PSE 7 Trial Version

Half way through PSE 7 trial version, and intend to buy full disc version ( prefer to have disc version in case of any future problems).
Should I cancel the try out version before installing the disc? I currently run PSE3, should this be uninstalled after installation of PSE7 and the transfer of all Catalogue information from PSE3?
Thanks in advace for any help.

  • Question with PSe Trial Version

I have recently installed the trial version (8).  I have ran it for a couple days with no problems other than it being particularly slow.
Now though it is crashing to the desktop.  I can open to the splash screen.  As soon as I try to select Organize or Edit though, the program exits to the desktop.
Is this a known issue?  Maybe something specific to the trial version?

    Please try few things -
    1) Delete PSE preferences and then try launching the application.
    2) Try to open a new catalog.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Sourabh

  • PSE 8.0 (Mac) Trial Version, no selection for Slideshow.

I select photos in Bridge then click on Create, there appears to be selections for Web Photo Gallery and for PDF Slideshow but no selection for plain ordinary Slideshow. Did Adobe eliminate the plain jane Slideshow from this version?
    Regards,
    Bob

Thanks Barbara, I will go to the Hands On Training Room at the Green Valley Camera Club and use one of the Vista machines to build my lesson plan. Hopefully that version will have a basic Slideshow selection. When I saw the new PSE Version 8.0 for the Mac I thought it would be the one to use to teach the new class next week, so I installed the Trial version.
Our club is very active and has just installed PSE ver 8.0 on all six of the Vista machines and the instructors console. In case you want to have a look at us, our web site is: www.gvcameraclub.org
Our membership oscillates between 1,000 and 1,200 members. Right now we have 120 signed up for our 10-week Photography Basics Course.
Thank you again for your prompt reply,

  • Re-installing PSE 10 Trial version Mac OS X

Okay, I uninstalled my trial version of PSE 10 while troubleshooting other issues. I then re-downloded the install img and am now attempting to re-install, but receive the following warning:
One discussion mentioned unchecking "Verify checksums" for disk images. When I do that, I get past the above warning, the install starts, but then fails and I am presented with this:

    Hi, PizzaFiend.
I've spent the last 2 days trying to overcome the same failure, including about 4 downloads and 5 hours in on-line chat to Adobe!  Was just about to re-install the whole MacOS when I found this thread.  Will try your solution later, with fingers crossed.
Out of interest, had you, like me, managed to succesfully download the Premiere Elements 10 trial?  If so, wouldn't that point to a corrupt PSE 10 download file rather than a corrupt ADA?  (I've tried downloading from the Adobe UK and Adobe US sites though, so would you think both sites have faulty PSE 10 files?)
I really hope the products are worth it - I'm not sure whether to go for Pinnacle Studio, Avid's product, Apple's Final Cut Pro or Adobe s/w, as I convert to an iMac from Windows PCs.
    Good luck!
    Les

  • Trouble downloading trial version of PSE 10 onto MacMini

I purchased PSE 10 software to install on my mac mini OSX 10.8.1. When I put the disc into my external drive, the software does not begin installing. I was told to try to download trial version from Adobe and later, enter my Key Code to install software this way. I downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant just fine but am getting Error 109 when I try to download the trial version. My network connection is fine and my disk is brand new. Please help.

    Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant
And make sure you use the right disc (Disc 3) in the first place. Macs also do not autorun, so you need to launch the installer manually.

  • Update to inspirations browser fails in trial version of PSE 10

Downloaded trial version of PSE 10.  The second time I opened the program the Welcome Screen had instructions on updating the Inspirations Browser, which I had been using to access tutorials.  I deleted the browser from my hard drive as instructed then clicked on download.  An error was returned "A download error occured. Try to down load again?". Appears to be downloading Adobe Air, but I can't be sure.  I tried deleting Air and then tried Inspiration update again with same result.
No help from support, naturally, since it is trial version.
    Windows Vista, sp2.

Set IE as your default browser.

  • Want to Buy Already Downloaded Trial Version PSE 13

I downloaded a trial of PSE 13 and now I wish to buy it. However, when I try to do so, a window appears asking for a serial number, which, of course, is what I wish to purchase. I tried entering the serial number I have for PSE 12, but the window informed that it was not a valid number for PSE 13, which is exactly what I want to obtain by buying it. Arrrgggghhh. I suppose I could go buy a disk somewhere and enter the number on that disk, rather than download and install PSE 13 all over again. I wonder if that would work? I've already installed some plugins into the trial version that I'd just as soon not have to reinstall - one of them is a real pain in the neck to install. What do you guys think? How can I get a valid serial number for 13 without having to download and reinstall it? Or, maybe I should just stick with 12.

Nope, didn't work. Seems obvious enough, but the problem was when I clicked on Buy Now, program wanted my PSE 13 serial number. Finally figured out (duh) to click on Learn More, which took me where I needed to go to buy the license number. Boy, am I dumb sometimes, but, fortunately, not as dumb as not knowing to click on "Buy Now." Thanks, though, for your input; you never know just how out to lunch someone can be.

  • Certificate error when downloading trial version of pse 12

I get this error when trying to download trial version.

worked like a charm!  I know PSE but don't know computers that well:))

  • Have lossed PSE 12 and dont know my serial No: as i downloaded it it just shows a trial version and tiactiate it it asks for myserial No:

i have lost my PSE 12 Software when I try to start it it brings up a trial version and asks me to sign in and reactivate it but I download the software from Adobe and cannot find my serial number

    Hi,
If you go to https://forums.adobe.com/ you should see Manage your Accounts - click on that
Under Plans and Products, click on View All
Then click on View Other Products
That should show you your Photoshop Elements 12 and if you expand the entry it should display your serial number.
That assumes you registered you copy under that Adobe Id
Otherwise, you need to contact Adobe here http://helpx.adobe.com/uk/contact.html
You will probably need proof of purchase.
    Good luck

  • PSE 12 trial version - loading problems

I have been trying for 3 days to load the 30 day trial of PSE12 on my new computer. My computer is loaded with Windows 8.  I have encountered problems over and over again with loading PSE12, but never the same problem.
For example: after one download the start menu would open but it wouldn't go to the organizer or editor.  So I deleted that program and re-loaded it BUT -
then , it went straight to the organizer - and froze, so I clicked out - tried to click back in, and NOTHING> >> not even the start menu.
THIS IS SOOO FRUSTRATING! Makes me really second guess whether I should purchase this or not
    Please help!!!

I think it said error 101, but not totally sure that I recall it
correctly.  I deleted everything and reinstalled and then it  worked.

  • PSE 10 trial version - edit features???

I downloaded PSE 10 trial version, but only have the most basic editing features. Is this all you get with the trial version? Specifically, I want to be able to select and remove a portion of a photo (not crop), and to insert this into another photo.

First of all are you in the Editor and not the Organizer? If you're in the organizer, right-click a photo and choose Edit with Photoshop Elements to launch the editor.
If you're already in the editor, click Edit>Full:

  • PSE installation issues - How do you uninstall trial version???

I've read several posts about this already, but I can't seem to figure out how to uninstall the trial version of PSE for mac. (I am getting the critical errors/incompatible payloads error message. Shame on Adobe for not fixing this yet.)
I read not to dump it into the trash. But when I launch the program from untilities I don't see any option to unintall. One post said to "remove it" How do you do this? The delete key doesn't work. How on earth do you uninstall something? I can't even get into the trial version because it keeps asking for a serial number (and I've read entering it doesn't help. I'm so lost, and really didn't plan on spending my hard earned Friday night doing this.) Any help would be much much appreciated!

There is no uninstaller. The only two icons in the Adobe Installer folder were something called Exented Scripts Installer and the Photoshop Elements icon. I got tired of messing around with it after several hours and finally ran the cleanscript 3 program which worked; I was able to install the purchased version right away. It still really bothers me that I could not figure out how to uninstall though, I'm sure I will need to in the future.
I wonder if my computer is just missing this installer/uninstaller option?

  • Installing trial version PSE 8 for Mac

I have just downloaded the free trial version of PSE 8 for Mac - or I thought I had.  I ended up with the Akamai Client Installer icon, the PSE_8_WWEFDJ disc image and the icon for Adobe PSE 8 (a blue disc) on the desktop.  When I open either of the latter two, all I have is the Read Me document.  I was hoping to be able to actually use PSE 8 and compare it with Aperature before deciding what to buy.  Have I done something wrong or is this all I am entitled to with the free download?

You may have already set one up with a password from your original utility disk.
If not there are a number of video tutorials available on line.

  • Can PSE 13 be installed over the trial version or should the trial version be uninstalled first.

I have just completed the trial version of PSE 13 and in the fulness of time I will be purchasing the boxed version of the software. When it comes to installing it do I need to uninstall the trial version first please.
Sorry if this seems a dumb question but the only way I will know is by asking.

    Hi,
You can convert the trial version to a licensed version by just supplying the serial number when you buy it - no need to uninstall/install.
