PSE 8 - Restore selected items deleted from catalog

With folder locations selected I had replecated a number of folders as Albums in My Catalog. Not being satisfied I deleted these from the catalog and they no longer are visible under their original folder location within Organizer Display. I wish to restore these but they do not appear in the Recycle bin. In Windows Explorer they are still accessible in their original folders. How do I restore these to the folder locations in Organizer's display?
Two other minor issues.
1) A black box with 'Who's this' in white letters randomly appears over a face in a photo. Can I turn this off?
2) When in Display folder view a 'no go' sign appears in red with a white line drawn through it. Obviously finger trouble on my part but how do I switch it off?
Any help would be most appreciated.
Neil

Change the option Edit > Preferences > Keyword Tags And Albums > Display Hints About People Recognized to "Hide".

  • How to restore a site deleted from SharePoint Designer 2010

    Hi All,
I have opened a test server site in share point designer 2010, & deleted that particular site in SP designer 2010,can anyone let me know how to restore the site by using SharePoint Designer?
I followed below mentioned procedure to restore the site using SharePoint Designer
Open SharePoint Designer, File tab, Sites under File Tab, Open site, specified the URL of site,opened..
It is getting connected to the Organisation network & showing "path does not exist, check the path and try again".
Whether, Is it possible to restore the site deleted from share point designer in site collection recycle bin. or
Is it possible to copy the site from Production server to test server.
Waiting for an response at the earlier.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Badri

    Hi Badri,
1.You could not restore site deleted from SharePoint designer in site collection, you can only restore the site deleted from
UI in site collection recycle bin, deleted from end user recycle bin.
2.You can export the site from production server, then import it to test server.

  • How do i restore notes i deleted from iphone5?

how do i restore notes i deleted from iphone5?

Last week, I had serious yahoo mail issues. I'd forgotten that I'd deleted yahoo mail and added it again. Thus turning off notes in the mail settings (notes was not enabled on email). This will save you from buying expensive recovery software that you may only use one time. It will also save you from a long system retore on my iphone which may have cause you to lose unsaved data. This is the easiet way to get your deleted notes compared to the alternatives.
Deleted, lost notes on iphone 5
    On your iPhone:
    1) Settings
    2) Mail, Contacts, Calendars
    3) Gmail>turn Notes On
    4) Then to All of my other email accounts and checked the notes were on. I.e, iCloud, Yahoo, etc.

  • Copy shopping cart item (originally from catalog), able to change price

We create a shopping cart item by selecting a catalog item from CCM 2.0. The price is not changeable, as we would expect.
We then copy that item in the cart to create item 2. However, the price in item 2 is now changeable, even though it was copied from catalog item 1.
We have implemented OSS note 693175 which gives us the ability to change the price of a catalog zero priced item, which is what we want.
But we do not want to be able to amend the price of catalog items that have been copied to new items.
Can we prevent a catalog item that has been copied from having its price changed?
    Thanks
    Neil

    Hi Neil,
I think any item that is copied from another line item can be changeable irrespective of whether the first item was a catalog item or not.
You are just copying a line item and is not directly taken from catalog.
So the system allows you to change the item details.
If you want to order the same item at same price then what is the need for copying it as second line item.
    Hope this makes you clear.

  • Item Deletion from WebTools Database.

    Hi,
Some ItemCodes has been changed in SAP B1. But, in WebTools DB the old ItemCodes exists and now they are creating SynchError as they are not able to find the corresponding ItemCodes in SAP B1.
Please let us know what is the easiest way to have these ItemCodes deleted from the WebTools DB. We have almost 100 such ItemCodes in the WebTools DB. Deleting one item at a time from WebTools will be difficult any other way or ways?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Kafil Shumon.

You could search for the items in My Account>Administration>Catalog-->Parts and perform a bulk delete based upon the search results. If you get fancy with the search queries, and if your items are related in a particular way, you might be able to do this in a few short queries.
If your items are not correlated in any obvious fashion, and you know you no longer need them, but you have them in a list, you could manually correlate them in a fashion that the admin item search query could understand. For example, if I had a list of items that I wanted to delete, but they were all different, I could pick a distinct Area for them - say, 8001 - and do a SQL UPDATE query to set the Area of each item in my list to 8001. After that, it's as simple as querying the items that all have Area equal to 8001 and under Bulk Operations using the Delete button.
Other than that, a SQL DELETE would take out the necessary records, though you'd have to hit all of the related records, which would be a pain. I think the bulk operation is your best option.

  • Any easy way to remove files copied to second drive on import that were later deleted from catalog?

If I do an import from my memory card, choose my external hard drive as a second location for the import, and then go into my catalog and delete the bad photos, is there any quick way to also remove those files from the backup on the external hard drive? I've got a ton of wasted space on my external HD due to things that I've deleted and don't know of any simple way to get rid of them short of formatting the drive and doing another export, which takes a long time and isn't something I want to do all that often. Thanks for your help.

I'm afraid there is no easy way to do that. The problem is that in using the "make second copy" option as your prime image backup, you're not using the function in quite the way the developers intended. Their purpose was to provide a method to take an immediate extra copy of the contents of the memory card, thus allowing you you reuse that memory card before your "regular" backup routine has been run. So yes, they have assumed that you would have a separate backup procedure for your image files, which allows for two things:
    1. That separate backup process could use an incremental backup utility, which means after the very first run all subsequent runs would backup only new or changed files....and you could also set it to delete from the backup any files you cull from the Lightroom library. Thus your backup wouldn't take up any more space than your originals.
    2. Once you've run the backup utility (after first cull so the duds never even get backed up?), the "second copy" can be deleted at your leisure.

