PSE 10, Import more than one contact at a time?

Hi guys...
I've been a long time user of PSE...just downloaded the trial of PSE 10. I want to import contacts. PSE gives two choices:
1) 'Outlook"...but does not give the choice of choosing a file, just takes them from the PST file I guess...so there is no way to choose a subgroup opf contacts? It's either all or none?
2) "VCard files"...I exported a vcard file from Google containing 20 contacts. But when I try to import into PSE, only ONE contact is imported?
I gotta tell ya, it's amazing that PSE, version after version after version, still has such an antiquated import function for email addresses. I was hoping PSE 10 would have improved this function, but it hasn't...which means I have to still keep using Picassa, as it is SO much easier to share photos via email, Picassa web albums, etc.
Actually, that's another question...why doesn't PSE include Picasa as a way to share photos? I'd love to be able to upload straight to my Picasa albums via PSE.
So I'm STILL stuck having to use two programs for photo cataloging, editing, sharing.

I agree with you that emailing from Organizer leaves much to be desired. I just imported everything from my email client. I don’t think it takes up a lot of disk space.
I guess with Picasa, there is no real need as albums automatically synch to the web.

You can import whole folder/directory strctures if you want. In LR click on Import in Library or Shift-Cmd/Ctl-I and the initial Finder/Explorer dialogu should let you choose a Folder/Derectory, not just an individual file, though you should be able to Shift Click multiple folders/files as well.

Can I import more than one song at a time?

Hello all, this is my first post so go easy on me...lol
I just purchased my first iPOD today and seem to notice so far that I can only import one song at a time into iTunes library. I cannot select more than one song at a time by holding down the shift button. These are songs that I already have on my computer, not songs just ripped through iTunes. Also how can I get album art onto all of my songs? I've noticed that only one album so far has album art on it. The others don't. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Rachyl, I'll try that when I get off of work. What about the album art? How can I make sure I get it every time in the future. Can I rip my CD's using another software to make sure they are tagged right?
BTW I used to live in NC not too long ago and went to school there....GO HEELS!

Try the 'add folder to library' option under file on the main menu.

How do I delete more than 1 contact at a time?

Download the free app called My Contacts Backup. The app will allow an easy way to wipe out all of the contacts on the device. This feature is accessed by scrolling all the way down on the main app screen. Note that this does NOT allow you to select multiple contacts to delete but rather only allows you to delete the ENTIRE contacts list. There may be other contacts apps in the App Store that will allow you to select which you want to delete but I have no experience nor can comment on which apps those are.
As you've found, iOS's Contacts app does NOT allow you to bulk-delete contacts. You need to use an additional app.

It sounds like you were looking to back convert TO the PDF format. To do this, you'll want to look at our desktop application, Adobe Acrobat.

Importing more than one file at a time from a network location

I can import a song at a time from my old networked location, but I have hundreds of songs to import. I can't seem to find out how to do this at least an album at a time. When importing from a CD it'll do the whole cd. I would like to import the whole group the same way I was able to import a whole folder of photos into Iphoto. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

"Library" in iTunes' left "Source" column or from
iTunes Menu Files use "Add to Library ..." then
navigate to a folder that keep a yoru tracks and
select that folder.
This did it! I was doing an "import" which would only let me do one song at a time. But the "add to library" and the drag and drop both worked. Thanks!!!

Error while importing more than one Contact Persons

Hi experts,
I am trying to import 2 Contact Persons in the same Business Partner using DI.
My issue is that only on the second Contact Person all fields are correct. On the first Contact Person, all fields except the "Name" are blank.
Has anyone seen that before?

You can delete a single contact, or choose multiple contacts
to delete.
1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Touch and hold on a contact to select it. You can also
tap other contacts, or choose Select all to select all
contacts.
3. Tap Delete, and then tap OK to confirm.

Hi
As per our business requirement , How can I maintain more than one contact person for a single supplier in SRM?
How these contact persons are supposed to log in to a portal with different user id and passwords and access the bids for same supplier.
we are in SRM 7, and currently we are creating contact person throug customised BDC.
please advice.

Importing more than one at a time

when I try to use the option to import files that are on my computer already it only allows me to do one at a time I have tried both a shift and a control key to try to get more than one file at a time and it does not work so from what I have read i used the add folder option to add music to my library. the problem is then that if I want to try to "get CD Track names" it says this can only be used on files that were imported in iTunes please try importing the file again. I do not want to have to do a file at a time just to use some of the fetures is there a easier way?

Selecting/importing more than one clip from camcorder using check boxes

Hi.
I've just bought a new camcorder (SD Card) based. I used to use Mini DV tapes.
Now when I import into iMovie9 I am able to select which clips I import. I always choose manual import because I like to save different clips into different topics.
I am able to uncheck all the clips and individually select each one I want to import but I'm baffled about how to select more than one clip at a time and then check the import box. e.g. select clips 3 to 15 and then having to check the box once instead of checking ever box for each clip. There must be something like hold shift down while selecting but I've not managed to work it out yet!
Any help is appreciated.

I import clips as you do - by manually ticking the box in each clip. Like you, I haven't figured out a way to select a group of clips in one go - that would be very handy! Sorry I can't help - I'll be interested to see what answers you get.

I am using following Function Module...

The problem is it is saving only one contact person, not more than one.
Please help me how to save more than one contact persons.

Insert more than one contact in the same page/document

Hello,
I have tried without success to insert more than one contact into the same page of a document.
For example, if i insert 2 Address book fields in a page, when i drag a contact from the address book then it populates automatically the 2 fields, and it is impossible to separate these fields and to populate them with 2 different entries (on the same page).
And when you drag more than one contact to Pages, it asks you if you want to create one document per contact.
Would it be possible to just insert 2 or more different contacts on the same page/document ?

Unfortunately, this can't be done with Pages, nor could it be done with AppleWorks. I think the assumption is that you would merge into a letter & one letter sent per person. In checking the 3 postcard templates in Pages 3, none of them have address book fields to drop contacts into.
There is a workaround, but it might not be worth the effort. Create your postcard as a single, large document in page layout in landscape & merge to a new document. Then, in the print dialog, choose Layout from the drop-down menu that says Copies & Pages & choose 4 from the Pages per Sheet menu. You might also want to add a hairline border for cut lines.
