PSE 6 for Mac, how to install the new layer mask tool

I just bought the new PSE 6 for Mac, whew what a change in the color of workspace.
My classmates and I are wondering how to install the free layer mask tool that Sue Chastain has on her About site.
Or perhaps first, has anyone used it and do you like it?

So I assumed afterwards that it wasn't for Mac. So I went ahead and installed the older action for my PSE 4.
I was hoping it was platform agnostic, but when I looked at this, the difference between the 2 versions,

Not knowing where the Previews folder was, threw me overboard.
And I didn't read all the way down Sue's page, as my old brain got ahead of my eyes.
So I really dont know what to do next with this, some of my classmates are wondering the same thing.

How to install the new OS X

Hello guys ..
I know that if i download the new software from the app store i can install it on my macbook air easily .. What i don't know is how to delete the previous OS (i want a install) and when i finish installing the new OS, how do i recover all my data from timemachine !!
If you can give me the step-by-step instruction it will be perfect..
I don't want to loose my photos, music and data file, word files etc. Are those files saved in time machine as well ?

I personally don't do that, even with Mac OS X, but other seem to find it works OK.
If you chose to first erase the drive during the first part of the new OS install then instal the new OS to a Clean drive if you have made the compplete system backup as I suggested you can use the Setup assistant system to copy over Programs, Settings and Personal files from that backup you made just before you started the process.

From what you say, you have probably opened Parallels Desktop. If you were not asked for your activation key, you will find a button called "Parallels Desktop" at the top left part of the screen, so press it, and you will find an option named "Activate" or something similar. Select it, and if Parallels Desktop is not activated, type the activation key. That's all.
Respecting to the window you are seeing now, you have to choose one option to create a virtual machine. For example, if you have got the operating system you want to install in a DVD (for example, Windows), choose DVD. If you have got the operating system installer in an ISO file, choose Image File. You can find more help in the Parallels website.

A popular problem; Can't install the new Creative Cloud Tool

Sorry to bore everbody to death with this but after mauling my way thru literally piles of bits of threads and so forth off google, the end result is lots of confusion.
My situation: Running win 7 64 bit (uptodate)
I've been running Creative cloud tools for nearly a year, but this latest update or maybe its not the latest but the update during June... has left me unable to install the new CC tool.
When I run the installer, it ends with the silly and useless message:
"We've encountered the following issues:
Creative Cloud desktop failed to install"
So far no tools have failed to start, at least not those I regularly use (PS, LR, Bridge, etc)
So, I see some posts suggesting the 'cleaner' and when I read the README with it, it sounds really time consuming and a royal pain to follow the instructions... all the backing up etc etc etc.
I'm hoping someone can layout a sort of outline of how to procede here. I've read a few reports of folks succeeding in getting past the problem... but not a discription of how they did it.
I really do not want to completely disrupt my work and my time going thru some ponderous plan only to find it didn't work and no progress has been made.
So if there is a known set of steps to take that are likely to end in success please someone lay them out. I haven't found a complete discription of how to procede.

the initial reply from Jeff is correct, but the error occurs on my Windows 7 64bit every time a new update for Creative Cloud Desktop is available. I cannot remember a single update of this tool, that ever worked. I always have to uninstall the previous version (which is still there!), delete the OOBE directory and reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop from the Creative Cloud website. This tool seems to be very buggy.
What I cannot understand further is, that while installing the Creative Cloud Desktop (I mean a successful installation process), my explorer.exe is being restarted close to the end of the installation process. This seems to be an unusual behaviour while installing an application like the Creative Cloud Desktop - in fact, I cannot remember any other normal application to have such an effect on the explorer.exe while being installed.
What's wrong?

Why do you want to update the BIOS?!
Do you have any big troubles with your notebook?!
The Toshiba European driver page provides BIOS for XP and BIOS for Vista.
Both BIOS versions must be executed while the operating system is running!
If you use the Linux on your notebook, you will be not able to update the BIOS!!!
Do you understand?
Once again; The BIOS update should be done ONLY if its absolutely necessary. In other case dont update it!

PSE6 for MAC - How to launch the Organizer?

I have changed from PSE5 on Windows to PSE6 on a Mac. When I opened PSE5 a screen would pop up to ask if I wanted the Editor or the Organizer. If I chose the Editor and later needed my organizer, I could click on the PSE5 icon and the same choice screen would come up.
When I opened PSE6 on our new mac (yes, I'm a mac newbie) it automatically opened the Editor and I cannot find how to launch the organizer. when I click on the PSE6 icon again it just takes me right back to my open Editor.
Any help on how to launch my organizer would be greatly appreciated!

I have to say that gives me a sick feeling in my stomach! I use PSE for digital scrapbooking and have all my backgrounds and embellishments categorized by color and element type (thousands of them). I really thought I'd be able to import my catalog.

I was told that they wouldn't sell it to a third party. But if you got it, Apple installs it without charge so I'd let them do it and insure that your warranty isn't voided. Get to know the folks at the apple store near you (if you have one). They're really helpful and do things "gratis" on occasion. This is one of the reasons I usually try to "buy locally" for everything. It may be cheaper online but the personal relationship often helps out in the long run and the cost winds up being less. fwiw, my 2¢.

Download & install the NitroX for Struts-JSF product in a separate folder other than your struts installation.
And then launch NitroX (Start > M7 NitroX > NitroX 2.1), this will give you a separate Struts-JSF trial license valid for 15 days.

I don't know fi you want to install the dialog instance on the same or on a different server. First, please refer to installation guide
in session "dialog instance installation" for step by step installation.
Note that if you want to install this dialog instance on an other server some directories in central system should be share such as: profile,global and
exe directory.
