PSE 4.0 error message "DB API"

When I try to save an image after editing, I get the following message: "Organizer DB API failed to execute correctly." And it doesn't let me save the edited photo.
I tried the standard edit and quick fix, and both are doing this.
I've been using this software for a few years with no problems such as this. Anyone know what the problem could be? I'm using Windows XP.

Or you can make a new catalog and then try the same operation again.

PSE 8 constant error message

Just got a brand new iMac and finally able to install PSE 8. I am constantly getting this error message: "This is not a valid Portable Document File (PDF) document. It cannot be opened."
I get it when I first launch PSE and haven't even opened anything yet, and when I do open a file, I get this message constantly all the while I am editing away at it. It doesn't prevent me opening the file or using PSE as normal, but this message is constantly popping up and is very annoying.

PSE 10 "help" - error message re Adobe Air

I am unable to access the PSE help within PSE 10. Each time I get an error message indicating that the problem relates to Adobe Air and that I should re-install it (Adobe Air). I have tried re-installing both Adobe Air and PSE10 but the problem persists - any suggestions

A clean re-install should have solved it.
I'd do these steps:
Close PSE.
Use Task Manager's "Processes" tab to kill any running Adobe or PhotoshopElements processes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall Adobe AIR.
Reboot.
Get the latest version of AIR from here:
http://get.adobe.com/air/
Install AIR.

Financial Reports error message Java API can't connect to olap

Hi,
On version 11.1.1.3, after reapplication of 11.1.1.3 because of other problems with shared services, get the following message on the diagnostics for the financial reporting server.
Launch external checker with next command: E:\Hyperion\common\validation\9.5.0.0\launchEssbaseJavaAPI.bat EssbaseJAPIConnect admin ****** hypolap.msj.org http://hypapp2.msj.org:13080/aps/JAPI
Error: Result: -1; Error message: Cannot connect to olap service. Cannot connect to Essbase Server. Error:Essbase Error(1051293): Login fails due to invalid login credentials
Recommended Action: Make sure external checker is working.
Financial reports over the Web can not connect to the essbase server. Financial reports through the studio works fine. Any suggestions how to troubleshoot or resolve the issue with the login credentials for the Java API to essbase?

Things to check -
1) Does the user you specified in the connection have the role OLAP_USER
2) Does the user you specified in the connection have access to an OLAP schema (analytic workspace or CWM2 ROLAP schema)
3) Have you installed the correct JDBC files from your database instance into the BI Beans JDBC directory

After downloading PSE 13, receive error message cannot open windows temporary internet files

After downloading Photoshop elements 13, I receive an error message as it tries to open (but instead opens my PSE 9 application) and this message appears: "cannot open C:Users\Spears\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.1E5\AV8ZNMD1\Photoshop Elements_13_LS25_win64.7z"
I have been trying various fixes to download this for 2 days now. Can someone please help me?

Did you check if the Firefox file is in that location?
If it isn't there then do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
If the file is there then do a malware check with some malware scan programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.<br />

When I export from LR5.3 I get an error message Win32 API error . However the export seems to work.

The message is Win32 API error 2 ("The system cannot find the file specified") when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkplace.shellExecute. However the export works. What is happening and how do I get rid of the error message?

Near the bottom of the Export Daialog, in the "Post-Processing" section make sure that the "After Export" box is not empty (which is invalid and causes the export operation to trip up). Use the drop-down to select a valid choice such as "Do Nothing".

The status of 'U' indicates Unexpected Error; 'S' indicates Success, while 'E' indicates Error.
A typical API returns the messages as a stack, which needs to be retrieved using calls to FND_MSG_PUB.GET(). If there are more than one messages on the stack, you need to loop around and retrieve each of them - to identify the root problem.
You can use code snippet such as the following to retrieve the error messages, if any, returned by the API.

PSE 12 Installation Error Message

Unable to complete PSE12 installation. Getting Error message 1311 source file not found F:/Adobe photoshop elements 12\data1.Cab. File is on disk, but unable to progress further. How do I resolve this issue?

Have PSE 11, getting error message

after the command Exporting I get the message: Internal failure: win32 API error2 calling ShellExecuteErW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute. System is only exporting Thumnails.
System is windows8, 64bit Lightroom 5.2 (newest version)

At the bottom of the import dialog is a popup marked Post-processing. It's probably currently empty. Set it to Do Nothing and try the export again.

Error message when publishing to Flickr through Lightroom 3

When I update one of my collections in Lightroom and then directly publish into my Flickr account, I often get the following error message: Flickr API returned an error message (function upload, message Filesize was zero). Does anyone know why I am getting this or what I need to do to resolve? Thanks in advance for your help

i get exactly the same thing. but i do have mobile me. i created a site and published it to one of my mobile me accounts. it worked fine. then i moved the file to another computer, made some changes to the text and republished. this time i got the 'publishing error' message described above.
then i tried opening a a new mobile me account, and published said site to this new account. same problem.
then i tried publishing to a folder. i also cannot publish to a folder, or more specifically, when i publish only some of the files seem to get published before that message appears.
strange thing is some of these files do appear in the folder and i was successfully able to upload this folder to the iDisk. and the site partially worked (to see it: www.designersdetails.com) but only those files that got published before the error message work. a good portion, including the picture galleries and the google maps page do not work.
can anyone shed any light on this? i've followed all of the suggestions i have found in the forums. nothing works.

Trying to Open PSE 9 and get Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error Message HELP please! :)

Everything worked fine until I paid and downloaded a program called Rad Lab that works in Photoshop Elements. I got that downloaded and then tried to open PSE and it won't open and I keep getting this error message.
I've attached a screen shot of what the message is. Also Adobe ran an update on my computer and it came up with an error message as well. Adobe Photoshope Elements 9.0.3. Update- "Patch cannot be applied. Please contact customer support"
So I called customer support and the wait time is over 1 hour so here I am on this forum trying to get some answers! If anyone can help I would appreciate it so much!!!
