PSE 2.0 für MAC - Öffnen schlägt fehl

Hallo an Alle PSE Experten,
versuche krampfhaft Photoshop Elements 2.0 (habe ich bei einem Scanner Kauf mit dazubekommen) auf meinem MAC OS X (MacBook Pro Intel) zu starten. Installation lief ohne Probleme. Jedesmal wenn ich PSE starte sucht das Programm irgendein Update herunterzuladen (1 von 2 lädt prima, dann 2 von Programm reagiert nicht mehr). Ich habe das ganze auch auf einem Power PC Mac versucht (auch MAC OS X) - mit dem gleichen Ergebnis. har irgend jemand eine Idee wie ich das Programm (endlich) nutzen kann?

Also die Entwicklungsschritte zu 3.0 und 4.0 waren gegenüber der von Dir gewählten Version schon gewaltig, sodaß Dich diese Version, wenn denn die Installation geklappt hat, nicht wirklich glücklich macht. Du solltest Dir hier eher die Mac Version von 4.0 besorgen, bzw. auf der jetzt vorliegenden 2.0 Version auf 4.0 upgraden. Das Macht dann Spaß und hat auch noch Zukunft.
Der heutige Wert von PSE 2.0 ist ungefähr so, als wenn Du Dir ein Auto kaufst und der Händler legt Dir großzügigerweise noch ein Poliertuch für die Innenscheibe bei, damit Du mal wischen kannst wenn es beschlagen ist...
Die jetzigen Mühen solltest Du Dir sparen!

Aus irgendeinem Grund ist die Datei kaputtgegangen. In den meisten Fällen ist dabei direktes SPeichern auf einen Sevrer die Ursache. Wenn das hier nicht der Fall war, dann würde ich auf jeden Fall die Festplatte überprüfen sowie die Zugriffsrechte überprüfen unf ggf. reparieren.
Sowie Sicherungskopien anlegen. Man sollte am besten nicht nur eine Kopie einer Datei haben. Auf dem mac geht das mit Time Machine ja vergleichsweise einfach.
Es gibt Rettungsdienste:
z.B. http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/buy_illustrator.html
Aber ich würde mir nicht allzuviel Hoffnung machen.

Import Intrastat-Daten - Artikel schlägt fehl

Dear Superuser!
Ich habe ein Problem beim Import per DTW der statistischen Warennummern!
Vorgehen:
1) Im Intrastat-Konfigurationstool sind die relevanten statistischen Warennummern eingepflegt und damit für das System eigentlich in Ordnung um sie den Artikeln auch zuweisen zu können.
2) Die Intrastat Artikel-Daten sind für den Import vorbereitet, habe ein Import-Sheet per DTWB erstellt und die Daten eingepflegt.
3) Importversuch per DTWB schlägt fehl, Begründung:
"Cannot add rows to a MasterData type UserTable U_BNITMDV"
Any ideas? HAt das jmd schon einmal versucht und eine ähnliche Fehlermeldung bekommen? Das es sich um Stammdaten handelt, dass weiß ich schon, nur - seit wann darf man hier nicht importieren??

Fehler ist erkannt!
Hintergrund: Die Tabelle, in welcher die INTRASTAT-Daten erfasst werden ist eine benutzerdefinierte Tabelle.
PER Workbench läßt sich diese nur bearbeiten, wenn der Name - nicht allein der CODE, auch der Name - ohne Leerzeichen ist. Das ist bei der besagten Tabelle nicht der Fall - über die Objektregistrierungsassistenten kann man dies ändern und dann funktioniert auch der entsprechende DTWB-Import ohne weitere Fehlermeldungen!!!
Hoffe, es hilft auch Euch ein bisschen weiter!

Can't import Canon S 50 Raw Files to PSE 4.0.1 in Mac 10.5.2

Help. I'm transitioning from OS9.1 to 10.5.2. I brought my Firewire card reader and several CF cards of RAW CRW images from my Canon S 50 to the Apple store 2 months ago and was able to open them in PSE 4. Based on this I purchased an Aluminum 24" imac, put in 4GB of RAM and ordered Photoshop Elements 4. Reading the Adobe forums, two things were advised: upgrade to 4.0.1 and upgrade the RAW converter to v4.3.1. I did both and am unable to import the RAW CRW files from my Canon via CF card. They appear in Bridge, but do not open in Elements 4.0.1 . Have I done something wrong? My goal is to archive the files, but also convert them to DNG. Is the 4.3.1 upgrade wrong for these first generation Canon RAW files? I've scanned the archive prior to posting, and have posted to the PS Elements site. They suggested I ask advice here, as I've followed there upgrade advice and it didn't work. Thanks in advance. Paul

