PSE 10 install on second computer

I bought PSE 10 last year and installed it on my own and my husband's computers - I understand that two computers is the maximum - from the Adobe website. Recently, he had to restore his computer to factory default and lost the program. Where can I get a PSE 10 download now so he can resume using it; there is no download for it here on the Adobe site.

actually, the two concurrent installs/activations limit is for one user (eg, one user's home pc and laptop). it's not intended to be used by two different people.
that said, if one person needed to deactivate an installation in order to re-install and that was impossible because of a crash, they would need to contact adobe support for an activation reset: http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

LR4 , CS5 Design install on second computer

I have LR4 and CS5 Design standard on my I mac, all purchased at adobe and downloaded. I recently purchased a macbook pro for work and need to add these programs to it.
My question is, on Adobe.com I can see my purchases an cannot download LR4 again? also, the CS5 Design standard was an upfrade from CS4 design standard, which was
an upgrade from Photoshop CS4 and CS3. Do I have to download all versions in order or just the latest CS5 Design Standard?

Copying a pre-installed PSE to a second computer?

I have a laptop that I ordered pre-installed with PSE 11 and just recently purchased a new desktop computer. Is it possible to copy the PSE 11 over from my laptop to the new desktop? It did not come with a disk.

Out of curiosity, if you have pre-loaded OEM version, does the license allow it to be installed on another computer?
Would there be a problem with serial numbers?
Or don't they have OEM vesrions anymore?

Once you have a subscription to ExportPDF, you may access it on any computer since it's a web-based service. It's important to note though that a single subscription to the ExportPDF service is for one individual to use.

PSE 12 install in second computer - same lic.

I have PSE 12 on my mac, and want to also download and install it on my windows computer. how do I do it?

Well, if you bought a download you got a serial number that is good for two computers but only on one platform, as opposed to the boxed version which comes with a serial number that's good for both.
You can try downloading it in windows and see what happens, but it probably won't work when you go to enter your serial number:

SWP 6.4 install on second computer in wifi WIN 7 network does not work for me.

Installed on my desktop, works fine. Installed on my Laptop, does not work.
As administrator I see the clip window, can open and close it but no menu, so I cannot use it.
As user the switch in the toolbar is there but it does not activate the clip window.
On both machines the OS is Win 7 Home Premium, the printer is the Smart 109B. Printing through Wifi to my printer which is attached to my desktop as a USB-printer works fine. But i take it the real printing is not involved in working with SWP. Maybe networking but I cannot find any hint. Pse help me.

Hi Tomasz,
as I figured out, this problem is related to the usage or measurement of the InDesign-document at least for me.
I create two portrait-oriented InDesign Layouts.
For the first I choose Print-usage in the New Document-dialog.
For the second I choose Web-usage in the New Document-dialog.
The first will render as bitmap (wrong).
The second will render as PDF (correct).
Folio- and Article-Image-Type is set to PDF in both cases.
Strange behavior.

attached below is what you see whenever you create new article. So, if you create 10 articles, you have 10 opportunities to set the rendering intent differently. I think this is wrong, as the image format setting applies to the whole folio. Or maybe it has changed recently? If not, the least what should happen is a warning, that your new choice changes the actual setting.

LR4 Upgrade- installing on second computer

I recently installed the LR4 upgrade on my main computer (iMAC). I am purchasing a laptop this week I want to put a second copy on. Can I just use the LR4 disk or do I have to dig up my original LR file (LR2) and install that first?

The Adobe license agreement allows installation on two computers.
I think you can install Lr4 on its own but you need the serial # for your first full version license. If I remember correctly: After you enter the serial # for the upgrade Lr4, you will be asked to enter a serial # for a full version. So dig out your Lr2 serial #. You would also need it if you installed Lr2 first.

Where can I find Photoshop serial number, to install on second computer?

I have Cloud running on my work computer and tried to install on my home computer (Win 7). When I launch an app, I am asked to license the software and sign in with my Adobe ID. I do this but am then asked for a serial number. I never received one with my order. Where can I find it?

OK I followed all steps on that page. I was able to connect to https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/renga-idprovider/resources/img/logos.png to see the two logos but was not able to connect to https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/. I reset my hosts file, checked the certificate, and went through my firewall and router. I can't find anything that is preventing me from seeing https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/. My apps still will not register.
I also followed the last link to https://exception.licenses.adobe.com/aoes/aoes/v1/t1?locale=en to enable offline registration but these directions do not apply to CC. I see no screen that allows me to begin offline registration.

Help installing on second computer

I have creative suite 5.5 Design Standard installed on my iMac desktop, and need to install it on my new laptop. When I download and try and install I get to a section where the program asks me to input a qualifying product. I cant remember the information I used during the original install and any other products have been dumped after I purchased the new one. Can I get the information used in the first install somehow? FYI, whatever product code I used during the first install is not on my registered list.

You get that message when you're installing an upgrade. If the installer doesn't find a previous version on the computer, it prompts for the serial number of the previous version. If you registered your serial number, it will be listed in your Adobe account online.

Lost library, ratings and versions since installing on second computer

Hi, I recently installed aperture 3 on my secondary computer, no issues. But when I went on aperture on my primary computer before it opened it asked to perform update to library, now I have lost all albums, ratings and variations i've created since mid 2009! This is when i originally upgraded from aperture 2.0 to aperture 3. The master images are still on my external hard drive, but i have lost all the work i've done on them over the last 4 years. Any help much appreciated.

Hi, in answer to your questions:
On the old computer which shipped with aperture 2 pre-installed it was running on aperture 3 which i updated to back in mid 2009.
On the secondary mac i tried installing aperture through the aperture 3 upgrade disk, which then asked me for the original serial number, I requested this from apple (as it was pre-installed) and put that in and then it went onto install apperture 3 on the secondary mac. It installed fine on the secondary computer
The problem occured when i went to use aperture on the old mac, that's when it said it needed to update the library. It all opens fine, but what is missing is any data from mid 2009 onwards (when aperture 2 was upgraded to aperture 3. I can still manually import the masters again, but what i'm missing is all the albums, editing, rating and different versions of images i have created since mid 2009.
I've searched for any other libraries on my system or external drives there are a few, but all look older and contain less data than the one i am using now.
I'm at a loss and quite worried that i've lost all that data for ever after pressing the update library button.

IPod Classic installed on second computer - not being recognized

I bought a second iPod classic for my fiance for Christmas. I planned on him using my current laptop to synch, purchase since I just bought a new desk PC for myself. I cleared all of the itunes and related categories (Bonjour, Apple auto update, etc) and downloaded iTunes from site. He made a couple purchases and when we go into iTunes, it still slows my name under the Library and where files are located. It will NOT synch his purchases. I have uninstalled the iTunes again as before with the instructions from apple and uninstalled files in the order they recommend, downloaded iTunes again. It still will not recognize the iPod and sync purchases. They show in the library, but we cannot move them to the iPod.
Not sure what else to do. Do you think it is an iPod issue and I need to return it?

When you plug in the iPod does it even appear in Device Manager? See this article for more details.

Otherwise, I have a feeling that the USB ports on the Netbook don't output enough power to allow the iPod to fully communiate properly with the Windows Vista O/S.

Unrecognised serial number installing to second computer

i bought Photoshop Elements 13 last year and installed Win 8.1 PC. Now want to install Mac Mini but get serial number "not valid" error. Do i have to purchase another copy just for my Mac?

If it was a downloaded copy, unless you request a platform change (but you won't be able to use it on the windows machine), yes. If purchased on disc, you should be able to install on either platform, in which case you will need to contact Adobe:
