Trying to install pse 10 on a new hard drive. I get invalid serial number hen I put in the serial number. I checked the Adobe web page and my registered product serial number is the same.as I am trying. Any suggeations, thank you

In Design CS2 "Asking for me to re install serial number"

And it denies my serial number, and did purchase the software. I have been using it for years without any problems.
I was using my PowerBook G4 yesterday in the car. I had a inDesign file open for at least 2 hours.
The file is at least a year old with continuous modification.
Tonight I went to open another inDesign C2 file at I get a window asking to Personalize Your Software. Asking for me to re install serial number.
After digging through 5 boxes of software I found the number and entered it.
It is telling me I have a invalid number - not true.

Installing serial number

I cannot install my serial number I received with purchase and download of Acrobat X! Pro. I keep getting this error message
"Serial number provided is valid but a qualifing productcould not be found on this computer"
Select a Product does not have Acrobat X! Pro listed.
I have downloaded this product and have used it for the past couple of days. It is installed on this computer. I paid a lot of money and for me not being able to install serial number creates continual

That message appears to be indicating you purchased an upgrade version but it is not able to find a qualifying earlier version that validates the upgrade purchase. If you have a qualifying earlier version there should be someplace you can enter the serial number for that version so that your upgrade is properly validated.

K450e motherboard replaced now says error code 00ce machine type and serial number invalid

Hey guys i just got a replacement motherboard, after motherboard was replaced on bootup the computer says error code 00ce: machine type and serial number are invalid. How do i get rid of this error it was replaced by the same motherboard type that was previously in the system. How can i reset the bios or enter the serial etc? Lenovo tech support was no help.

As the motherboard been replaced the serial number and MTM number must be updated this is a new motherboard, you can visit to the nearest authorized service center for the serial number update in the BIOS.

Sold Aperture 2 - but 'serial number invalid'

Hi there, please help
I bought Aperture 2 many months ago, but found it wouldn't work on my Powerbook G4. I then switched to Adobe Lightroom, and put the Aperture software in the cupboard.
I've just sold the software, but the new user gets the error message, 'serial number invalid'. It's possible I entered the serial number (can't remember), but the software itself was never used. How do I get the software to work for someone else?

If the serial number is valid it wouldn't care if it had been entered before or if it had been on a different computer. Is this a boxed set? It wasn't an upgrade was it? Do you still have the original serial number sticker?
Either the serial number you gave to the new owner is wrong or else they are entering it wrong unless the software you have was an upgrade in which case you also need the original serial number.
If you don't have the correct original number the only ones who can help are Apple.

Serial Number Invalid when upgrading to PSE 12 (MacOS)

Many users have reported that after purchasing Photoshop Elements 12 for MacOS, the serial number provided shows as invalid when installing Photoshop Elements 12.
We are aware of this issue and are actively working on a fix both on our store page as well as working to get a resolution out to the users who have been affected by this.
In the meantime, you're of course free to use the 30 day trial, which is a fully functioning version of PSE, and you'll be able to put the working serial number in once it has been made available to you.

Yar, we see it almost everyday around here so you can scroll down a few hundred posts and find several common threads.
Your serial, as displayed, is short four digits.
That information was supplied to you on two little stickers that came with your previous version of FCP and, of course, you carefully stuck one inside your manual and you put the other in a very safe place because you knew one day you would need them and you knew no one would ever be able to supply them.

Serial number invalid after installing on second mac

I have an educational licence of CS6 (mac) I bought a year ago. Now I installed it on a second computer (mac) at the place where I work sometime (this Mac is nog registered to me personaly).
Soon after the serial was invalid on both computers. I deleted the software completely, but sadly i didn't deactivate it first. Tried to reinstall to deactivate, but the serial is now invalid.
What to do?

Hi, I have the same problem after replacing my hard drive. I reinstalled CS4 from the DVD and put the serial number but CS said the serial number is invalid.
CS is deactivated on other computer and also on old hard drive.
I need to work... I would greatly appreciate it if this can be solved quickly.

Though I can already tell you that you won't enjoy your CS6 on a 5k Retina display. It's not compatible and everything will look soft and/ or tiny.

Trying to install LR5 serial number invalid?

There is a cloud-favor LR and a serial-number-flavor of LR and only one can be installed at a time.
I’d suggest you uninstall whatever LR5s you have on the new computer, there may be an Adobe Photoshop LR, an Adobe Lightroom, a Lightroom or a Photoshop Lightroom entry in your installed programs list, and uninstall all of them that are LR 5.
Then download and install the LR 5.6 near the top-left of the Adobe Downloads page, and enter your serial number and you should be all set:

Had installed cs4 trial version, then tried to enter serial number, but it was invalid and now I can't seem to reinstall the trial version as I had been using, as it comes up serial number invalid even though I am just asking for a trial basis of 30 days.

does anyone know what to do next so I can continue to use the trial versions of cs4. It appears as I have been kicked out for good because I entered the serial number wrong. Spoke to a rep and they said this was not available to purchase online, as it is an older version, but I need the old version to use the halftone option they have on cs4. sure would appreciate some advice, thanks to anyone who might have the answer.

If the trial version is indicating it is no longer available and you need to enter the serial number to activate it then that is the end of the trial version for that machine. If you have another machine then that will be one way of getting the trial version running for another trial period.