The download did say it is for Photoshop Elements 4. That is what has me so confused. I can't find where Adobe lists what specific Camera RAW files each upgrade will work with. I'm wondering if I should have stayed with the original PSE 4 RAW converter rather than doing the upgrade? If I do go back, will the older DNG conversion still work with more modern software in the future? I just purchased Elements4 for Mac because I tested it at the Apple store and it worked in OS 10.5.1. I hope the 10.5.2 upgrade didn't mess things up? My wife will kill me if I can't produce images of our new grand nephew. We saw him 23 minutes after he was born last month in California! She wants the photos NOW.

PSE 11 not compatible with Mac Mountain Lion?

Before I upgraded to Mountain Lion and bought PSE 11, I checked to make sure they were compatible. Sure enough, on the Photoshop package it says it runs on" Mac OS v. 10.6 through v. 10.8". At the beginning of my "installation" I got a message saying I couldn't use the PSE 11 Install application "because Power PC applications are no longer supported." When I researched this problem online I found that all the geeks know that you can't install PSE 11 on a Mac running Mountain Lion because Mac no longer has Rosetta, a dynamic binary translator for Mac OSX that allowed Power PC applications to run.
Since Rosetta hasn't been on new Macs since Snow Leopard (2008), wouldn't you think Adobe would invent an Install.app that wasn't Power PC? Or do they hate Apple? (I've heard they do.)

Dianaapp this could also be an indication that your installation media has become damaged. Can you please try copying the install files to your desktop and see if you receive a disk error?

I have installed Photoshop Elements 11 on two Macs running 10.8 and my own Mom just upgraded to 10.8 and was able to install Photoshop Elements 11 successfully as well.

PSE 10 Install issue with Mac OS 10.6.8

The second downloaded version made it farther than the first on the installation. It makes it to the installation of PSE 10 and then jumps from 60% installed to 98% and shows the above message. This is getting really frustrating given that it takes me several hours to download a copy of this software.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I deleted (and emptied the trash) of the Adobe folder in the Hard drive>library>application support folders, uninstalled the partial install of PSE 10 using Adobe's uninstall, turned off the antivirus software, and tried installing from a new administrative account. Here is the error code from this most recent attempt.

This computer has had some previous Photoshop versions migrated to it over the years (Photoshop 4.0 for OS 9, and Photoshop 7.0). Photoshop 7.0 stopped working after I upgraded the OS from Tiger to Snow Leopard, and I no longer have the disks or serial number so that is why I'm trying install PSE 10. Could these old versions (which I tried to delete, but did not have a specific uninstall version for) be a source of this issue? If so, is there a way to make sure they're all gone?

Premiere elements 8 projekte auf Mac öffnen

ich versuche verzeifelt einen Weg zu finden, wie ich meine alten, auf dem PC mit Premiere Elments 8 erstellten Projete auf meinem neuen Mac bearbeiten kann. Weder das aktuelle PE noch eine alte PE Version 9 für Mac können die alten Projekte öffnen. Hat jemand eine IDee?

Nee, das wird wohl gar nicht gehen, weil in älteren Versionen die Projekte sowieso plattformspezifisch sind. Das hat sich erst mit Version 9 oder 10 geändert. Du wirst gar nicht drumrum kommen, dir zumindest mit Bootcamp oder irgendeiner Virtualisierungslösung ein Windows auf dem Rechner einzurichten, wenn dir das so wichtig ist.

PSE 10 really slow on mac 10.8.2

I've been using PSE 10 for a while on my OX S Mac. Processor 2.4 GHz intel core 2 duo, Memory 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, software 10.8.2.
It was not slow before but know it freezes up so much that it becomes nearly inoperable. I checked my memory and I have plenty of space. I shut down all the other applications. I boosted up the amount of RAM PSE can use. I decreased the amount of undo states PSE can keep. But even with all that, it still was slow. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and that didn't fix the problem either.
Is there anything I can do to get it back to the speed it was at?

However, having said that, 2GB is a miserably small amount of ram to be running any recent version of OS X. I'd seriously think about adding more if you plan to keep this computer for any length of time.