  • How do I restore a folder deleted from my dock with TM

Being a new Mac person, I made a critical error. I dragged a folder with all my doc's in it onto the "The dock". The folder still remained on the screen under my Macintosh HD icon. I opened files from both folders so I deleted the one from my home screen. I kept using the folder from my dock without a problem. I decided to empty my trash and had to use the "option" button since it was saying the files were locked (should have taken that as a hint). When it finally deleted it, it deleted my folder from my dock, so now all i have is a "?" with the folder name. I searched and searched in TM for the folder and cannot find it. All I want to do is restore my computer to an earlier time so I can taee that folder out of the garbage. Can I do that? And do I have to reboot the computer with the boot disk in and tell it to restore from TM?

It should be on your backup. Look in "Documents" folder in TM screen You should not have to reboot or use your disk. You should not have to remove anything from Trash. Choose the file in TM and them "restore" by clicking on the "restore" button.
EDIT: All items in your Dock are aliases, so you trahsed the original which generated the "?" because it lost it's link.

    Hi ,
i want to change the item price after billing , account document is created .
what can i do for it ?
Once the Billing document and corresponding Accounting document created, then you have to cancel the BILLING DOCUMENT to change the Price.
To change the Price , If it is Manual price directly you can change in the Billing document.
If the Price is coming from the CONDITION RECORDS then you have to UPDATE the pricing to the  CARRY OUT NEW PRICING in the Billing documents, with Option B
i want to delete line item from sales order after PGI
like after delivery customer want to change the goods .
For this you have to reverse the PGI in the Transaction code VL09 and then cancel the DELIVERY in VL02N---Delete.
Now you can change the Goods in the Sales document in VA02.
Please check the above and revert.
    thanks,

  • What are the iphoto files I need to restore iphoto library deleted from drive

A few days ago my hard drive started making noises and I was getting all sorts of errors.  I even got errors trying to do a time machine backup with the final error being "backup failed".
Earlier last week I imported a couple hundred photos of my kids from Christmas to present which also included our vacation last month.  I deleted the photos from my camera after the import.  Then foolishly, I didn't think to do any time machine backups between then and the time my hard drive started making noise.
I bought a new SSD drive.  I could still access the bad drive so I moved my pictures directory from the bad drive to the new drive.  It took nearly two hours.  It appeared to have moved everything, but it did not move the iphoto library.  The pictures directory is gone from the old hard drive.
I purchased FileSalvage and recoved thousands of deleted jpg files from my old drive, but none appear to be the pictures I lost.
It appears that FileSalvage will recover specific file types.  There doesn't seem to be a way to just tell it to recover the deleted "pictures" directory or recover "iphoto library".
If I was able to specify specific file names to restore, what files would I even need to specify?   I have iphoto 11.
I came across an article about iphoto library files from iphoto 6 and previous versions which explained the following iphoto files: library.iphoto6, albumdata.xml, Thumb32Segment.data, Thumb64Segment.data, ThumbJPGSegment.data, etcxxxxx.
    mmm
Does iphoto 11 use similar file names?  I'm not concerned with keeping my iphoto database in tact.  I just want my pictures.
Maybe I'm asking the wrong question.  Any advice on how to get my pictures back would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!!
    MH

Simply, you can't recover the iPhoto Library. What you need to do is try recover the Photos that were in it. These will be saved as jpeg files* and that's what you need to search for. Recovering all the other files will do no good. You won't be alble to reconstruct the Library. Your aim is to get the Photos and then start over.
The search may find many files of the same name, try to recover the largest files - they are most likely to be your originals.
    Regards
    TD

  • Exchange 2010 + Outlook 2013 = Items deleted from inbox, Keep Re-Appearing. (Cached mode outlook only)

    Hey Team,
We have a single user who when she deletes items from the Inbox they re-appear (in the inbox), if she is running in cached exchange mode. The items do not re-appear in OWA.
She is not experiencing any network connectivity issues
We have rebuilt her MAPI profile including deleting all existing OST files
We have removed and reinstalled outlook / office 2013
She is the only user with the issue
    There are no Sync issues
As soon as we disable cached exchange mode this issue immediately goes away, she is running Office 2013 RTM.
    Any Ideas,
    Thanks,
    Robert
    Robert

    Hi Robert,
If change another PC to configure her mailbox within outlook 2013, is there the same issue?
In addition, you can try to move her mailbox to another database and check if any helps.

  • Outlook and BB - items deleted from outlook calendar not shown as deleted in blackberry?? WHY?

Once meetings are deleted in Outlook they are for some reason still shown as active in my blackberry.  Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can resolve it?
Do i need to resynch them?
    HELP!

From what I remember, for them to be removed from the blackberry, they have to be in the deleted items folder while the phone reconciles, but I might be mistaken.
If you try creating a test calendar item, let the BB pick it up, delete it from outlook leaving the item in the deleted items folder and wait for the phone to reconcile again (or force reconcile now).

  • Items deleted froM COGI

    Dear ALL,
CAN ANYBODY TELL ME HOW TO GET THE LIST OF DELETED ITEMS FROM COGI.I AM UNABLE TO FIND IN AFFWPRO.
    R SEHGAL

    Rakesh,
When a COGI entry is deleted, corresponding "Goods Movement" entry is deleted.
Standard SAP does not log the Manually deleted entries of COGI.
<b>If this log is required have a look at the SAP Note:309050, after implementation of the note</b>. You can find the entries in AFFWPRO table with a update indicator as 'D'.
I will not recommend this as every entry in the COGI will get logged to this table requiring enormus database space. Even if it cleared through background processing the entries will exist in this table with update indicator as U.

    Prasobh
