, it is 18.5V --- 3.5A adapter which should be compatible with the DV6000. After plugging in the charger a blue ring around the plug lights up, but no additional LED's turn on. I have tried a hard reset and many other common fixes none have worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am pretty decent with computers but this is one that I cant even find out whats wrong, I am only 16 so I would like to keep my spending down to a minimum for this fix. Alright I figured it out, in my task manager under processes it was still running so I closed it, now it opens fine

My i-touch wont turn on or respond to anything

Okay so this all happened after I pressed the sleep/wake button really fast two times. It wouldn't turn on after that. Note is was fully charged when this happened. I charged it all day to see if that was the problem. It wasen't. Then I tried restarting it. Nothing. I plugged it into the computure to restore it but my i-touch didn't show up. It didn't regestare nothing. Note is fourth generation. I've tried everything. I've looked in the manuals, the support, the troubleshooting., EVERYTHING. Nothing will work! PLEASE HELP ME!! IT HAD SO MANY SONGS AND FILES ON IT! PLEASE HELP!

can somebody please help me.
friday morning when i left for work my iphone 5 had 100% battery.
it died on me at about 12pm.
when i got back home and plugged it in my mac there were no response but a flashing apple logo. i tried to reset it by pressing the power and home button at the same time, still nothing. then i put it in restore mode, and thats where i am now still.
the itunes and cable screen comes up when i plug it in my mac but as soon as itunes is finished extracting the software it shuts off, just to turn back on with that same screen.
what the hel am i to do? i have tried all the hints and tips on here but nothing helps

How can I make Outlook use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer and can I turn IE off without hurting anything else on my machine?

I would like to use Firefox for Outlook Express. I can't find an option in Outlook or Firefox to make Firefox the default to access the web for email through the mail client.
Also, is there a way to stop IE so that it isn't used at all by any program in my machine?

I've tried that. When I go to outlook express, then to tools, options, then connections tab, it says "Outlook shares your connections with Internet Explorer, click the change button to modify these settings", but I don't see a way to do that. It just offers the option of changing settings for connecting to the internet, not which browser.

Tactic 3d rage wont turn on

Hey i have a Sound blaster tactic 3d rage wireless and i tried to update the drivers the other day, this resulted in the headset being in a "on mode" which means i couldn't turn it off or do anything with it so i let the battery die and started charging it again when i put the charger in there is a faint redness on the mic button so i knew it was getting power but the head set still wont turn on so i left it for a few hours and i still wont turn on.
Anyone know anything that could help me?

If I understand correctly, you are unable to turn on your MacBook Pro even with a different power outlet. I would use these other troubleshooting steps from the following article, named:
Troubleshooting: My computer won't turn on
If your computer won't turn on, try each of these steps:
Verify you have a good connection from your Mac to the wall outlet by confirming the power cord and adapter if present are securely connected and plugged in. To check if the wall outlet is working, plug in a lamp or other electrical device.
Disconnect all accessories that are plugged in to the computer, such as a printer, hub, or other mobile device.
If your Mac supports user-installable memory, solid state drive, or hard drive, and you recently installed any of these, make sure they are installed correctly and are compatible with your computer. If possible, reinstall the original memory or drive into the computer to find out if the behavior persists afterwards.

IPod wont turn on or update after iTunes 7, please help

It's a 2004, 20gb iPod with click-wheel. A friend gave it to me, if I can try to repair it. Apparently it died after installing iTunes 7. The iPod wont turn on or respond to anything. The only time it does is when its connected to a computer. At first iTunes reported that the iPod is corrupted and needs to be restarted. And when it turns on, theres an icon with an exclamation mark and an URL pointing me to Apple's support. At first i tried with various older firmware files and I got the messega that there was an error formatting the ipod. iTunes 7 gave a 1418 or 1429 error at the end of the updating process.
I tried with resetting it, putting it in the disk mode and then erasing and/or partitioning it with Disk utility and it was always the same. I tried unplugging all the other devices when updating, just like recommended. Again nothing worked.
Here comes the peculiar part:
Then I did a complete erase, writting zeros over the whole disk in Disk utility. It took ages and then finally stopped with an error just before finishing. After that I can update my iPod just fine with iTunes 7, I can even name it again and start adding songs(it takes forever for just one song). Even older updaters say its fine. But after unplugging it from the computer its still dead and it still displays the error icon. All that got me so confused.
I find it hard to believe that a hardware error suddenly appeared just after installing iTunes 7 and I am really hoping for any help I could get because I dont want to give up on it just yet. Thanks.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
