PSA request deletion Error

Hi All,
I have a problem for which i am not able to get the proper solution from the threads.
Can anyone help me to solve this.
I am getting this error "" RSDU_TABLE_DROP_PARTITION_MSS Error while creating the clone table /BIC/B0000183000"
while deleting request from the psa.
This error i am getting because i have deleted the data from the psa table from the tcode se14, but the requests are still there in the request. There is no data in the psa but the request exists.
Now i want to delete the empty request, because i am scheduling the process chain to delete all request older than 3 days. But because of this empty request, i am getting the error while scheduling the process chain.
I also tried to delete the psa data from rsa1old but to no sucess.
Can anyone help me to solve this issue.

Hi ,
For your issue you can try these steps : -
1 - Run the report - SAP_DROP_TMPTABLES.
2 - Run the report - RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY_MS.
You can Check details for the report execution from the  note : 1063105 - Program "RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY /_MS"
3. You can also check the note - 1299865 - DB Shadow tables with '@k' name (e.g /BIC/B0000201@k0).

Lokesh

  • Error in PSA Request deletion

    Hey all,
    how are you!
I have a little glitch in my Processchain and since I can not seem to find an answer myself I was wondering if any of you might give me some feedback
In a processchain I created, I wanted to delete the PSA-table contents and I added this process called "Deletion of requests from PSA".
But whenever I check my daily run, I have to get back (due to its "red" nature) and do manually 'rightclick>repeat' and then all seems well.
The 'red' condition upon monitoring gives me the message "no sub-request for this request"...
    well...anyone?

    Hey Olivier,
It is a transactional load from an R/3 ODS.
In the processchain first we load an ODS and then we start with a request-deletion on the PSA.
    Options:
    - older then...zero days
    the others are not used.
    Nothing fancy
    Just following

  • Problem in Delete PSA Request

    Hello Guys,
I have come across a strange behavior of Delete PSA Request variant in Process Chains. When I am trying to delete PSA through Process Chain, I could delete PSA of all datasources except 0CO_OM_WBS_1.
I tried it through different combinations, but could not delete data in 0CO_OM_WBS_1 through Process Chain. Can anyone help me through this, or any valid explanations on this front.
    Thanks,
    Saurabh

    Hi saurabh,
It seems that you have some inconsistent requests in your PSA. Try running the program RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY/_MS and give your PSA technical name there which can be easliy found out once you click on the manage tab of you PSA at the top.
Just put that technical name & run the program in repair mode. One the program is success full, your chain should be able to delete the requests there after.
Check the Below thread, on how to delete the inconsistent requests from PSA.
Finding out the details of the user who deleted a PSA request manually
hope that the info helps you.
    Thanks

  • Delete PSA request from ODS

    Hello Guys,
I need to know how can I delete the PSA request number generated when request is activated
    This request is type:  ODSR_*
I need to delete this request in order to activate again the data of my ODS reuqest ID, because a problem the activation terminated unsuccessfully, and know I see the request in red, and with the request for reporting available.
I want to delete it, because if I activate the request again, there is going to consume more space in my table space of ODSD.
    thanks in advance

    Ok, thanks for your help.
    One more question.
The first activation failed, and when I saw the table space for ODSD, it decreased for about 1GB, my question is, if I reactivate the request, is going to consume another 1GB for the table space???
Thats why I want to first delete the PSA request that generates when activated data, in order to recover that space that was consume in the first failed activation.

  • Delete PSA Request

    Hi Experts,
    1. I need to delete PSA request(50 request) in BI 7.0  production system.
    2. Also need to include the process type 'deletion of PSA request' to the existing process chain.
Pls provide me the steps to follow to perform the above activities.
    Regards,
    Anand

    Hi,
I found this answer for deleting the psa request.
    1.      Select the DataSource that you want to delete requests from the PSA for and choose Manage.
           2.      On the next screen, select one or more requests from the list and choose  Delete Request from DB.
           3.      When asked whether you want to delete the request(s), confirm.
The system deletes the requests from the PSA table.
You can also delete requests in DataSource maintenance. Choose Goto ®   Manage PSA (pushbutton). Follow the instructions above, starting from step 2.
Can i follow the same in production. Pls confirm.
    Regards,
    Anand.

  • How to delete old PSA requests?

    Hello Experts,
We are using apo bw 3.0B version.
I tried deleting the old PSA requests  using a  process chain for "deletion of requests from psa ".It has deleted all the old requests as expected in PSA tree,But i am seeing these requests in Monitor -Administartion workbench from past  5 years (All Successfull and incorrect requests) which i want to clean up.Is there a way to clean up all these old requests ?
    Thanks.

    Hi
    Please go to RSA1 PSA
Select the respective infosource and PSA which you want delete.
Dobule click on PSA, you will able to see all the requests which were loaded in PSA earlier.
You can select these request one by one and also delete via delete option from bottom of tool bar.
You can also delete the PSAs with regular & scheduled job.
Please go to RSA1 PSA . Right click on the respective infosource, you will get option to delete the data from PSA.
Here you can schedule the frequency and delete the PSA on regular basis.
I hope this will help you.

