my download when i test on my pc is 30mps but when i test on psn it is 1.2mps what the hell is going on?

If your console is connected via an Ethernet cable it may be an issue with the cable or even the access point it’s using, check them both. If you’re connected wirelessly than its likely it may not be getting enough reception, is it in an enclosure or out in the open? It’s even possible that it’s simply in a dead spot in the room, a common issue with a lot of Wi-Fi setups.

I got the ps4 2 days ago and I'm downloading games... But the speed is too low while using wired and wifi and in my PC it's fast I downloaded 40gb in 12hrs... While in ps4 It takes over 6hrs for 3 GB.. I need help to make it faster

I don't know if you use Steam as well...but the fantastic thing with them is that should your file become corrupted....you don't have to redownload the entire install file...you simply click for it to verify the file...it takes literally a few seconds...it then locates the corrupted files and fixes them!!!! This is just a fantastic service and you know they are taking their customers bandwidth usage seriously. PSN.....I truly hope you read this. Rather put some man power and time into a benefical service like this...than window dressing the store front. Talking about Store front changes...its the 18th here in SA and the store still looks the same to me???
The problem is certainly your set-up or ISP traffic shaping. A file of 30MB never take's no more 30 to 60 second's for me regardless what time of day it is. PS4 Download speeds slowly getting back to normal

my download eta has dropped by 19 hours so it seems like the speeds are slowly getting back normal i seen 1 member say their hours dropped from 99+ to 4 so hopefully every1 will be back to normal very soon

yeah at the moment im getting just under 2 mps but it has climbed from about 100kbps so im not going to complain about that at the moment

It took me over 15 hours for a 10gb update file. While on my computer I can download 3gb in less then 30 minutes! It's been a long time with the slow download speeds, any chance to get this fixed before the PS5 comes out?

Intenet bandwidth issue in Wifi

We have a cisco ASA 5510, cisco 3560 switch, cisco WLC 4400, cisco 2960 switches and other CCTV recording severs in our network. Today we have upgarded the intenet speed of 50Mbps leased line. we are getting downloding speed of 50Mpbs in LAN but we are getting 22Mbps in wifi.
Also there is full drop upload speed in LAN or Wifi i.e up to 6Mbps instead of 40Mbps.
I have attached the ASA and 3560 switch configuartion.
Please help me to find out the root cause.

TS3623 ATV3 massive streaming issues?

Hello,
For 4 days, we have been experiencing massive streaming issues with downloading content from itunes to ATV but also to other devices such as iphone, ipad and PC. Not only media content downloads present issues but also app updates. My full home set up has been checked and tested. Downlod speeds are in excess of 15mbps.
We are located in Bavaria, south Germany.
Is apple facing serious server problems as in the summer 2012? Or is it a software update problem? Is there an ETA for a fix?

could be access point confusion, or operator reconfig issue.
usually you have to do a 7370 reset after an update. this is symbian technology.
try doing it and check.
of course, backup BEFORE doing it.

All the news sources I can see on the net talk about needing faster upload speeds. Standard ADSL tops out at about 1M.
If the PS4 really needs 100M broadband to work (and I can't see any possible reason why it should) then it will be dead in the water on launch, as most people simply don't have that sort of speed and won't be able to get it.

Does Need For Speed Rivals for PS4 support racing wheels?

Slow browsing speeds and super low download speeds...

I wonder if anyone is having similar issues or knows what may be a possible cause. Since last night it's became impossible for me to download anything, regardless of the device or source of the download e.g. can't download anything on my PS4, can't download anything on Steam, Youtube takes an age to buffer, websites sometimes load slow, somtimes fast.
On steam for example the download will start at around 3 MB/s but within about 20 seconds it's dropped right down to mere Bytes. To rule out an issue with my PC I've also tried downloading various things on my ipad and PS4 but have the same issue
The odd thing is the speed test appears fine as seen below and as a result when speaking with support earlier they told me the line appeared fine. But I can't understand how that can be.

Need help setting up QOS on N900 router with PS4

Hello all, I am looking to use the QOS settings on the N900 to secure my connection for gaming on PS4. I followed the indications in the link below, but instead of doing port forwarding, i enabled the QOS settings on all the ports used by the PS4. Is that how its supposed to work? Hello mr Trancer, Thanks for taking the time to reply to my query, but i would dare say that this does not answer it however. I very well understand that port forwarding and QOS are different things. My question is: why is it that connection still fluctuates when i create a static IP on my PS4, then apply the QOS parameters to all the ports that the PS4 uses on that IP adress. I am not a wizz when it comes to that sort of thing, but those instructions are pretty clear, and the N900 router should be good enough to do it, so why doesnt it work? My internet connection speed is 30mbps and i have done the speed tests on those websites and they confirm im getting what i pay for, so this should work yet it doesnt. Any thoughts?

Im a new member f the Infinity family.....almost 24hrs, getting a steady 75mb down and 19mb up, Pings between 15 - 18ms.
very happy with the speed so far.
my question is, with my ps4 connected via Cat5e the speed of the connection according to the ps4 itself is (and this does fluctuate a little) around 50mb down and around 8mb up......now dont get me wrong, im happy with this bandwidth and am not griping about the speed but im just curious if the drop in advertised speed when compared to a speed test on my pc is something that can be remedied by altering any sort of setting in the HH5 or the PS4?
if so, maybe someone could post up a guide on what and how they've set up
as i mentioned, this is more of a curiosity question rather than a moan as i am still pretty happy with what im gettin currently

i had this problem also with a relatively new mouse. at times the scroll would get jumpy and work on and off after a few taps and vigorous scrolling. so i called apple to report the malfunction and was issued a new one. so far, so good. well it's only been about a week so we'll see...

Displaying photos in servlet speed issue

I am accessing images from an external drive outside of the tomcat directories? The problem is that if i have a report with 30 photos it is taking about 30 seconds to load, and there could be reports with up to 100 photos at any time. I am currently using a BufferedInputStream and a BufferedOutputStream but it is still too slow.

How big are they each? What's the complete file size? What's the harddisk speed? What's the interface of the external drive? What's the memory size? What's the network speed?
One (raw) photo can quickly be 1MB. Downloding 1MB over a 1Mbit line can last 10 seconds (at it's best, generally it's a bit slower). Then I'am not talking about the hardisk speed/interface and the efficiency of the code.

Why does my EA4500 restrict my top speed to 28MB? Modem alone does 65MB.

I recently upgraded my Charter Internet speed to 60 meg. But when I speed tested it I still got 28 just like I had been for the last year. I called them and they said I should be getting 60 so they asked me to bypass my router (EA4500) which I did. After doing that the speed tests came back a wopping 65MB at 3 different speet test sites. Once I had that confirmed I rehooked up my router and got 28 again. This is with ethernet cord not wifi. So what the heck is going on?
I got the latest firmware.
I do run wifi 2.5 and 5 for my iPad and stuff.
PS4 is on Ethernet cable.
I turned off wifi on router and unplugged PS4 so only the PC was drawing bandwith.
Still only 28MB after that.

try disabling media prioritization on the router if its enabled...
