PSE 8.0 Contact List disappeared

I use Windows 7 and have installed PSE 8.0. I am also using Windows Live Mail for e-mail. When trying to share photos, PSE has worked until yesterday. The entire contact list has simply disappeared- apparently deleted. Also, now when I am in the Organizer Screen and try to type in a contact, PSE will not accept any contacts.

Go to:
Edit > Preferences > Sharing
Select Adobe E-Mail Service as the client.
Go to the Share tab in organizer module to test it.
Wait for verification email.
Enter verification code (do not copy & paste the code)
All of the above assumes you are backing up your pics or uploading some of them them to Photoshop.com
When you share a photo Adobe then sends your email with a thumbnail attachment which does not crash the recipients mail box. The recipient can then click on the thumbnail to see your original photo on-line.

    This is a fix/workaround for that issue.
    If you dont have a gmail account. make one.
    setup itunes to sync contacts to Google.
    run a sync with your iPad on itunes like you normally would. This should fix that problem since the contact entries will be reset and replaced again.

    i saw the file, and clicked on it, they asked me which app should the pics be viewed in (since i didnt have iphoto) i clicked on aperture, and currently they are being imported, but its taking a lot of while, along with that annoying rainbow loading sign:( will all of them be imported?

      I have a Nokia N8 , recently i am facing one problem,  my all the contact no. are disappear  from the  contact list , I don't know  how   was this happened?   Before 10 days  same problem i was face but after 2 -3 days  all the contact list are appeared. so please tell me the solution for this. I  can't wait for the 2-3 days. If any one have solutions please let me know.

    Every now and then my Nokia N8 contact list freezes when I try to select a contact fom the list, when starting a call or by accessing the contact list directly. A reboot, factory reset nor firmware reinstalling doesn't solve the problem, it only works temporarily. When the list freezes I am able to swipe through it up and down, though selecting contacts is not possible. I do see a cursor blinking in the lower half of the screen, at the position where the search window normally is. The search window itself is vanished.
    Does anyone happen to know how i can really fix the problem permanent?
    I used to experience the same problem on the N8, though the freeze isn't only limited to accessing the contact list but happens randomly when swiping through home screens, opening a folder etc. I managed to resolve this problem though I have forgotten what exactly it is. If I'm not mistaken it is due to an installed (bad) application that is causing the freeze. In my case it's the Whatsapp application. The freezing problem seemed to have disappeared after I removed the application from the phone and reintall it back again.

    Try a battery pull (hard reset) as your first step.

    No data will be lost when doing the following: pull the battery while the device is ON.
    Replace after a minute, Let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is fixed.

  • Entire Contact List Disappears on iPhone 4s/iOS6 and Reappears

    After switching to iOS6 my entire Contact List suddenly disappears. Mostly, a few minutes later it re-appears. If it doesn't then I need to disable iCloud Backup and then enable it. The Contacts disappear even when iCloud is disabled. I can't save any updates to Contacts either on iCloud or on iTunes. Any ideas?

    This or similar 3rd party software might work.

    I have an iphone 4.  Strange contacts i.e  'EM. Yeeu, Kieu, Sep. Hai' keep appearing in my list of contacts.  It is possible to delete the numbers attached to each of these but not the names.  Also frequently my list of contacts disappears completely and I have to re-inseert manually each time.   Can anybody explain how to stop both these things happening please?

    @Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
    UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
    Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
    You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
    Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
    Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
    Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
    IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
    You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
    Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
    I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

    Hi,
    everything worked fine until this week. My contacts were synchronized with outlook exchange. I got all contact phone & email details.
    Now, I see only email addresses of my contacts. Forcing manual synchronization don't help. It seems that the synchronization works fine but there are still no phone numbers available. A mobile phone without stored phone number is a nightmare!
    Can somebody help me?

    Hi, hope you can help!!!
    I downloaded and installed version 5.0.  It gave me an option to backup my contact list with a valid email address, which I did.
    Well, now that i updated the device software, my contact list disappeared and when I request the email confirmation in order to restore my contact list THE EMAIL NEVER COMES TO THE PHONE.  It comes to my regular Outlook desktop email but not to the phone.  I have sent emails to that address to ensure that the email system is working properly and I am receiving email to the phone.
    Why can't I get this one email?

    If you have been making backups to icloud, then restore the latest one for which the device had the contacts when the backup was made.

    Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  This will erase your device.  Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

        Hi macmac57. I don't memorize my numbers anymore, so I know how important it is to have all your contacts on your phone at all times. Did an update occur or a new application download when your contacts disappeared? Have you been backing up your device with your computer? You can try to restore your contacts from your last backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
    Are you syncing your iPhone between multiple computers? This can sometimes create issues with your contacts. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1474
