PSE 5 - Runtime Error - Solution PLEASE....

I have run PSE 5 on a Windows XP Home Edition computer successfully for about 3 years, recently I split the Organiser in two with no problem. But now I cannot open the Organiser properly, its comes up "Not Responding" as `Topless Holidays.psa`, no idea how this came about. Cannot close this window without having an Error Box - "Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library. be\PhotoshopElementsOrganiser.exe. This is followed by "The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more infornation." I have found no easy solution for this, uninstalling/re-installing does not work either. I have limited knowledge of computers so a step by step solution would be most helpful and gratefully received. Thank you.

Please go to %appdata%\adobe\elements organizer\5.0\organizer and delete psa.prf ans status.dat files. I'm not sure if these used to exist for PSE5 since i don't have PSE5.
Another thing to try is launch organizer keeping Shift key pressed and create a new catalog. This might help you t atleast get started with organizer if its only the old catalog that got affected due to abrupt shut down.
Thanks

  • Runtime error! Please help. Has anyone found a solution?

I just started to get the below error as soon as i open iTunes. Then it closes.
    Does anyone have a solution?
    Runtime Error!
    Program: c:/Program Files/ITunes/ITunes.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information.
It just randomly started happening as so I can't even get into iTunes without it closing. I'm not too tech savy so if anyone has any idea what to do, please please please let me know. Thanks!

change the order of operations here, placing: sb = new
    smallBox(); following the line: bb = new bigBox();
you cannot add a child to bb that does not yet exist. then
assign the x/y position within the main class previous to adding it
to the display list, rather than in the smallBox constructor, as

  • ITunes wont open because of runtime error? please help

Whenever I try to open my itunes the window pops up but then is followed by a message saying:
    "Runtime Error!
This application has reguested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way."
    Please help guys

Some users here have reported that one cause of the Runtime error is the Apple Software Update, so you might try removing that and see if that fixes the problem. Removing the Software Update shouldn't affect iTunes itself (though as with any software maintenance operation, it would be wise to make a backup of your purchased tracks before you try it), you just won't get automatic update checking.
    Hope this helps.

  • Runtime Error - Help Please!!

I have been making some CD's using iTunes (in fact, I've burned about 10 in the last couple days) and tonight when I opened it up to do a few more, I started having problems. First of all, even though I did not click to go to the iTunes store, it sat there for almost an hour trying to connect to it. Then, I went away from my computer for a few minutes, and when I came back, there was a Run time error. The notification box said "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" and the box text was the following:
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I click OK and it automatically closes iTunes, and then the same thing happens over when I re-open it. I can't even access any of the iTunes menus, let alone any of my music.
It's outside normal business hours and I want to get this taken care of ASP. Anyone have any ideas (besides "Get a Mac" ;)?

Update: I just tried reopening it again, and it worked this time. I was able to finish making the CD's I was working on, however when I was finished, I went to check for iTunes updates (to get 7.3) and it gave me the same message again.

  • PRE 9 Organizer Runtime Error - Solution?

I was getting "Runtime Error" when I clicked the Organize button in my licensed PRE 9 (and also PSE 9).  I uninstalled and tried to reinstalled both. Then the programs wouldn't even install. I got an error saying it couldn't open the installation log file.  On the second chat session the agent had me delete everything in the Temp file.  To find this file on your system go to the search box and enter %temp%.  The agent then had me reinstall the programs right at C:\ rather than under the more usual "C:\Program Files\Adobe\something".  Everything (PSE 9 and PRE 9) seems to be working now.  I have my fingers crossed.

It's great to hear success stories, tj! Happy moviemaking!

  • Runtime error while creating logical database report pgm

    Hi,
I have started doing pgm on Logical Database report using VBAK,VBAP and MARA. I took VBAK as the root node and VBAP& MARA  as subnodes. The actual requirement is:-  I am trying to place these tables in Application server for perfromance issue using Logical database. Based on sales, the items need to be be displayed. And based on Items, the material data should be displayed. So root node here is VBAK.
I have created these 3 nodes in SE36 tx.code. when I go back to se36 main screen and under "subobjects"  ,I've selected "selections". I got a dialog box saying that "Nodes for which free selections are to be made". I have clicked on the radio buttons. And then clicked on "transfer" . I am getting a runtime error . Please let me know the solution.
Please do send me the actual process to goon with logical database reporting.

    Hello
Logically speaking, a company code can have more than one FSV as long as they share the same chart of accounts.
When COA is common, the FSV pattern can be designed seperatly to serve the purpose of varied reporting.
The dump you are getting is a temporary snag. Take a screen shot from SM54 after you execute the report and pass it to BASIS for analysis. They would fix that.

