PSE 12 and PS 12 registration problems

Question

I had pse11 and ps11 working on my computer using xp.
They stopped working with the invalid serial number problems that has plagued Adobe recently.
I filled in the required request forms for Adobe to fix it and received back new serial numbers that would work with PSE 12 and PS 12.
I then downloaded the new versions and installed them.
However I cannot use them because when it asks me to register the products it tells me that the certificates have expired.
I am using the correct login and password, without success.
I need these programs for work purposes
Any help?.

Here is an update.
I have now been able to use both PSE 12 and PS 12, however It is the trial version.
When I go to register the products I am asked to log into my Adobe account.
I then enter the serial numbers, am told that the certificates are invalid, and I end up at the operating screen of the trial versions.
I have logged into Adobe account directly and have entered the serial numbers of PSE 12 and PS 12, these have been accepted and appear under my products.
However both programs still open up as trial versions.
Anyone else with ideas about what is going on??