  • PSA Data Deletion in SAP BW running on Oracle

    Hi,
I deleted 2 failed requests (10000000 Records) from PSA Tables because of the disk space issue for our BW System.
    RSA1—PSA –DELETE PSA DATA –
The requests are deleted from the PSA, In BW in can see that there not requests in that particular PSA.
But Basis/Database team raised an issue that the data has been added to the Database…
What is this mean and how can I proceed with this
    Thanks

This is probably not an Oracle issue.

    Hi Rajesh,
You may create a simple process chain, where you could include the variant "Delete PSA Request".At the bottom of this variant maintenace screen you would find options exactly matching your requirements. It's a very simple option and should not take you more than 5 minutes.

  • PSA Request not getting updated to DSO during Delta DTP

    Hi All,
Came across a situation. There are 7 requests in the PSA and they are loading to a DSO through Delta DTP (no other settings checked). Now when we tried to acivate the DSO request it failed saying that one of the PSA requests is having SID older than the one you are trying to load now.
We checked the data mart status of this PSA request and found that it is not moved to the DSO during the delta load.
What we suspect is that somebody loaded that request enabling the DTP setting 'Only Get Delta Once' but not sure. Now we are looking answers for below queries.
    1. What could be possible reasons for this?
    2. How to confirm if somebody already loaded the request through 'Get Delta Only Once' setting?
    3. What are possible options to get the data from that PSA request other than a full load from source system or PSA?
    regards
    Jitendra

    hey Jitendra,
The possible reason for this might also be that someone deleted the request from DSO after is was loaded?
You can manually post the request into your target DSO by using "update with scheduler" option for individual PSA requests.
If you do not want these requests in DSO, you should turn them to red in data load monitor and proceed with activation.
    Hope this helps!
    Thanks,
    Sheen

  • PSA request updated to data targets but not showing

    Hi All,
It must be a basic question for BW support activities. However appreciate if someone can help me out as I am unable to find similar post.
In PSA the request shows it successfully updated to a data target but I can't see the delta request in the data target (Cube)- Manage.
This is a delta request. Can someone tell me how do I load the data back in to the cube? Do I need to delete the request from cube and run it again but I guess the deltas will be lost.
Help. pls give me all the steps in detail how do I fix this.
    Thanks,
    B

    Hi,
    There are two options.
    1. at PSA find how many records are exist for your request.
Note/down load the records into excel if you have countable. As my guess delta records might be less.
Later thru repair full request you can load to PSA and then to target.
AT repair full request we need to use proper selections to load required records only.
    2. PSA Request must be stored at back end table.
in that table if we can change update further status then we can do the psa request to target thru delta dtp.
    Thanks

  • Old spool requests delete

    Hi all,
still we are facing spool over flow issue, even though we installed kernel level-236/64bit.
We had scheduled a batch job to convert spool request deletion date with the report-RSPO2010, and it is running fine.(it run daily before spool reorg job run).  SPOOL_REORG job also finishing with out errors but still spool numbers volume is very high.
    SAP_BASIS level is 18.
Any idea to over come this issue. Please guide me.

    Hi Nani,
Please refer to the following post:
Re: Database error: TemSe->XRTAB(3)->1 for table TST01 key
This over flow may occur due to lot of spool requests being generated as a result of certain background jobs or manual requests from users while generating some reports. During busy time of business this happens.
To know which job is responsible to genereate more number of spool request please do following:
    T-Code: SM37
    Job name: "*"
    User name: "*"
    Select "FINISHED" check box.
    Job Start Condition:
From date: Past 10 days to cureent day (date) and click execute button.
In the resulting window within "Ln" column you will see a mat like symbol representing the job generated spools. Select that particualr job and right click and select "Spool List" which will display number of spools generated by the job. You can contact the owner of the job and communicate with him if the number is too big.
Please let the community know if more information is required.
    Regards,
    Nani Chowdary.

  • PSA Status & deletion

    Hi,
    I am working on BW 7.3 SP5.
I have a specific datasource which loads a flat file (FULL).
This datasource then loads 2 write-optimized DSOs (DELTA) via DTP.
After loading the PSA, and then both DSOs, I check my datasource -> manage : The demand is still with the status 'request not updated to any target using the delta' even if all targets are updated.
I can not delete this PSA request within a process chain with option "Only successfully booked requests"...
On the other hand, I have the same kind of flow but for a masterdata and only on target, and when I update the masterdata (PSA->MD via DTP) the status is changed to request updated in data target' which is great. This PSA can be delete via a process chain with option "Only successfully booked requests"
    Thanks for any help.

Hi, I have similar problems, but already selected delete successfull and not updated requests from PSA, to check if it is then deleting , but no. Therefore the above note won't help (at least not to solve the issue in full).
It's a 7.01SP10 system, the PSA data (data from an R/3 datasource, no datamart) is updated via DTP to a write optim. DSO. The daily amount of datasets is huge (over 20Mio) therefore deletion of whole PSA is desired.
The wrong display of systemstatus showed during Delta update to DSO as well: the entries have been picked up again and again, because of the wrong status! This has been solved by the DTP-setting "Get all data only once".
Does anyone have an idea why this PSA-deletion is not working? Even if both checkboxes are checked?
I read that the position of the process type may have influence in it's proper performance? The PSA-deletion is the final step in chain, after a cube index creation. Any issues with that?
    Thanks for any help!