  • Pop ups on Standard MDM Portal iViews throw Portal Runtime Error

    Hi all,
We are facing some issues with MDM Standard Search iViews in Portal. We have configured MDM standard iViews using MDM Search Texts iView, MDM Result Set iView, MDM Search Picklists iView, MDM Item Details etc. We are facing a problem with the MDM Search Picklists iViews wherein we have to click the ellipses button to open the pop up. Whenever we open the pop up, the pop up shows Portal Runtime Error. Please find the screenshot below:
    http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/1138/portalruntimeerror.jpg
The MDM System is working fine. The other Standard iViews are also working fine. The surprising thing is that, when the Super Admin role is assigned to the user, the iViews start working perfectly as shown below:
    http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/6808/worksfinethisway.jpg
I have checked the permissions also on all these iViews as well as the System object and did not find any problem. Moreoever, this was working fine till some days back. All of a sudden these iViews have stopped working. Please guide me as to what can be the reason for this and any possible solutions.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ankur

I would check the logs but it sounds like a permission error to me.  Can you or your basis resources modify the Security Zones?
System Administration -> Permissions -> expand Security Zones folder -> right click on com.sap.pct.mdm.appl.masteriviews and select Open Permissions -> in the assign permissions section add read permissions for a particular user, role, or group which the user getting the error is part of, check the End User checkbox -> Save.  Login to the portal and try again.

  • Smartfomrs - runtime errors call_function_parm_missing

    Hi,
I am trying to add in address in the COMADDR windows in the standard smartform YBMY_MMGR1. I go to form interface -> import tab n add in IS_LFA1 type LFA1. Then create an address in the window n put &IS_LFA1-ADRNR& in adddress number under general attribute tab. When i try to display this in MB90 i receive error runtime errors call_function_parm_missing
    please advice
    thanks

    hi rajesh,
Your answer in the form of steps :
    1) In standard smartform you are trying to display some extra field (in your case
    ADRNR from table LFA1).
    2) First identify the Standard driver program that is used by your Smartform.
    3) Open that program and search for function module 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'.
    4) This function module will have a formname returned in import parameter
    'FM_NAME' in some parameter.
    5) Below SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME you would see a 'call function <parameter>',where
parameter is the same parameter used to get formname in step 4.
    6) In this call function you need to pass 'IS_LFA1-ADRNR' in the export parameter.
ie, for ex Write something like :
    ADRNR = IS_LFA1-ADRNR
    7) now open the form and in form interface add this variable along with the type.
    8) activate both driver program and form and i believe you should be able to see
the adrn(dont forget to add the variable in  the window you wish to use to display it)
Hope your issue get solved. <begging removed by moderator>

  • Runtime Errors         CONVT_NO_NUMBER

    Hi Experts,
we got a runtime error in program CONVT_NO_NUMBER ,here are the details of the error ,could not find a sap note on this.
same program is ran with same variant recently  but got this runtime error today ,please suggest how to correct this
The termination occurred in the ABAP program "/SAPAPO/SAPLMSDP_CAP" in
      "PROD_LIST_RESULT".
The main program was "/SAPAPO/RMSDPCAP ".
The termination occurred in line 1078 of the source code of the (Include)
      program "/SAPAPO/LMSDP_CAPF02"
of the source code of program "/SAPAPO/LMSDP_CAPF02" (when calling the editor
      10780).
The program "/SAPAPO/SAPLMSDP_CAP" was started as a background job.
Processing was terminated because the exception "CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER"
      occurred in the
procedure "PROD_LIST_RESULT" "(FORM)" but was not handled locally, not declared
      in the
    RAISING clause of the procedure.
The procedure is in the program "/SAPAPO/SAPLMSDP_CAP ". Its source code starts
      in line 1001
of the (Include) program "/SAPAPO/LMSDP_CAPF02 ".
    Error analysis
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER',
         was neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
         "PROD_LIST_RESULT" "(FORM)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
The program attempted to interpret the value "*08" as a number, but
since the value contravenes the rules for correct number formats,
        this was not possible.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi
    "*08
    1. I think this is some chararater that you have declared and the value is shooting to bypass the length. It is not able to handle the
value and a * is in place.
declare with appropriate data type by int or quan.. or char(xx) length to handle this.
SInce this is dealing with some background job its not clear loading of the data type . But u you can place the breakpoint at the code of line mentioned and observe the value .
    2.
if u r doing a char comparision then see that RHS is in quotes .
Ex : ZB eq 11 will go for a dump
    ZB eq '11' - > no dump
