PSE 9 and Windows 7. Keep getting exceptions on several task.
After installing Win7 Home Edition, PSE9 gets exceptions but after discarding I am able to continue, but it is annoying. Anything that I can do?

After opening my yahoo mail window, I keep getting a very short and narrow dialogue box with the words "log into Xmarks" I cannot ... when it pops up, always upper left of my laptop screen and I try to get into my yahoo mail web page, I get a DING sound and cannot enter it ... everything is frozen. I have to hit CNTRL + ALT + ESC to get rid of it - and then reload my Firefox browser to get back to my yahoo e-mail page ... fortunately for me, Firefox re-stores a previous session ... Remove VideoFileDownload and find a downloader that doesn't contain TextEnhance.

I updated my itunes this morning, and now I keep getting an error message when trying to burn a disc. Any ideas how to resolve this?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Firefox won't start. Everytime I end the process/close the last window, it keeps getting stuck at about 2500k memory in the task manager. The only way I have to fix it is to change some kind of compability settings or try and access it in a new way, and every time it crashes/closed/computer blue screens that setting will no longer work.
That is a short term solution, but eventually I'll run out of ways to access firefox successfully. I've tried many solutions, and some worked, but only once. I have a samsung scx 4100 series and i just updated to mountain lion and now i keep getting a "filter failed" error, anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix it.
Hi again, when you clicked on Mountain Lion and Lion in the App Store you are telling the laptop to reinstall them both.
You may have allowed simutanious downloads checked at the bottom of the window, I don't know, but I expect Mountain Lion is downloading, so Lion is waiting for it to finish, so if you have Mountain Lion installed cancel both download's.
Cancell both downloads anyway.
Go to the apple logo , top left, click on it, then click on about this mac, a window will open telling you what's installed, Mountain Lion is OX 10 version 10.8.2 click on more info, to find out more, Lion will be OX10 version 10.7.4.
Only update were it say's check for updates, not download now. -
E-mailing from PSE 10 and Windows 7
Why has the problem with emailing a photo from PSE 10 and Windows 7 never been resolved?
I used to use Outlook Express. Now Windows 7 doesn't support it. I've read through hours of forums in the past. I changed my default email client to Windows Live Mail on a tip. In the PSE10 Organizer, I go [edit; preferences;sharing; and choose Windows Live Mail as my email client]. Try to email a photo, and I get a "Could not open Outlook Express..." error. I do the same and choose Adobe Email Service and I get a "Sender Verification" window telling me that Adobe has sent an email to me and to use the code found in that email to continue. There's no email. I click on "Resend Email". Still no email. I'm stuck.
Adobe support chat was no help. They ended up sending me a link to a year old forum where other participants ended with the same frustration. They say they no longer support PSE 10. Good job Adobe. You waited it out. -

success.Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

I just did the recent upgrade and now I keep getting an error message when I try to open a book on my Kindle app, I have deregistered the app and reloaded and the same thing happens, does anyone know how to fix?
You are seeing the message because the new AirPort Extreme has some specific System Requirements:

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later and AirPort Utility 1.3
Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and AirPort Utility 6.3
AirPort Utility 5.6.1 in Snow Leopard may or may not work correctly with the new Extreme for all functions. As long as things are working OK for now, you can probably leave them "as is" and wait for another Mavericks update to fix some issues before you "upgrade".
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you could use that to administer any settings changes on the new Extreme. -

I just purchased GarageBand 10.0.3 last week and I repeatedly keep getting the following message when I try to download ANY of the FREE Piano lessons in the "Lesson Store", "Garageband was not able to install the new sounds. Close and re-open Garageband to download and install them again." I have tried EVERY suggestion that I have come across on the internet and nothing is working! If I'd known I would encounter this issue, I would not have paid for this. Tried restarting, rebooting, reinstalling, deleting the cache, and on the verge of just reinstalling the OS. I have come across people have the same issue for months and I can't believe Apple has not offered a fix or update or anything.Immargarita, Since you just purchased the software you qualify for a no charge one on one at an Apple store. They never could tell me what was wrong, but after three visits and not one dime, all lessons downloaded at the store. I was not going home until it worked.
Hint, hint, I had just upgraded OX when the problem started. So... I qualified for tech support. I forgot to get my none working since the up grade Photoshop fixed. Some Java component can't be found and just like GB, the link to Apple for support does not work. I have the good old PS disc. I'm not happy with this cloud stuff.
When you call and give the SN for your computer, they may say it will cost $29.00 dollars for one time support. Instead choose a different prompt, tell the human being what your problem is and set up a visit to the Apple store. BTW, no one at the store seemed to have heard of this issue.
The techie just started the download and ran the activity monitor. The download stopped once. Then he continued it and everything is there now.
Shame on you Apple.

I have several times tried to stop following a thread in the PDF's forum about security issues and i still keep getting flooded with emails from this thread. I used the action within the thread that says stop following but appears to have no effect I still keep getting from 5 to 20 emails daily. Please help!!!!!!!

I have just been having problems with my Canon MP250 printer and decided to uninstall and re-install the printer and everytime I try to re-install the printer trough preferences and all I keep getting was a message saying "preparing to queue"...... I then decided to try and reload the Canon printer drivers and for some silly reason I deleted the existing Canon printer drive. Now I cannot load them from the CD provided with the printer or from downloads through the Apple store. If anyone out there could help me I would be greatly appreciated......
These Canon printer/scanner drivers from Apple - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL899 - should work. The MP250 is listed on the support page. Try downloading and installing them.
