PSE 8 Serial Number Keeps Expiring

The serial number in PSE 8 keeps expiring. When I launch the program, it comes up with a software setup box which asks for the serial number. When I put in the serial number, it gives a red X and will not take it. I then have to uninstall the software and reinstall. With a fresh install, the serial number then works. The software will then work for a few weeks and then ask for serial number again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software at least ten times. Anyone else have this problem?

Entering serial Number on Expired LR4 Trail Version

My trial LR4 has expired. I have a serial number.   When I start LR I get a screen that says my trial has expired and LR will now quit.   My only option is to press OK, and the program quits.
I have read other responses, telling me to use the HELP menu, but this kicks me into my browser, and onto the adobe help site.
another suggestion was to click on a link inside the pop up window, but there is none on my computer MAC OS 10.6.8

I tried that.   Deleted lightroom files, preferences for adobe and Some other adobe files as well.
After redownloading, and installing, I get the same screen telling me that LR is going to quit

I don’t really know if it’ll work, but you could try uninstalling and re-installing the trial and maybe the first time through the installer, it’ll ask for the serial number?

Can't find PSE serial number

I'm attempting to install my newly purchased -from Amazon.com - DVD of PSE 13 for Mac.
There is a screen with six sections which is asking me to enter a serial number. The manual states the number, which begins with number 1057, can be found on the "back of the DVD case". There is no DVD case, just the box; there are no such numbers on either the box or DVD sleeve. The label has a PN number, a bar code and a series of letters followed by commas.
What now?

Serial number has expired

I purchased adobe acrobat 8 pro several years ago as a preinstalled item.
i had to upgrade my computer os from xp to W7 recently.
i had to re-install the adobe software the serial number was ok but it wont register on line.

Why did my Adobe CS6 Master Collection serial number expire

I have a copy of Adobe CS6 Master Collection which I purchased through my work in Sept 2012. Everything was fine until this past week when I got a message that said my serial number had expired and I was now on a 30 trial. Does anyone know why this happened and what I should do?\Thanks

Serial Number Expired????

When I open up photoshop cs2, a message pops up that says: "Your Adobe Photoshop serial number has expired. The application cannot continue and must now exit." I have tried deleting the files and choosing the "Renistall" option on the DVD.
How do I fix this?

Acrobat stopped recognizing my valid non-expiring serial number

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium in the spring of 2010. Then in the summer of 2011 a car ran me down and I have slowly been recovering from a brain injury. Adobe Acrobat from my CS4 suite became an essential tool in combination with Evernote for enabling me to accommodate my new memory limitations. Last fall, my computer was not running fast enough, and on disability, I did not have a lot of extra money to spend on upgrading to a new computer, so I purchased an SSD (solid state drive) to speed up my computer. About two weeks after the update, all of my CS4 products stopped working, reporting I did not have a valid license. It took a while to locate my disks and a while longer to locate the email archive with my serial number, but I did eventually find them, and yesterday I reinstalled the entire CS4 Creative Suite onto the same computer and same hard drive where it was originally installed. However, reinstalling my software did not correct the problem of Acrobat no longer recognizing my serial number. It says my serial number has "expired," which is not possible. This suite was not sold with a license that was subject to expiration. I have triple-checked the serial number I entered against the original email that provided the serial number. My serial number was entered correctly. I need help. I need my software working.

Thank you for the reply. I remember the two-machines, one-user rule, and that's how I used it prior to my accident with copies on my Laptop and my Desktop both accessing a common shared folder tied to my own login to enforce the one-user rule, in case one of my children experimented with it. I uninstalled the software from my laptop when I let my daughter take it over. I would have run a deactivation if the uninstall prompted me to deactivate it, but I don't recall. That was several years ago. My son gave me a new computer to replace the desktop computer I used before my accident. It has the old hard drive in it, but I'm pretty sure when I installed CS4 on this new desktop that it merged information from the old hard drive. My son uses the old computer with a different hard drive for backups.
At the time my license expired, my desktop computer was the only computer with the software on it, although three of its hard drives have had installations of CS4 on them. When I uninstalled and reinstalled it on my desktop after the license expiration problem, all traces of the software were wiped from all hard drives on the machine. I suppose from Adobe's perspective CS4 may appear to have been on up to four machines, but I have always honored their license. It has never been used on more than one machine at a time, and it has never been used by more than one person at a time.
Is there a way to deactivate licenses from machines that no longer exist, or after it was uninstalled?

Expired Serial Number

I am using FB4.7 Beta 1 (did not upgrade to Beta 2 because I need it for Flex development). My serial number has expired. Is there a way to renew it?

I successfully tested Flash Builder 4.7 Beta 2 for several days, but today the serial number expired, too.
The download page for the beta versions still displays the same (now expired) serial number.

Weird, retail Photoshop Elements serial numbers never expire, was that the exact message? But you'll need to contact Adobe Support (this is a user-to user forum) to sort it out. Why does my Serial Number register as invalid?

You can try this, it might help you.
After installation ,Just delete this file C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache\cache.db This is the location where it installed the serial . After deleteing it will create a new cache.db file and store the serial there that goes with that disk . When you open PS cs4 it will ask to enter serial again.Just enter the serial again that came with box

Old Photoshop 4 serial number won't work

I've made headway with trying to reinstall my Photoshop 4 CD on VISTA (P4 with P5 upgrade gave me 4 glorious years on this computer. I originally got P4 bundled with a scanner in the 90s). To review, for some reason several months back it stopped working and reinstallation wouldn't start.
Now suddenly using the copy of the CD I placed on my hard drive has gotten as far as the serial number. Except the serial number keeps getting rejected. I cleared all instances of Adobe and Photoshop and Photoshp from the registry when I tried to troubleshoot the first time and before I tried the CS6 trial (didn't care for it. The CS5 at work handles much nicer without the overkill). I don't THINK it's the number itself.
The fact that I got as far as entering a code is great. The fact that a correct code is not working - not so great.

Photoshop 4?! Wow. I think I still have a copy of that around, but that's an ancient version. Heck, I even still have 5.5 on a Macbook 5300 in my home office museum.
For me PS 5.5 was a sweet spot in functionality, before the CS name change. Personally I still use CS2, which is also getting long in the tooth ... but added some RAW and other improvements over CS(1). If you could get a licensed copy of CS2, I think you'll find it comparable in interface and workflow to 4 or 5.5 with minimal re-learning. (And there are some great "get up to speed with new version" books on CS2 you could get cheap on the used book market.)
I wouldn't even want to use 4 due to improvements in memory use, speed, and some updates to librarys and plug-ins since that release.

your serial number never expires (unless it's made public and is black-listed).
redemption codes however, do expire.

Are you sure it's your serial number and not a redemption code? If you bought PSE at best buy you got a redemption code that you use to get a serial number. The PSE serial number is a 24-digit number beginning with 1057 and containing no letters, only numerals.