PSE 8.0 issue with Mac 10.10.2 - Please help

PSE 8.0 was provided when I purchased a Canon CanoScan9000F. Software was uploaded to mac OS10.6.8 via disc provided. I have now purchased a new mac running OS10.10.2 when I try to openthe software I get error message 150.30. I cannot reinstal via disc as new computer doesn't have a disc-drive. Please help

Did you try to migrate PSE from time machine or another backup?
You can never, never, never copy an installed copy of PSE. It just makes a big ol’ mess and now you will have a lot more work to do to fix things. Even if you didn't copy the actual program but only your documents/settings, you will still have the same problem.
First you must download and run this:

Which won’t seem to do anything but is necessary to break the links within the program. Then you must go around and manually remove all the bits you can find, not only from Applications, but also from your username>library>preferences and hard drive>library>application support>adobe. Let me know if you have trouble finding those folders. Spotlight will not help you with this kind of search; it’s programmed to skip these files.
Then you can reinstall from scratch using your original media. Since your new mac doesn't have a disc drive, you will need to find someone who still has one or use your old computer if you still have it to copy the contents of the disc to something like a thumb drive, then copy the files to the new computer to run the installer.

PSE 11 failed installation on Mac: HELP!

I spent most of yesterday trying to install PSE 11 (from disc) on my MacBook Pro (after installing a new SSD) - but failing miserably.
I already have CS5 on the MacBook Pro.
Although I am a veteran Mac user (since 1988) I've hit a mental brick wall: I've tried using the Adobe tool for clearing out previous installations of PSE (going back to PSE6).
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. This is the latest error report...

PSE 10 Trial - crash on mac oxs lion

Need help, I need phot editing software such as PSE 10 and since installing it has used up all my VM on my mac and it crashes the machien when I never had an issue before installing this software. I dont have long left on the trial to decide if it is worth the hassle now. I have 16gb of ram on my mac and normally it runs v fast - not since installing this product. Have i done soemthing wrong and need urgent help please.

PSE 10 Install not starting Mac

I have OS X 10.6.6 and was given PSE 10 as a gift on disk. Trying to install and after inserting first disk - it is not recognizing the disks and will not play. I have QuickTime and it plays other DVD's just fine. I opened the disk folders and tried opening files... nothing has worked.

Did you try just disc 3? The (very limited and frustratingly lacking) instruction on the disc itself says "to install for mac os: start with disc 3".
I just bought this myself tonight; I have it installed but haven't figured out much else.

PSE 8 Licensing problem on Mac with OSX 10.8.4

Trying to edit some Aperture pics with my PSE 8 on my Mac with OSX 10.8.4 the following messge appeared:
Then found I could not open PSE independently of Aperture (version 3.4.5) - and kept getting the same message each time.
Not sure of the current state of my PSE 8 but my Applications Folder shows me the following:
So far as I am aware my PSE * has been kept fully updated using the Mac's automatic updater.
I have had this PSE * since new, just after its first appearance and registered it with Adobe immediately.
It has worked fine but my latest experience may be the first time of use since updating to Mac OSX 10.8.4. Not sure.

Found and deleted the Flexnet Publisher folder.
Downloaded the Adobe Licensing Repair Tool ( = LicenseRecovery 111.dmg)
Run License Service Update (bearing in mind this is intended for MacOSX 10.7 and not 10.8 which is my system), as follows:
Double clicked this 111.dmg to get Volume (folder) LicenseRecovery 11.6.1 and opened the folder to locate LicenseRecoveryLauncher.
Got to Terminal and opened it.
Typed sudo python with end space and dragged LicenseRecoveryLauncher app in and hit Return.
(Was not sure at all what was meant by the" path to the APP file").
Text and Password: appeared. I tried to enter my password but the screen remained totally unresponsive.
I hit return and tried to enter my password again - but no characters appeared as before. Hit Return and text appeared seeming to indicate some error. (I have no idea what is going on - the use of Terminal is totally strange to me.)
Cleared all from terminal using Edit and tried all this a second time with the same result. A screen shot is attached.
Hence had to abandon Solution 2.
At this point I saw the further solutions and decided I was not competent to use these and so suspended my attempt to get my Photoshop Elements 8 running again while I consulted Adobe further for a more user friendly approach.
I do not know if there is any other approach you can offer to make my PSE8 come to life again which does not involve a more detailed knowledge of computer management than I possess but I should like to know, in simple terms just what has gone wrong with my PSE8 that stops me using it.
Could you please answer my questions below?
Is the "Licensing" thing a problem with Adobe or with Apple or with a third party?
If the License is something issued by Adobe on original purchase, cannot Adobe simply issue me with a new license?
Do I have to buy a later version of PSE in order to use it again - and if so what guarantees do I have that the same problem will not arise in a few years' time?
